Her youthful body is ablaze, as if fire & electricity have replaced her blood. She clings tightly to the shinobi, her breath coming out in little gasps. The huskiness in Naruto's voice makes her feel both giddy & weak. That his breath tingles her neck when he speaks does not help any. Or perhaps it does. Rikku shudders involuntarily with a moan of pleasure, even as his hands fan the fires in her body. Somehow she manages to gasp out. "I may never tell you to..."

Naruto gets a huge jolt from her words and he quickly extracts himself from her, pulling her away from his body before he starts getting out of control. He pants as his face is now red and he quickly hops over the hover cycle can he gain control back over his over active horomones. He and Rikku may be in love, but they just found out that day and he didn't feel ready for anything more, especially like that! Kissing was one thing, but that....that was totally different.

Her legs jelly already, Rikku crumples to the ground without the shinobi to hold onto. Her body tingles, feeling hot & cold & ... she whimpers softly.
She can not seem to get her body to do anything, and the chill breeze against her skin where Naruto's body had been warming her is too sudden a change. Her head finds the side of the hover-cycle & rests lightly against the cool metal. Her thoughts are not much more help than her body. Certainly her vision is a little misty. Her breathing is slightly labored. "Ru-uto?"
Rikku did not understand shy he stopped. She did not think she had told him to, & certainly Naruto would not tell her something then not follow through. But his kisses were like wine & had intoxicated her. She whimpered, wanting more.

Naruto looks over his shoulder at Rikku, and seeing her close to crying, he goes over and wraps his arms around her, trying to warm her back up, "I'm sorry...but with everything we do....I get....excited. And I don't think I am ready and I don't want to embarrass you..." he admits in a whispers to her.

Turning into his embrace she clings to Naruto fiercely, her hands fists where they close around his shirt. Rikku tucks her head under his chin with a shaky sob of relief that he is there. Her thoughts are still jumbled, but she speaks anyway. "I don't know about ready... and I don't see how you could ever embarrass me, Naruto."

Naruto nuzzled her gently as he kissed her cheek a few times, "Trust me on this Rikku, you can probably ask Relm and she could explain it better then I could. But don't worry about that now." he whispers, holding her close as he finally gets control over his body.

She snuggles into his embrace. This was nearly as good, in its own way. "If you say so, 'Ruto." Rikku gently breathes in the scent of him which both calms & excites her. "Though I don't see how Relm could explain why you'd think I'd be embarrassed."

Naruto chuckles a little, kissing her nose, "Trust me, you would probably feel better coming from Relm then from me!" he says. Now that he had his horomones back under control, he holds her closer and nuzzles her neck, purring lightly as he closes his eyes for a moment.

She giggles softly, "I think asking Relm anything would make me embarrassed."
Rikku sighs softly, leaning into Naruto's nuzzling with a purr. "I wonder why my curfew's been lifted." It was just a random thought, following mention of her sister. With a shrugs, Rikku snuggled even closer. "Did I ever tell you that you smell good?"

"m-mmm." She agrees happily, content just to be.
Rikku is not sure how much time passes like that. Nor does she really care. Time does not seem to matter, somehow. At long last she speaks. "Do you think it's funny how sometimes we can just sit, or just hold hands when other times I feel as if I've gotta kiss you & touch you & be kissed & touched by you, but it all seems perfectly natural?"

Time doesn't seem to matter for the shinobi either, all that matters is the girl in his arms. He closes his eyes and smiles warmly at her words, "I guess that is what love is. And maybe why we have been in love for so long but not really know it until today." he whispers.

"hmm... yeah." Rikku snuggles further into him, feeling the flaps of his jacket on her bare arms. "I wonder when it started. When we started to... love."
The word came out like it was the most precious, most wonderful thing. And it was. Especially right now, being in love.

Naruto shrugs, "Who knows...besides, doesn't manner when we did fall in love, just matters we finally realized it. Who knows what might have happened if we kept going the way we did." he says softly, enjoying the feel of her in her arms even more then before.

"No." Rikku agrees "It doesn't matter. I only wondered." Lifting her head from where it had been leaning Rikku looks at Naruto with adoration -and some teasing- in her green eyes. "Not all questions need answers."
Raising one had to his face she trailed traced his whisker marks with two fingers before brushing them lightly across his lips. "Going the way we did?" She chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with some inner humor. "That's a question we don't need to dwell on either." She purred deeply, rubbing happily against the ninja & smiling. "Fayths, 'Ruto! I love you."
She giggled, feeling free.
