I've decided to do a Scientific test of just which bait and location are most profitable, on average.
I've determined that type of pole only changes how frequently you are able to catch things, so that will not be a factor. However, possible factors include which fishing location (out of the three) which bait (out of the three) and which time of day (once again, out of three). Placement on the map will not be a factor, since there are a nearly infinite number of possibilities of places you could be. Instead, all maps will be judged by the spot you start in.
I will then do an "average" of possible catches with each bait/location/time of day combination by trying each one out ten times, and calculating the average profit. This does mean that the project will take quite a while, since that adds up to 270 times. However, once it is done, I will share my data with all.
Correction: Four times of day... forgot that morning and evening, though having the same graphics, are considered different. Ths means the total is now up to 380 fishing trips.
