Jeff stopped only when he was sure Yakov couldn't breathe. He laughed himself and rolled onto his back laughing like a maniac.

Jeff put a hand around Yakov and continued laughing. "Yes! I never said anything about your health!"

Jeff pulled away quickly, with pretend offence. "Fine then...I will just go exersice myself, and if it suddenly leads me back to the room where there are soft blankets and pillows and a bed for that matter, then fine." He slipped out from under Yakov and transformed and started running back towards the Dorm.

Aurora was so frightened by this discovery that she jolted out of bed-- except she forgot she slept on the top bunk. With a bone-jarring crash she landed on her palms and knees, her head still managing to bang soundly against the floor. Aurora toppled over into a heap on the floor beneath the open window, clutching her throbbing head. But it wasn't just her head that hurt. Everything hurt. There was this splitting pain that reached from one end of her shape to the other, ecompassing every molecule of herself. It felt like she was being ripped apart-- atom by atom.

She let out another cry of pain--only it turned into a roar-- and then a howl. Her mouth was morphing of it's own will! Already her teeth and snout were getting larger and meaner... but it didn't stop when it should have. It kept getting bigger... and then the rest of her started morphing too.

Yakov bounded up the stairs after Jeff. He had a sudden realization that it was Sunday night and he wondered how on Earth he was going to be able to concentrate in class tomorrow. All of his thoughts would be full of Jeff, all he would want would be to be with Jeff. His whole world seemed to have become Jeff. He also wasn't really complaining.

It shouldn't have hurt like this. It never hurt this bad before-- not even when she changed for the first time. Aurora was still screaming but there was no sound left in her. No breath left to make sound. Her body continued to shift. Her back arched and legthened, her legs grew taller and more muscular than they were supposed to be, her teeth were so much bigger, her claws weren't retracting all the way... Why wouldn't her fur stay down like it was supposed to?

But before she could finish the process something else started changing too. There was this delightful smell... this overwhelming sense of something out there that was just begging for her to come... her jaw hung open and poured with drool at that smell... There was nothing but the smell.. and she couldn't resist it, she couldn't turn away from it... it hurt her to not think about it.

Before Aurora knew what she was doing she threw the window open and leapt out into the night sky. Somehow she managed to land on all four paws unharmed. <> a tiny part of her wondered. And then there was the smell again. She looked out and saw it. Two unprotected figures wandering around in the night... And they smelled delicious.

Jeff had heard some weird sounds on his way up to his room but had ignored them. But something was nagging at the back of his mind. He then smelled the familiar smell of were, but it wasn't like him and yakov...it was a werecat but its scent was different.
"Yakov, do you smell that?"

The two figures had stopped moving. They were staring at her. Aurora didn't really care. She had to have them.

She took a step forward, and then another. One of them jumped a little. She sneered back. Her legs were so long. She was covering ground quickly, even at a trot. They still weren't moving. It was a little dissappointing really... maybe she'd have to bat them around a bit.

The two girls had no idea what to do. Where had it come from? They had been walking along, back from their dance class, and suddenly boom! There is this enormous hell-hound (or was it a cat?) It had a short snout, massive paws, the black fur stuck out at odd angles, it looked like it hadn't eaten for months, eyes that almost glowed a weird yellow-green, and those teeth! The front canines hung out like a sabertooth, but they were dripping with a thick, slimy drool. And this, this hellish apparition was coming at them...
