A small smile spread upon Dainne's lips as the Queen spoke to him. His eyebrows raised slightly as she correctly guessed his identity. He stood away from the wall and gave a slight bow to the Queen, his eyes never leaving hers. "Your skill with the harp is unmatched by all I have heard Queen Vandraya, and I must say I have heard quite a few."
He straightened once more and brushed a stray strand of hair out of his eyes. "It would also seem that my name precedes me. Clearly nothing happens in this fair Kingdom without you hearing about it. Such an efficient information network is fearsome indeed." He cleared his throat and quickly swept his gaze about the room before resting it once more upon the Queen. "I am indeed First Prince Dainne Alexander Vadlionne, and as you said I hail from the Kingdom of Merional. I have come to visit your Kingdom partly in this station of Royalty, and partly to obtain a better understanding of those whom I call neighbor. I hope this visit has not caused any inconvenience."

The queen nod her head at the complement. "Thank you, that's very kind of you to say." She listen to the young man, still trying to figure out why she has seen and heard of him before. The guards announced his arrive the day before. Though they didn't get his full name, it still jugged something in the back of her mind. The King was the one who figured out where he was from. But that's where the queen became concern. When she told the king about their gust, he's eyes widen with disbelief. He then told Vandraya to meet up with the young lad for a chat. Why the King was acting strangely was a mystery to her. But her question was quickly answered when the prince told her his full name. The Queen tried her best not to look so surprise. V-V-Vadlionne. So it's true. Though he seems more civilized and social then his late relative. But just to make sure. Once Dainne was finished, the Queen gave him a warm smile. "Lovely. Come, lets all go the to the dinning hall for a spot of tea. Then we can talk more about our kingdoms."[as a note she dose take notice of Alexander, it's just that he didn't say anything yet and she is more focused on the prince.]

Alexander was too nervous to speak at all when two royal people were speaking to one another; in the Tou culture it was assumed interruption of royal conversation meant beheading due to the Dirt Bloods tendency to be violently natured, so Alexander kept quiet and just stay by Dainne's side as he looked around the music room. Alexander guessed the Queen just thought of him as Dainne's servant or something since she hadn't taken much notice of him; royalty had a tendency to ignore servants in Alexander’s experience and probably thought little of Alexander -no pun intended- and would carry on to speak to Dainne instead. This however could work to Alexander’s advantage and maybe the Queen would explain what was happening in her Kingdom; including the secret details. Hopefully he wasn't too lowly enough to not get some tea as well; Alexander had a thing for tea. Alexander was tempted to just leave Dainne, but Henna assigned him to guide him and that was what Alexander would do, but it seemed now his services were no longer necessary.

Smiling, Dainne stepped towards the door, an outstretched arm indicating that he would follow the Queen. He looked to his three companions and stopped in his place, clearly intending to mention them. "Ah Your Grace, if it would not be too much trouble, I would request that my three companions be allowed to accompany us."
He looked pointedly at Aiden and Leon, making it clear to them that they had no say in the matter, though he doubted they would rise quite the quarrel if asked to stay behind. He looked to Alexander and smiled. In the short time they had spent together, Dainne had grown to respect the stoutly Tou, and regarded him as a worthy man to associate with. "Of course, I can only insist upon the presence of my friends and guards, Leon Deonus and Aiden Ikarou. My Tou friend Alexander here can do as he pleases, though if Your Grace allowed him to join us for tea, I would be most appreciative.
He seemed deep in thought for a moment, unconsciously fingering the hilt of his blade as he did so. "Of course, all that I wish to discuss as a Prince is for the future of Dakrim. I see no reason to hide anything from anyone who may be affected. About the future, of course. He smiled again, clasping his hands firmly behind his back as he awaited a response and an escort to the dining hall.

