Jeff's temper was starting to rise. HE was tired of having to explain himself to his fiance, who was the one who came up with the plan. But he retold the evening to him.

Yakov listened quietly and then nodded when Jeff finished. "So, he is going to help." He looked up at Jeff and tears welled in his eyes. His voice was very small. "Are you really going to let him bite you?"

Jeff stared at him. Why the hell hadn't he thought of that? Jeff had done the most stupid thing ever. As usual he ran off with a half cocked scheme and expected it to work perfectly.
