Tourma generally stayed out of the way once the paramedics arrived, having kept Elliot as comfortable as she possibly could until then, but did ride with him to the hospital.
Once they were there and she was left in the waiting room, the SM called both her yoga teacher and then her father to explain where she was and what had happened. This way, they wouldn't worry so much about her.
After that, she was left to occupy herself with seriously out of date magazines while attempting to keep warm over the arctic blast of the air conditioner.

After a few hours a nurse arrived. " You can see him if you like. " She smiled at the girl, and sighed. " Your so lucky to have msuch a cute boyfriend. " She giggled. And shuffled the girl toward the room. " Visiting hours end in one hour. " The bubbly nurse said as she opened the door.
Inside was an awake Elliot. Sitting up and flipping the channels of the TV station. He looked more human now than a corpse. The color had returned to his features and his red hair didn't look so messed up.

Luckily the younger girl had just come from taking a warming up 'break' outside when the nurse came in, and the Skullmonkey was about to smile politely until the other woman commented and giggled. Tourma blinked stupidly, "Uh... Right."
She figured it was an honest mistake.
Regardless, she nodded and then stepped into the room, knocking softly on the door frame. "Feeling better I see?" She asked, offering him a lopsided grin for now. He didn't look dead anymore, at least.

" oh..!" She jumped rather startled to see the girl. " It you...erm yeah I'm feeling allot better. Thanks for saving me and all." She laughed a bit nervously and held out his hand to shake.
" My names Elliot. And yours?"

The distance between her and his hospital bed were closed in a few, graceful steps, and the handshake was accepted. Her grip was firm, but light for her, considering. If Elliot was paying attention to the shake, he could notice how her hand felt heavier than it ought to.
"Tourmaline," she replied with a light smile, "You look better... And it was no problem. Next time, don't go swimming." The expression on her face made it obvious that she was only partly serious.

Elliot noticed them and his eyes traveled to her hand. He tilted his head tot he side, a bit confused, but soon brushed it off. " NIce to meet you.." Elliot scotted upward in bed. " Yeah...the doctor said another hour or two I would have been a goner. Thanks again, Tourmaline."

"Tourma's just fine," she corrected with a smile. See, she wasn't always so selfish. She had helped someone and everything. In addition to the bit of metal exposed on her left cheek, there was a rather visible chunk of the same on her right inner forearm. "I'm glad I could help despite," the SM sighed dramatically, "Missing my yoga class."

He stared at her for a good while too see if she was really serious. And then burst out laughing. " Yoga....ahaha well I am sorry to h ad to miss it..." He chuckled and calmed down. Noticing the pieces of metal on her. " Is that a new kind of jewlry?"

Her hand instinctively went to her watermelon tourmaline necklace, but she noticed where he was looking and her pleasant look faltered. "Um... Not exactly..." This was what she hated about her metal, aside from the malfunctioning in cold, but trying to explain the metal bits.
"Well," she started hesitantly, hand moving to cover the metal showing in her forearm. "I have this genetic thing... Like, most of my skeleton and a few other things are well... Metal." For the first time in a long while, Tourmaline looked embarassed, glancing away from Elliot to focus on some inanimate object.

Elliot blinked a couple for a second then smiled " Man thats kinda cool. I'm sure if I where you I wouldn've been blacked out when I was hit. " He laughed like it was nothing. " I bet your strong. "
Leaning over he reached out to touch the side of her cheek. " Even though it's metal. Its not cold at all. It's rather warm. "

"If I had fallen into the river I would have sank and drowned," she stated with a hint of bitterness, bi-colored eyes coming back to watch his in a serious tone.
Tourmaline was about to respond when he touched her and wasn't rather repulsed by the metal. Or maybe it was just the fact that his hand was warm and he was touching her cheek. "Yes..." It was meant for the strength comment, but it could also be applied elsewhere.

He didn't seem to understand. "Most of my skeleton is metal... Which last I checked doesn't float..." She knew that she wasn't fat, but she also knew her body well enough to know what would happen if she went in water.
A dismissive wave followed to change the subject, "You weren't rude..." Really, she had said worse.
