Endless told her briefly about Shoom's narration of the Dusk's run-in with "Cuddles" after confirming the bit about Diina and her cookies. Then he settled in to eat while listening to Lily speak, perhaps asking a question here or there or making a comment to affirm he was still paying attention, but mostly just listening to her voice.
By the time all was said and done the sun had set and the stars were twinkling brightly, Endless' pelt seemingly making a merry game of challenging the sky to sparkle more brightly than it was. A full belly on top of all that walking he did earlier and not having much of a nap to make up for it were starting to make him sleepy, though. Not that he supposed it was so much of an issue now.
He curled up next to Lily, rumbling softly, and noticed the pendant was resting crookedly on Lily's form. He was tempted to straighten it... but finally pulled his eyes away, hoping Lily hadn't noticed while she was putting the dishes away. He liked Ed, for all he didn't know him well; he realized now that he wasn't likely to ever make friends with the young alchemist and that stung in a way he couldn't rationalize.
He snuggled against her and rested his chin between her ears again. "Mmm... I'm actually a bit tired. I guess, since we're going to wait a month... would you like to just camp out tonight? It should be all right if the weather's supposed to remain clear."

She laughed for the Shoom tale, glad for it. The anecdote putting her more at ease from the odd way she felt for rushing into things too fast. Liliana liked being able to feel relaxed around Endless. It was one of the things that had drawn her to him, how he comforted her, how they comforted each other.
Green eyes sparkled, watching the play between fur-stars and real ones. He was a very handsome kitsu. Curious thoughts tumbled in her head as she started to put things away, leaning down to lick Endless' forehead as he curled around her and not noticing his shining eyes upon the symbol she wore. Truthfully it had not dawned on her yet that she had put it back on, save the bereft feeling that had overcome her when she removed it had faded.
Liliana snuggled into him. Things had been so much simpler when there was just snugglings and she paid no thought to her feelings and how they directed her. Her eyes closed slowly. "mmm... me too. And camping out under the stars sounds wonderful."
