While out on her walk Adelle spotted the two kings walking towards the cave. She didn't turn back but she did bow to them both as was due them for their ranks.

Pata lover Pastel felt his eyes on her and sighed. She really did not mean to make him angery, but she did not like feeling helpless either. She waited for him to catch up to her before starting to walk again. "Nuri...I'm sorry..." Her voice was soft and weak. "I didn't mean to hurt you...if..if I did." She moved forward her tail flicking against his. "I really...I appreciate it, I really do...I just...I've been on my own alot, you know, and I'm not really use to people caring." "Do not concern yourself Pastel... I took no offence." I think not only of you, or myself, but of the whole pride, he thought with the ghost of a smile. You have no concept of such things, my dear, nor would I have this time last year, but it is the truth. Interesting how things change... He continued to travel in silence, keeping a quick pace that would not strain the lioness too much. How he knew any of this one could only guess. Instinct...previous experience?
"There it is," he said finally, not when the huge rock formation came into view, but when the cave itself did. He paused to allow Pastel passage first, calling lightly to the other lions to announce their arrival.

Pastel smiled with relief at Nuri's words, thanking goodness that he wasn't mad with her. Seeing the cave in sight finally, she let out a sigh and nuzzled Nuri before she walked into the cave. "Thank you, Nuri."

Nuri smiled as he padded up after her. "You are quite welcome, Pastel." At the mouth of the cave he paused and looked out over the oasis below, tail waving around and tapping a hind leg softly. He saw Adelle off in the distance and watched as other figures came into view... the panda-like King, and another rosey male walking to Nuri's left. He saw the lioness bow and continue on her way...
Looking back to Pastel was his only hesitation before he bounded off, down the path and across the sea of grass toward his king and his... guest. Surely that was what this new male must be, now...

She slowly awoke looking over at the other lions. Mika'il was definately here. She wondered what they spoke of? Gathering her courage, she got up and shook off her pelt. She moved through the different groups saying a polite hello. Leanna then noticed Meribelle and gave a quiet smile. Walking over to the young lioness, she settled on her haunches beside her. Meribelle had always been kind to her, as well as Blaze. Personally, she thought of both of them as not only friends, but daughters as well. She twitched her left ear slightly as she felt a little jolt in her stomach. Leanna began to wonder how many cubs she was having as she felt another little "scratch". The real question, really, was when she was going to have them...She gave a soft little sigh wondering how Mika'il was fairing. She hoped he was alright...and she wondered if he would be mad about the cubs. Leanna certainely hoped not...

Pandora held her breath as they passed. She could sense that they knew of her presense. When she was sure that they had gone, she rose and shook the grass and dirt form her body. So this is the kind of king he is...? I'll be sure not to linger here. I do not wish to be assocoated with him more than need be. With a quiet sigh, she looked to the northern skies. Something was pulling her there.
She had always had a keen sense of where her destiny was trying to lead her. This sense was now telling her to travel far north. She knew not what was there, but it was awaiting her presense.
With a small sigh, the dark lioness turn to near the lake and find something to eat. Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten in a few days because of her travels, and was now regetting her decision to choose speed of travel over health.
She moved slowly through the grass, not wanting to bring attention to herself as she spotted a light green lioness taking a stroll. She knew she didn't blend in well at all, but if she were going to be leaving the pride so soon, she did not want to let herself get attached to any of the lionesses that resided here.
She failed at her stealth attempt, however, as she stepped into a marshy sink hole, falling a good five or six feet into a puddle of mud. Her fall caused a large commotion of mud spray and thudding and splashing sounds as she attempted to fre herself fomr her boggy capturer. Stupid lake...

Nola looked at Akira and smiled softly. "I guess I just don't want my mom to disappear out of my life again." She leaned forward and nuzzled his face softly. "I am sure she will come back. Its silly for me to even wonder such things."
Adelle had made her way to the hunting grounds where she lay in the tall grass. Her mind going in circles as to what would happen next in this pride. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a field mouse and her paw shot out catching it by it's tail. She dragged the scared creature to sit in front of her and then lowered her head to the ground. "Now little one. You are much to small for me to eat. I just want a ear to speak to. You need do nothing but listen." The mouse still shook and so the lioness sighed and releast the small thing. It moved further away from the purple lion but didn't disappear completely.

