He glanced back at the male, he nodded his head."Hello Akira. Are you sure you dont want to hurt me?" he asked with a tilt of his head. His gaze turned back to Nola "I'd like to meet your..Pride leader." He knew he'd have to do to do it sometime. Might as well get it done and over with.
"Play with??" he tilted his head to the side once more, this lioness continued to do things that he was unfamiliar with. The rich purple cub blinked and glanced at his paws.

Nola tilted her head a little at his wonderment. "Have you never played or had fun before?" She was fairly familar with that kind of feeling. That was what she was like before Ling had found her after all.

"yes i'm sure i'm not going hurt you" Akira said chuckling a little and smiling at the little purple cub "We should take him to the pride now" he said to nola "he can meet king ling if hes not to busy" he said "and you can meet everyone else too" he said turning back to the cub

He shook his head, "No miss Nola.." he stood up, glancing at his paws he could feel the ache but knew he had to continue on. " Yes please, can we go?" he glanced behind him, always awaiting to see that face lurking in the tall grass.
Akuna glanced at the pair before him, very greatful to them both. He held them both in kind eyes. He wouldnt be this chattery around so many, he liked to..watch others.

Nola smiled at the cub. "I think you and I will have much to talk about. Now...I am sure your paws are tired. Would you like to ride on my back? I will move slowly so you don't fall." She laid down so he could climb on if he chose to. "And I can go hunt if you are hungry."

"Yes, you must be tired" akira said "we'll take you back to meet the others and feed you on the way" he said smiling to the cub

He wasnt sure, if he should accept the ride or not. It would mean he'd have to trust her with his life...which was more than he had his own mother. With a shake of his head he replied. "No thank you..I should walk it.." he knew he had to..to prove himself. He placed a small paw on her back and gave her a pat. It was the most loving jesture he knew.
Looking up at the male he gave a smile. " I am hungry yes..but..i can hunt." he nodded his head. It was a fact he was most proud of.

"Well thats a good skill to know. I was hunting at your age too." With a nod and a smile, Nola stood up again. "To be honest I should hunt anyways since we have another king visiting the pride. When I get back to the cave I will see about arranging a hunting party. It will be hard though since one of the hunt sisters is getting ready to give birth and Leanna might be leaving...I think that only leaves...me and my mother able to hunt really...unless Meribelle wants to join us...oh and you were going to come this time too right Akira?"

"yes if you guys will have me" he said smiling and laughing a bit "thats a very good skill for one to have at such a young age "he said praising the cub and giving him an approving nod

"Thank you." He said he wanted to join the hunting party, but knew he really just needed a good rest. With a glance back over his shoulder, he hopped he'd be safe tonight. Glancing up at the pair, he had a feeling he would be.
He pranced around between them both, " Can we go now please?" he glanced up and then sniffed the air. It smelt like rain, the soft warm cooling smell of it hung in the air, it soothed him somehow, he didnt know how but it did.

Nola chuckled a little and then nodded while she lead the way. "Akira why don't you follow so that our little friend stays as safe as he can?"

Akuna smiled, he liked these two. They did some rather odd and funny things but he liked them none the less. He padded after Nola, his tail waved out behind him, his golden markings glowed ever so softly as he felt safe for the first time. Ever.
"Thank you both...very much." he said as his ears flickered around to all the different sounds that surrounded him. The scents of other lions hung heavy in the air.

"Think nothing of it Akanu. Maybe if you want you can join our pride and have friends." Nola said as she walked onwards. They weren't that far from the cave so it was a fast journey. Nola paused outside the cave and took a sniff. That other king was still there. "Akira I am going to go and find the others for our hunting party. Why don't you take Akanu to meet Ling?"

Akira padded behind the two and then stopped at the entrance "alright" he said "come on Akanu" he said kindly and beconing him into the cave with a flick of his tail "lets go introduce you to King Ling" he said padding into the cave
