AyDee > They're not that thick. But bleh, photoshop isn't too cool for drawing with at smaller image resolutions. sad
Ashram > Well, that, and I'm kind of conceited... lol More like a lot of ADHD. It's entirely selective though. Most times...

AD>> How exciting! biggrin I've got about 10 months left before I graduate. (so close...)
Lang>> Lang, conceited? Naaaawww! wink
Hmm...selective with your ADHD, you say? That makes me wonder if ADD and ADHD is like a mental switch and it can be controlled. (with much discipline...which is where I think the problem lies)

Ashram - Yeah, it's exciting. Too bad all I want to do is sit at home, write and surf Gaia. Not much of a career there.

No dreams? Nothing you've really wanted to do?

I've always wanted to be purple, but I'm no closer than I was as a child... sad
Too many dreams, actually. I can't pick one. I have the attention span of a schizophrenic rodent, so sticking to one goal isn't a possibility for me, wherein lies my problem.
...wtf?! The origin of AD's name?! o.O

AD>> Heh...you and I share the same problem, really. biggrin I have so many things I want to do and would enjoy doing. (if I had the discipline for music or art, I would do either of them) Teaching English is something I know I'll enjoy (especially since I want to be doing it overseas) but at the same time, a lot of my professors tell me that I would be perfect for doing academic work on anime and teaching special classes for it in college. So what do I do? How do you pick from so many possibilities? To tell you my side, I believe that I did not pick my profession but it picked me. (my religious beliefs have a lot to do with that as well)
Well...the only thing I can think of to suggest to you at the moment is to try out the different professions you think you would enjoy. Give them a year or two and then evaluate your liking/disliking of them. It is not uncommon for people to change professions when they tire or "burn out" from others.

Other things, I'm not so lucky with. -_-

Ashram - Meh. Right now I think I'll try my hand at being a writer. I seem to like that.
Lang - You? Short attention span? hah...

Lang>> I know what you mean. I've had to discipline myself to read in college, because I hated reading in high school. Its like you say, I'm completely interested in some things and they'll hold my attention for a long time, but other things I have to work hard to focus my time and energy into them.
Its not easy, but it is possible to discipline yourself to bear with things and get them done. It takes time, but the effort can be very rewarding. (for me, I've rekindled my love of reading, a childhood past-time)
AD>> Ah yes, I almost forgot you are a fellow writer. biggrin A tough route to take, if I may be so bold to say. Very competitive and demanding, but if you're determined enough, you have a chance of perhaps striking it big.

It's not the most interesting thing to do, so it does require some self-discipline on my part.

Drawing with a tablet isn't hard....if you're on high resolution that is (and apparently...when making avi edits with a tablet at that size = no room for my fancy fetish for laces D: )
