"thats true, but it's natural to worry" he said smiling and nuzzling her back. his ears pricked forward at the sound of Lings roar and he sat watching the newcomer and listening to ling 'Leanna's mate?'he thought 'he's a king from another pride? uh oh..' he thought looking to leanna with a look of sympathy. whatever happend this would not be easy for her.

Nola heard as well and shook her head. "I hope there will not be another fight. It wouldn't be good for anyone."
Adelle was up and moving again. She walked down to the water side and there found the strange female. She quirked her eye brow and then took a seat a little ways from where she lay. "Come here to find some peace?"

Pandora's ears perked up at the female's voice. He raised her head and turned to look to her, "I had planned on resting here a few days before continuing my travels... Unfortunately, I do not enjoy it here. You king has been less than welcoming, and it seems more chaotic here than in the desert... I plan to head north next..."

"First impressions can not be undone that is for sure. And it is true that at the moment things are very chaotic. Mainly because of the birth of cubs and lost of some pride members." Adelle said as she looked out over the water. "However do not be so quick to judge those you have just met." She moved her gaze to the other lioness. "I wish you luck on your travels though."

She moved her tail around her body, the feathers rubbing under her chin thoughtfully, "I suppose you are right. I'll be sure to visit again... I normally would not leave so suddenly, but I'm being pulled north my fate. I do not wish to challenge it." She examined the lioness, "I'm afraid I have not introduced myself... I apologize. My name is Pandora, Wanderer of the Pride Lands."

Adelle nodded and gave a small smile to Pandora. "I am Adelle. I suppose I am a pride sister here but I would much rather just be considered a good friend to the others." She then streached out and tilted her head a bit. "So tell me...what is it like wandering the Prides and learning all of them?"

Pandora shifted, "It is..." She wasn't sure how to describe it. With all of her different experiences, she had mixed feelings, though she knew it was better for her than pride life. "The situations one can get herself in are... strange. Kings are horrible and lecherous. And while it is liberating knowing that you can go anywhere at any time... It can be frightening, especially when a king with a lifemate tries to use you." she stopped. She was being a hypocrite. "However... It is also useful occsionally to be able to manipulate them. Granted, I am sure no one would be interested in being my lifemate, with my tainted history. Then again, with what I've seen, I would never take a lifemate..."

Adelle nodded her understanding. "I know how that is. I am not sure I would ever take a life mate either. I have been through too much." She sighed and then rested her head of her paws. "Males are most definatly troublesome some days...I have only gotten one thing out of my past and that is my daughter."

Pandora nods to her. She was tempted to ask what had happened to her, but thought better of it. If she hadn't said it already, she didn't want to say anything. "A daughter..."
Pandora thought back to the cubs she left behind. If that happened again... She would take them with her.

"Yes. I only hope she has a better life then I have." Adelle said as she moved her head to look at the other lioness again. "I suppose that is the wish of every parent. But I digress. Perhaps once things settle down you would be willing to try and start anew with Ling. My daughter would not be alive if he had not cared for her when she was young. I have a feeling that is true with many of the pride members here." She chuckled a little and then shook her head. "Being in this pride makes me feel like a grandmother."

Pandora chuckled with her, "There are many young ones here, then?" She had a soft spot for cubs, without a doubt, and wondered if they were here. She wasn't aloud near the cave, but still...

Adelle nodded. "There are at least four litters spread amoung the adults. Excluding me that is. And I have a feeling that my daughter might be giving me grandchildren some time soon." She smiled wistfully. "It must be hard...traveling. If you have cubs they are not easy to bring with you. Always on the lookout for preditors...making sure there is enough food to go around..." She shivered a little. "Still it is better then living with a preditor in the pride..."

"no it wouldn't" he agreed "but...by the looks of things this isn't going to be easy" he said "if he plans to take Leanna...i'm sure king Ling will want something in return?" he said pondering that for a moment "I wonder..is he going to ask for female from Mika'ils pride? I wonder were Leanna is anyway" he said looking around and not seeing the older female.

"A trade would be fair. Leanna has an important possion in the pride and would be hard to replace. However Ling tries to be diplomatic so perhaps things can be settled without blood shed.

Leanna came back from her hiding spot in the cave needing to think. Her left ear twitched slightly at the mention of her name. She noticed Akira and Nola in corner. She chuffed over at them and slowly came forward. Her belly was getting bigger by the day; she would need to give birth not too long from now. Settling down slowly on her left side, she looked over at them. "I wonder if the pride members hate me now..." she murmured softly, looking down at one of her magenta paws. "I've caused so much chaos, I feel like crawling under a rock somewhere." She gave a soft sigh closing her eyes for a while. "I've been feeling kinda tired lately, too..."
