*Once class was over for the day Chesna stumbled her way outside into the light and she hissed loudly. The sun hurt alot from being in the dark classroms all day and she was still weak from last night. She raised her arm up over her eyes and ran back to her nice dark room and threw herself onto her bed after shutting the blinds and getting rid of any lightsource she could fine.*

*Layra was seriously considering finding Nikkos and asking him if he wanted to come live with her in a cave near Istanbul or is Constantanople. She found Turks to be quite delicious, and who cared about the name anyway, it was no one buisness but theirs. She decided instead to see if Chesna was alright and went back to the room.*

*Layra opened the door to find Chesna fast asleep. Good. Layra crawled into the closet and closed her eyes. She went exploring inside her head. It was a technique some doctor tought her once although she figured she was better at it than most of his patients were for reasons she couldn't tell him.*

*Chesna reasted for a couple hours before the darkness of the evening arrived. Once it was all black outside her stomach growled and her eyes flew open. She sat up and thought about what to have for dinner. She then stood up and stretched but then she shivered. Why was the window open, she remembered closing it.*

*Layra had been having so much fun chasing her psychosies out of her head. They had taken the form of Chesna and Sheep Boy, and she was thoroughly enjoying the look of terror on their faces as she drove them from her mind. It was this enjoyment of the pain she caused and the forms that she gave her psychosies when she did this that made the doctor refuse to see her anymore. She didn't think it really got supressed her psychosis, but it always made her feel better. She was enjoying it so much that when she leaped at the stumbling Chesna, she rolled out of the closet and found herself looking up at the real Chesna. She laughed.*

*Chesna looked down and saw Layra looking up at her laughing. Chesna started to laugh, too. Layra looked funny laying at her feet. She laughed so hard she had tears in her eyes. She hadn't laughed for real in a very long time and it felt good. But her laughing didn't last as long as she had hoped. All of a sudden she felt arms slide around her stomach and a head rest on the crook of her neck. Then the soft unforgetable sound of his voice*
Good evening my dear...
*Chesna jumped back out of his grasp, breathing deeply and she stared back at Lucifer angerly. She was very surprised that Lucifer would actually cross her and enter another vampires sleeping boundry without permission. It was an old vampire rule that even Lucifer followed...Well up until now*

*Layra recognized those hands that were reaching around Chesna in seconds. She was up on her feet even before he got out his first words.* You're not supposed to be here. *She was standing with her arms folded and she spoke as though she was mearly annoyed with his pressence.* Why must you insist on bothering her constantly. She doesn't even like you. *She never changed the tone in her voice she was speaking to him almost with a casual indifference and she could tell by the look on his face that he was not happy about that.*

*Lucifer glared at Layra and pulled Chesna back against his chest.* She loves me, I have the bite to prove it...*He pulled down his collar to reviel the two puncture wounds on the crook of his neck*
*Chesna squirmed in his arms but stopped to look up at his neck. The bite marks did look like her fangs. But they couldn't be. A vampire never lets another bite their neck unless they utterly trusted them. And if she had teh chance, she would rip at his throat for sure* You wouldn't let me near your neck....I dont remember biting you last night
You asked me to erase your memory so you could actually sleep, I made your bite marks the trigger *He grabbed her hand and thrust it on his neck.*
*Chesna tried to move her hand away but the memory flashed through her mind like a show. She gasped* Lies...you put lies in my head, I would never....*She was whispering angerly up at Lucifer*

*Layra sighed maintaining her cool because its was seriously irritating him and she was enjoying that.* Unfortunately Chesna I think you did, but I guarentee that it was not your fault. You see, he knows he can't have you on his own so he has to warp your mind and bend it to his will. *She stared right at Lucifer, if there was one thing her mother was good for, it was that Layra had learned at an early age how to avoid mind control.*

*Lucifer growled and his eyes narrowed* I have not used mind control on her...*His grip around her tightened*
*Chesna wasn't sure what to beleive. But as he squized her, her head started buzzing. She didn't air as much air as a human but she couldn't move her lungs at all in his grip*

Oh please. *She was taunting him now.* Just like you never used mind control on every other girl you've ever "loved". Just like you never tried to use mind control on me when Chesna decided to leave with me. Just like you never used mind control when you and my father faught in the war, only you weren't so good at it then and you left him broken and completely susceptable to my mother. *She allowed a small bit of anger to creep into her voice, but only a small bit, she wanted to maintain a purely taunting aditude.*

*Chesnas vision blurred and she tried to make gasping noises but nothing came out. She couldn't think clearly and Layras words were slow and confusing*
*Lucifer was starting to loose his control over his strength. If he squized just a tad bit harder Chesna would snap like a twig* You dont know what you'r talking about. Besides, Chesna is carrying my child, she doesn't want to be a single parent, she needs me...

She doesn't need you, she needs anyone but you. And I think I know what I'm talking about. You were a legend in my house, almost a god the way my mother talked about you. You should have tried harder to keep her, but you just let her go. She wanted you to chase after her. I would have made life so much easier if you had. You never really cared about her or you would have realized she would never really love anyone but you. Just like you don't really care about Chesna or would have reallized that if you don't let her go she will die in about 30 seconds. *How she loved the chance to be cynical and say horrible things with such a casual indifference that evil people looked at her in shock. Although she was worried, she had almost revealed Sheep Boy, and as annoying as he was, having Lucifer on your tail was not something she wished on anyone.*

*Lucifer was shocked beyond comprehension. He just stood there staring at Layra, not knowing what to say. Then he remembered CHesna and let go of her. She fell to the floor unmoving*
