Names, of course they would need names. They would need perfect names, for they were perfect, anything less would sound like it had been given to them as some cruel joke. She spread her fingers open, leaving them near each of the newborns and allowing them to curl their tiny fingers around one of her larger ones. They were so small, innocent, untainted by the world; she only wished she could keep it that way.

Yes, they were perfect.

She drew her legs closer to her body, planting her feet on the carpeted ground and struggling into more of a sitting position against the foot of the bed; brow creasing and mouth twisting as a small flare of pain protested within her. Her body was already at work, healing and knitting any damage that may have been inflicted, but it would be a day or so before she fully got her strength back.

"Perhaps their names can wait a moment," She murmured, magenta eyes catching the vampire's and glinting knowingly, a small smirk playing across her dark lips, "As I believe a formal introduction has been long overdue... vampire."

Due to it being so long since anyone last posted in this journal, I am skipping ahead to the present without saving posts or backlogging anything. If anything of importance happened in the last four years, it will most likely be mentioned in a post in the future.

The twins, Roland and Lucius, are now four years old. While Giada and Lars are not together, they have come to a common ground and tolerate each other for their childrens' sake, perhaps on some level they're even fond of one another, though neither will admit to this.

Roland is usually in Giada's care, and Lucius in Lars's, though both children spend most of their time together with one or both parents. Giada and Lars still live apart, though for the time being Giada has grown roots near Lars's home so the children can grow up together.

Giada's obsessive search for Razael has taken a back seat to motherhood, and she feels content to remain stationary for now in a small home near the outskirts of a town. Razael, on the other hand, may not be so passive, and bides his time for the right moment when he will make himself known.
