Damage
30 + 1d8 [3] = 33 dmgJust before the gargoyle could do more than barely scratch the surface, the entire dome shimmered. The terrain that they had been fighting on disappeared, leaving both of them seemingly standing on air. The gargoyle hissed his displeasure as another shimmer had him safely caged, though boiling mad that his kill had been interrupted. Officials glided through the anti-gravity zone until they reached Dythnix. They waved a red flag to the roaring approval of the crowd. Though most had been pulling for the summoner to win, they merely wanted to see the ferocious tides of battle. As they escorted/carried Dythnix off the field, a medical team waited in the sidelines to help the poor boy recover his strength. He would undoubtedly need it for the next round. As they were exiting the field, preparing for another battle, a board appeared in the middle of the arena. On it appeared Dythnix's score. Bright flashing numbers blinked 10/50.

Lahhel couldn't help to be a little disappointed at the summoner's lost, but this things happen anyway, maybe it wasn't the guy's lucky day. Not seeing the other hunter around he presumed that his turn was now, so he patted Esildo's shoulder and walked in direction of the arena's entrance, waiting there until his name was summoned on the microphone. Long time since he was here, the smell of the place was still the same, Lahhel couldn't hold back his excitement and a smile came across his face slightly. He took hold of his swords at his waist and prepared for the battle.

Esildo walked with Lahhel to the entrace of the dome. He smiled sympathetically. "Miss it, huh? Well, I've got a rather nice homecoming for you." His eyes crinkled merrily as he smiled. The lines looked off on his face. As if smiling this broadly was not something he was used to doing. "In you go!" He punched in the numbers on the panel, opening the doorway and punching in the code for the field type. The field -- as well as the monsters the entrants fought -- were completely random to make it as fair as possible. As the field slowly came into few, Esildo laughed ruefully. The field turned out to be a thick slab of rock in the middle of a pool of some unidentified noxious substance. The liquid was somewhere in color between grey and green with a rotten smell that had even the crowd drawing back with hoarse calls and raucaus laughter. The rock slab was large enough for three such battles and stable enough to ensure good footing. Esildo, shaking his head, patted Lahhel on the shoulder. "Tough break with this one. It's one of my least favorite fields." He took a shuddering breath. "For obvious reasons."

Lahhel nodded and smiled to Esildo before entering the field, he didn't even bothered with the smell, the rush of combat was running through his veins and nothing would distract him now. He dashed and jumped on top of the field, waiting for the enemies. They would probably match the field, so he was guessing something not dead or at least rotting. Lahhel kept tight grip of his swords on his waist, waiting eagerly to unleash them at the right time.

Esildo sighed, punching the necessary buttons to send in the monsters and seal Lahhel inside. He was a little eager to see what his friend had learned in all the time he'd been away.
A shimmering appeared on the opposite side of the rock slab, across from Lahhel. At first, the blur caused by the arrival of Lahhel's opponent looked to be fairly large as far as width was concerned. A buzzing went up from the crowd as they impatiently awaited the opponent. When everything finally cleared up, not one but two, Skeletons stood shifting from foot to foot. They're bones were a dull yellow with bits of who-knew-what hanging down. In their hands, they each clutched a sword. And from the way they moved, it was apparent that they at least knew how to use it. They stared angrily at Lahhel, eager for battle. The crowd let forth a ground-rattling roar of approval. It was to be a two-on-one battle. And they were just as eager as the combatants for it to begin.

The first skeleton decided that he'd had enough of this staring contest. He might be made of skin and bones, but he moved well enough for all of that. With perfect form, he slashed at a difficult angle towards Lahhel's right leg. With any luck, he'd take the thing off at mid-thigh. Unfortunately for the Skeleton -- though not for Lahhel -- his sword cut deeply but not all the way through. Still, the sight of the blood was enough to excite the both of them into a mini killing frenzy. They had been reanimated for the purpose of killing things. And their capture had not decreased this purpose -- almost a physical need -- to destroy life.

Lahhel took the hit directly at his thigh, his armor dealt with almost all of the attack and Lahhel only felt a small scratch. Without taking distance he looked down from his almost 7ft tall, lifting both of his katanas above his head in a 'x" pattern. With a swift move he struck the skeleton like a thunder, with all of his skill and strength, in a move developed specially to deal the most damage, able to break through the enemies armor.