Pandora paced in the muck, trying to figure out how to get herself out of this mess.
She would have laughed at the pun any other time, but she was too ill-tempered to find it even mildly amusing right now.
With a reluctant sigh, she tried to claw her way up the side of the sinkhole. She made it about halfay before her paws slipped due to their being covered in mud. She splashed back down into the mud, landing on her side with a thick sound of mud giving way to her weight.
Beautiful...
She stood up, the mud clinging to her pelt. With an annoyed mutter she shok her body, mud covered the walls of the sinkhole. Great...! That worked against me...
The mud now off of her coat, she felt much lighter. All she had to do was find a dry wall surface and clean the mud from her front paws. She picked one from the mud and shook it free of as much mud as she could. She licked the remainder from her pads with a grim expression. After one was clean, she rested it on the wall and cleaned the other. Okay...
With a determined roar, she dug her claws into the wall, pulling herself up. She shook the mud from her back paws and dug those claws into the wall as well. She hug there a moment until the wall gave way to her weight. She fell back to the mud, dirt raining on top of her.
She found a different section of wall that looked more packed than the last, and cleaned her paws once more. I'll have to move quickly...
With another determined roar, she dug her claws tightly into the packed earth, bringing her hind legs fomr the mud and shaking them off. She dug them into the wall, then moved her front paws up, making sure her grip was firm with each movement. Finally she felt grass between her toes. She dug her claws into the ground far enough away from the edge of the sinkhole, to make sure the edge didn't collapse in. With raw power, she pulled herself up, having released her back claws. She finally got her body up enough to where she could push herself up with her hind legs.
She was soon a few feet away from the sinkhole, shaking the mud fomr her coat vigorously. She would have to dunk herself in the lake if she planned on getting it all out.
Dirty, exhausted, and hungry, Pandora slinked around the hole, keeping a fair distance form the edge, and continued on her way to the lake with heavy feet.
When she finally reached it, she sighted a group of gazelle taking a drink from the crystalline water. She waded into the lake, keeping a fair distance from the small group so as not to scare them away. They'd provide useful after she was clean...
She dunked her whole body under the surface of the water. She could feel herself immediately become free of the mud and dirt clots that were forming in her hair. when she surfaced with a deep breath, she already felt cleaner. She moved around slowly, letting the water reach every inch of her body and under the various layers of the thick coat. When she decided that she was clean, she waded carefully and quietly to the edge of the lake and shook herself off, letting water spray in every direction. Grooming is not going to be fun...
With a heavy sigh, she turned her eyes to the gazelle. They hadn't taken notice of her presense. With a sly smile, she ducked low to the ground, her eyes keen on one especially old and feeble gazelle.
she cerpt up to it, keeping compeltely silent. when she was close enough, she pounced on to it's back, digging her claws into each of it's sides, and her teeth into it's neck. With a loud wail, it dropped to the ground, struggling and kicking. The others of the herd scattered and fled.
A little trampled and bloddied, Pandora rose, looking down at her kill. She licked the blood from her claws, and dug into the carcass of the gazelle. There was little meat on it's bones, but it was enough to fill her empty stomach.
After finishing off the carcass, she moved back to the edge of the lake and laid down, cleaning her paws and chops of blood. when she was finished, she watched the ripples created by the small shallows fish distort her reflection.

Ling moved quickly towards the cave, seeing the familiar formation just ahead, and then...Nuri? He chuckled and hastened his step only slightly when the other came towards him. He roared a greeting to his pride, tossing his head back letting them know the king had returned and brought company for them all.

Nuri slowed for a moment as Ling roared his presence before continuing again. He thought he saw the king smile, which lightened his heart immeasurably. Nevertheless, around this other king he was careful not to forget protocol. As he approached, he bowed lightly to both and smiled at the panda-lion. "Welcome back, King Ling," he greeted, falling into step on the other side of Ling.

Ling smiled and bowed his head lightly to Nuri before moving on, his advisor at his side. He sighed and motioned to Mika'il at his flank. "Nri, this is King Mika'il of the desert...he is Leanna's mate...and has come to claim her." He looked to his advisor, his eyes dark, truely the king was still confused, troubled, but he was putting on a cheerful face, protocol before all else.
