Jeff nodded. He couldn't open his mouth to speak or he would just end up sobbing in front of her, and he knew she didn't want to see that.

Luka nodded and stalked out of the room. She ran into Yakov as she headed back home. "I'm done with your dumbass fiance. I can't believe you're letting him off this easy."
Yakov immediately ran home and upstairs. "Jeff!?"

Jeff had been sulking and sobbing in bed sheets. But as soon as he heard Yakov he sat up and tried to wipe the tears from his eyes as fast as possible.