The Queen turn to them. She completely forgot about the rest of the group. "Oh, of course." She walked towards the two guards and Alexander. "Please excuse my rudeness. I've had a lot on my mind lately. Yes, you all may join us for tea." She look over at Alexander for a minute. "You use to work as our minstrel. It good to see you again. I hope your enjoying your new job." The Queen smiled again, but this time she didn't have to try so hard. This was just the thing to get her mind off of thing for a while.

"Why...Yes, your majesty; though I will miss playing for you and your family."
Alexander didn't want to be rude in the presence of the Queen and he also didn't want mention the King or her other son: Prince Zireno. Alexander was foolish to immediately assume the Queen disregarded him, but Zireno's bad attitude had to come from some part of the family and it was certainly not the Queen, so was the King rude before his ailment? Probably not, Alexander heard many stories of the King's great deeds and suspected Zireno was going through that 'puberty' thing Dirt Bloods got. Alexander was use to not speaking on the same level as Dirt Bloods due to their height, but speaking to the Queen had something about it that made him feel he was looking at her eye to eye yet he himself was merely a child, well, in form. Alexander had rudely forgot to bow when he spoke to the Queen and quickly did so while he spoke.
"Oh, forgive me you highness..."
Alexander usually never bowed to anybody unless it was someone he respected and he respected the Queen since she knew who he was and technically they had never met. Alexander quickly stood up from his bow just as fast he performed it; doing a bow for more then a few seconds usually caused him to fall over and that wasn't what Tou were suppose to do; they were supposed to be very graceful and polite even when faced with hatred, but being an Impure Blood robbed Alexander of such traits.

Jewlet shook her head and looked at Jenny. She laughed lightly and started to walk after Grant dashed off. "Jenny it either you take the note or stay with me. Ether way, I will protect..." She cut herself off. 'I know to much. More then anyone could say or believe. Traveled during wars just to deliver a message. Plus, one day I know, I feel it... I will be hunted down for the information I hold.' She smirked. "I mite as well... use it for my homelands advantage and safty." She stopped seeing someone she knew. "Hello." She greeted with her normal voice. "Do you think you can deliver this to my mother?" She smiled lightly as the person agreed. "Thank you." She looked up and she got and idea. "Hm." Then she dashed off to the mid point where the city and castle are connected.

Jenny trotted after Jewlet, nudging her to get on. As for Grant, he ran the bell for ten minutes or so before climbing down. Seeing some people making their way to the castle with their things Grant helped them by hauling two of their baskets of assorted things. He made his way towards the siege gates of the castle and as he reached them he turned around. What he saw made him worry. Their was a hoard of about 600 horsemen quickly heading for the front gates of the city. The castle's defenses are working as expected. The forests on the side are funneling the heavy attacks to the center. Though i hope their tactics don't change. Grant thought as he saw the troops at the city gates closing the gates for the assault. Grant gave the family back their things and began to help others to get though the siege gate. "Where the heck are my men! They should be helping out here." Grant said in anger.

Jewlet stopped and turned to Jenny. Gently she petted the horse. "It will be fine." Turning, she walked out into the middle of the road and stood there facing the direction the men most likely would come from. "Be strong." She said under her breath. "Be happy." She took a deep breath. "It's so empty here... everyone is safe." She then sat down upon her legs and waited. She would try a peaceful manner, but if other wise, she will have to go the violent route.

((I don't mind who plays the queen so long as they are informed in whatever you were doing with her. Otherwise any further conversation with her is moot... Oh and what's with the horsemen? Is there anything I should be doing about that or what?))

((that was the reason Grant was ringing the bell. Also you may notice the royal guard acting peculiar. They don't know what to do because their captain isn't there.))

((We really need our own OOC... so as to not clog up the main rp with comments like this. As for the bell, I already stated that Dainne doesn't understand what that means. I mean he just assumed they were wedding bells. It's also apparent that he won't find out from the Queen since she just ignored it, and Alexander made no mention of it at all. That's something for you and the GM to work out... I can't just automatically assume things.))
