Altaria quickly got off Desero as the "mom alert" rang out loud and clear. Noticing Phae behind her though, she beamed and ran over to her white sister. "Phaedra!" She called and launched herself at the other nuzziling the white kit.
Anastacia huffed gently knowing that Altaria used their adoptive sister as a scapegoat, but she was glad to see her. Giving Cygni a chuff, she trotted over to Phaedra and licked her cheek. "Hello, my darling. Giving your father a hard time?" She chuckled gently purring nuzziling her two daughters.

She smiled at the nuzzle, playing with her mother's mane. "Isn't it what I do best?" she asked with a grin and raised brow. She nuzzled her sister and pawed at her face as she came to her. She loved her family and wouldn't trade them for anyone.

Cygni joined in the tackling of her older sister and pawed at her flakes playfully, trying to be cute and adorable to ward off their mother. "I wanna annoy Dad too!" She giggled then turned to Desero, realizing they've been ignoring him. "Des! This is our sister Phaedra. Phae, this is Desero. He's Reid's boy."
Benton had got up and leaned on Reid as they walked back to his cave. "Alright, Reid.. Something's going to happen soon.. I can feel it. We need to talk and the cubs need to stay here tonight." The two males went back into the back of the cave and spoke of things concerning the past and the worst thing Benton had ever done.
Reid came back to the mouth of the cave with a ghosty expression on his face and looked at Anastacia and the cubs. "Yes, of course they can stay here tonight. I'll watch them very carefully... Don't worry. Thank you for telling me..." After a sigh Reid shook his head, shaking it out of his thoughts. "Kids, why don't you come in here, it's getting dark..." He called out to the cubs.

Phaedra smiled to Desero, "Hiya!" she smiled as Reid called them, her head tilted to them and she reluctantly went to the cave. Something was wrong by the expression on all of the adult's faces. She went to Benton's leg and laid upon his large paw.

Benton looked down at Phaedra and smiled softly. "It'll be alright, don't you worry." Leaning down he licked the top of her head lovingly, not expecting the other two to come in without some sort of coaxing. His adopted daughter was the most obediant of the three by far.
"Aw but I don't wanna!" Cygni complained and looked up to her mother and her other sister before getting a little more upset. "It's not fair, why do we have to do what we're told..." But after receiving a very stern look from her father and hearing the growl she put her head down and slowly walked to the cave as if her balloon of fight was momentarily deflated.
"Ana, why don't we let the girls stay here tonight?"

Anastacia gave a small breath. Something was wrong...just to get the cubs to co-operate, she agreed with Benton. "Yes...that'll be fine. I'm sure the girls will have a fun time with Desero." She leaned down and licked Altaria's cheek. "Go on, my love. Go."
Reluctantly, the black kit followed. She nudged her father's leg as she passed and disappeared into the cave with her other siblings. Going toward a corner, she curled up starting to sulk slightly.
After Altaria left, Anastacia quickly went to Benton's side and nuzzled him, her head burying into his mane. She began to shake slightly scared of what was happening. At the way Benton spoke...it was as if he was going to go someplace and never come back...

Cygni sighed and went back to Altaria, nudging Phae on the way while she dragged her tail until she got to her black sister and cuddled up with her. "Where're they going? Why would they leave us here?" She mumbled confused. Were they even going to come back?
"Girls, we'll be back in the morning, don't worry. I love you.." He gave a reasuring smile and a wink. Which both disappeared as soon as he turned around. "Thank you Reid, we'll be back early tomorrow, at least one of us will." Benton nuzzled Anastacia and lightly pressed his nose against hers before whispering, "let's go". They had things to talk about...
Reid seemed to be one of the only ones not extremly depressed. "Yeah! No worries! I'll take care of them as if they were my own!" He grinned and laughed a little, turning to the others as the couple walked off. "No worries! You guys hungry? Want to go play in the river?" Reid was deffenatly going to need reinforcements... He stepped out of his cave and whistled for his sister.

Phaedra looked at them, they were leaveing?! This brought back memories, her eyes watered a bit and lips trembled. They had been together so long? She was the eldest and biggest, she was supposed to be the strong one. She was an adult and she were acting as a kit again.
Lakeisha peered over to Reid and the childern as well as the white lioness, she was awful pretty and young too. "Yessir." she looked to Reid as Raja scrambled upon the lionesses back.

Reid looked over back into the cave after he called for his sister and expecting to see his mentor's eldest kit, he instead saw a gorgeous adult lioness infront of him, about to cry. He didn't even hear his sister comming until she said something, which shook him out of his gaze. "Um... Yeah, Benton and Anastacia left their cubs in our charge. This is um.. Phaedra, the black one is Altaria and the whiteish one is Cygni... They're not exactly happy about being here..."
Cygni looked over as her name was mentioned and then saw her sister. Wow! An adult!? "Phaedra!!"

"Oh..." she looked at her paws...they were much bigger. Her body more slender and muscular. Heeeey...no baby fat. She smirked looking to Cygni, "I...guess." she frowned. Now she was just confused, oh well that was life. She flickered her tail looking to the other female, obviously a sibling of the king, "Hello," she replied softly. She didn't think Benton and Ana were coming back...though they did say so...so did her real father. But he didn't say he loved them not that she remembered. Phaedra had gotten lost when her two siblings started to tease her and hid from her.
Lakeisha smiled, "Hiya," she smiled cheerfully to Phaedra whom seemed only mildly depressed. She looked to the two younger girls, "How are you girls?" she asked curiously laying down so she was more their level than Reid.

((You'll find out as it unfolds. But for now, the three daughters of Benton and Anastacia are staying under Reid's protection at the pride for the night. And Phaedra just grew into an adult))

It'd been a long time since the last drama that went on at Reid's Pride. Things that should not be spoken of again, for it is simply shameful for almost all that got involved. Now all three girls had grown into beautiful adults, though Desero remained a cub. And Reid... Well..
Reid had unfortunatly gotten a cold from being so depressed for so long. He was just cursed with bad luck when it came to females. But, today after a short absence from his pride he was on his way back on a slightly windy afternoon feeling a lot better thanks to Synda and her medical herbs with two new additions to the pride. Nebula, his new beautiful stary mate and Queen and her daughter, the new Princess Nova. "So... This is it... What do you two think?" He asked as he got to the main part of the pride where the caves and the river was.

Nebula smiled as she watched Nova run off ahead of them to explore the cave quickly before heading towards the riverbank to play in the shallows. At Reid's question, she nuzzled him with a deep purr that never seemed to quite go away since they'd met. "It's more beautiful than you described...and it seems Nova approves as well."
Nova was having a ball trying to catch the fish that seemed as big as she was. Shaking her bum in the air, she tried to pounce on one, missed and went rolling in the shallow water with a squeal and a giggle. "Mama! Mama! The fish are HHUUGGGEEE!!"

Reid smirked and nodded. "I'm glad... Now we just have to wait for Desero to get here..." He licked her cheek before heading over to where Nova was. "Yeah, they get really big this time of the year. There's a special way you gotta catch 'em. If you want I can teach you, or Desero can when he comes home." Smirking he tilted his head, "That okay with you, Princess?"
