Actually, it's because I've been botted off the computer like 7 times today, so I never got around to posting... and I've been too damned lazy to switch to Alexander (Partly cause I'm revamping my charity) and I'm weird about posting as a character I'm not signed onto...

Actually, this is an idea I recall coming up with a while back, but no one seemed very interested at the time. I figured there was no harm in bringing it up again.

Wouldn't a meta prison on Gaia just be a prison?

I was under the impression that metas actually made up a relatively small portion of the Gaian population. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many "helpless innocent" bystanders and such. And if that's the case, it would only make sense to place metas in a different type of prison specifically designed to hold them.

Only by segregation. Regular people typically live in towns and s**t. The supernatural half of the population generally all live in castles and bars surrounded by fifteen forests, a dozen cliffs, a desert, four used car dealerships, two outside planes of existence, and one DOMINION.

Now THAT is something I can understand.

That brings things like Arkham Asylum to mind. I guess people didn't think about that at first, since in a lot of cases the answer to dealing with super-powered criminals is to...well...kill them. But I can see a lot of RP opportunities from that.

Exactly my point. We have oodles of meta villains running around, and some of them have to go SOMEWHERE. I mean, I can't imagine the majority of Gaians adopting a policy of "Eh, let 'em run amok. We'll just let the 'good' metas beat them up when they get into their ol' shenanigans."
