((make a boy, then Marketa won't be left out when Lily gets with James, Franki with Ian, and Sunny with Remus! Maybe you could be Sirius for us...?))
Lily was not the only person who saw the new boy. Marketa's eyes widened ever so slightly when she saw him. He was...well...cute. That's really the only word she allowed herself to use with boys since Yvonne, in case her thoughts strayed any further.
"Well of course not sugar plum!" James said in mock hurt. "Planet James revolves around a picture of me and the coolest girl in Hogwarts!" he said with a suggestive nudge to Franki.

Franki laughed quietly. "Is that true or are you trying to soften me up because it's early in the morning?"
Ian looked around the Great Hall, looking for anyone farmiliar, although he found no one. He sighed, going back to eating his pancakes and bacon.
((no, see, Ian likes Franki, but Franki thinks of Ian as her brother. Franki likes Sirius... it's confusing, isn't it?))

((o ok...then Marketa can steal Ian once he gets over Franki! LOL, i have no clue...we'll just wing it, but we do need Sirius back badly))
"Yes," James replied simply to Franki's options. He then proceeded to stuff his face with food.
Marketa, being directly across the table from the new boy, swallowed tightly. She should say something! No, that was dumb, he didn't look up to talking... But everyone feels better if they're welcome! But if he hated it here then he wouldn't want to feel better... BUt if everyone's happy, less people are, well, sad! She finally decided to at least say hello to the boy, her Czech accent coming particularly pronounced with her nerves. "Hello, you are new here, I tink? I am Marketa Prochazka, good to know you, yeah?" She very shyly smiled at him, then ducked her head nervously, her eyes peeking up at him through her fringe.

Ian smiled warmly. "Hello," he said kindly with a slight Irish accent. "I'm Ian Jacobson. I just arrived here this morning." He flipped his hair out of his eyes. "I just came from Durmstrang," Ian said, with yet another smile. His light blue eyes sparkled. He held out his hand politely, waiting for her to shake it and stop ducking.
Franki chuckled, surprising early morning behavior from her. "Well, if you wanted to soften me up, the best way to do that is get me hot chocolate, coffee, or anything with chocolate in it," Franki said laughing, poking his cheek with the unused fork that was sitting next to her bowl.

"Dis morning, really? Wow, I've never seen anyone come after school started," Marketa said, timidly reaching out to shake his hand. "I was supposed to go to Durmstrang, seeing as I live closer, but my mahder went to Hogwarts, so she knew de area better. Is dere any reason you transferred?"
His nerves sensitive to poking, James flexed his jaw only for a bit of toast to fall out of his mouth. "Heeeeey," he said in a fake whiny voice. "Dually noted about the chocolate, jeez!"

Franki smiled. "Just remember the chocolate next time, ok?" she asked with a chuckle. She scooped up more cereal in her spoon and shoved it in her mouth, chewing silently and looking over at James. "I don't know what I'm going to do with you, James Potter," Franki said jokingly after the toast fell out of his mouth.
Ian looked down at his plate. "Not really. I told my parents that I wanted to come closer to home. Durmstrang was to far away. I didn't want to go there in the first place, but my dad was all about me going to his old school and I couldn't get out of it. I had to beg my mom to beg my dad to get me back here," Ian said with a sheepish grin. "So why didn't your mom know this area better?"

"I swear on my life I'll never forget!" James said gallantly, thrusting out his chest only to show that he had dribbled juice onto his front.
"Well my mahder is British, but my fahder is from de Czech Republic. He went to Beuxbatons, she went to Hogwarts, and dey met and married somewhere in Dublin somehow. Well, mahder moved to Czech with my fahder and poof! Here I am. Mahder overruled my Fahder, I guess." She smiled back at Ian.

"Ah, then we share common ground. I was born and raised in Dublin with one of my best friends, Franki, and then I was sent to Durmstrang while she came here," Ian said with a sad smile.
"Wow James," Franki laughed out. "Sometimes I wonder if you are trying to embarass yourself." She smiled at him, her eyes sparkling. "So, what do you want to do today?"

((>w< Do you think I can portray his cockiness? I'll try. And what about Melz?))
Lily saw a {dirty blonde?} talking to the new student. Good, she thought. Maybe he wouldn't be left out when classes came. He was sorta cute, in the goth-like fashion. He seemed to be looking for someone. Lily wondered who. Maybe she could help. "Um, excuse me, but I couldn't help wondering if you were new. I cetainly haven't seen you around," Lily intruded upon their conversation. "I'm Lily Evans, by the way."
((Here I go...))
Sirius strutted into the hallway, his eyes crinkled, his mouth curved to show his perfect teeth. He searched warily around the room for his friends, James, Remus, and Peter. He saw James sitting with Franki, the cute black haired girl. He bounced gleefully over, ready to chat his heart out. His sat down casually. "How's it goin'?" He flashed a brilliant smile.

Franki smiled, still eating breakfast. "Hey Sirius," she said with a smile. "Did you miss James that much? You came right over here."
Ian smiled at Lily. "Hi, I'm Ian. Ian Jacobson. And I just got here this morning. Transfer from Durmstrang," he said kindly. He turned back to Marketa. "So, you come all the way from the Czech Republic? That's really cool. What's it like there?" he asked with enthusiasm. He was very interrested now.
((you're doing great with his cockiness and I have no idea what to do about Melz.))

(Aw, shucks. Anyway, would we need another guy? I love profile makin. xD))
"That's cool." Lily couldn't help but feel like she was trying to het in a little bubble, that only the blonde haired girl and Ian were allowed in. "Were you looking for someone?"
Sirius reached for an apple, some bacon, a bit of applesauce, a pumpkin pie, some milk, sausages, and finally, an orange, before answering Franki. "Well, ya know, without the walking library, and the sniveling mouse, life can get boring for me." He cewed slowly, savoring the taste. Hey, why waste elves hard work?

Franki shook her head jokingly. "God Sirius, don't you have a girlfriend of the week or something?" she said with a smile. She looked between the two boys that sat with her now. They were both funny, but wasn't James in love with Lily? Franki was still quite lost and she was sure she would pay for this in the end. Oh well, she thought, might as well enjoy it while it lasts.
"Oh, yeah, I was looking for another girl. Fairly tall, black hair. Her name is Franki. Do you know her?" Ian asked, turning back towards Lily. He smiled warmly, awaiting her reply.

Lily gasped. "Franki, well, she, um, is right here acutally. Would you... like to see her?" How could this boy know who Franki was. Well, too bad for him, she's taken. Something shook in her belly. "She's um, this way." Lily stood, almost stiffly.
Sirius looked up to find Lily walkign towards him, with a strange boy behind him. what was she doing...?

"Well, I..." Marketa was about to speak when Lily intervened and Ian went off to find Franki. "Oh...okay...bye..." She shrugged to herself silently. She was used to it anyway. To occupy her time she pulled out the picture of Yvonne again, smiling down at her little daughter.
"Sirius is too busy to have a girlfriend for a whole week. He's busy trying to chat up every girl in Hogwarts at once without breaking a sweat," James joked easily.

"Oh, so is that why you're talking to me, Sirius? Am I the only girl you haven't chatted it up with this week?" Franki asked teasingly. She stopped as she saw Lily walking towards them with Ian. "Oh, hi Ian. Wait, Ian, what are you doing here? I thought you were in Durmstrang."
"My parents finally let me switch," Ian said with a grin. "How have you been?" he asked with appearent interrest.
"I've been good," Franki mumbled. "Oh, this James and this is Sirius. James is my, uh-?" she stopped, not knowing what to call him, especially with Lily right there.
