Finally nine men showed up including the one Grant ordered to go get everyone. "Your one short." Grant said displeased." The guard stood back a ways as he mentioned that Niro was outside the gate and asked if he wanted him as one of the ten. "Yeah, sure, whatever. Your job is getting the castle gates open asap and tell Niro to get here NOW!!" The guard almost jump as Grant shouted at him before running of towards the gate. Grant looked at the rest of the Gurads who were a little frightened at Grant but also seemd relieved that he was here. "ATTENTION!!" He shouted at the men. The quickly responded by standing up straight. Grant walked down the line and barked out orders. "You! take a group of five and scout the left wall, you do the same at the right, you the back. I want you two to take 8 men and get to the barracks and start handing out the bows, pikes, and armor to the men. The rest of you Help Get people into the main hall of the castle. Give them food and water to calm their nerves and keep them their. Grant then walked down to the castle gates, the four men right behind him, and waited for the gates to be opened.

 Niro waited impatiently for the gate to be open. Though there was something nagging him. Why haven't the attackers shown up yet? They should have been putting the town in flames by now. But there wasn't anybody. Just then the gate began to open as the villagers became a little relieved. When it was open enough Kotoro galloped into the courtyard. The first person he saw was Grant and immediately jump off Kotoro. Kotoro trotted to the side to wait for farther orders. Niro quickly explain himself, "Sorry for my disappearance, there were some people left behind. What do you want me to do?"

Grant was not in his happy go lucky mood anymore. He was good old grant and ready for action. "Good, your back. Go down the the barracks and get outfitted. After that get the royal family to the war room pronto! I'm back in charge around here so that's an order." Grant barked as the four men with him helped people get in the castle. Grant looked down towards town. The horsemen haven't gotten through yet? The wooden walls are not that strong they should have burned them by now. Who are these people and what are they up to? Grant thought before seeing jewlet between the two siege gates. "Damd it woman what the hell are you to?"

"Yes, Captain!" Was all Niro said. He expected nothing less from Grant, and was thankful to hear that he was back in command. Though for how long, he wasn't sure. He was about to run off to get his armor and a sword when he hear Grant bellow again. He turn to see what he was yelling about. There he saw the girl Grant was dancing with at the ball. Jewlet?! What on earth?, he shook the thought out of his head. No time for that. I need to get the family to safety. At the barracks, the other knights were finishing puting on their armor. He quickly put on his as fast as he could. Once he was finished, Niro looked around to find a weapon to use. His fist could only do so much in a fight and doubt that the attackers were unarmed. He wasn't in the mood to get into yet another 'runt vs. pro' conversation over weapons. But where was he going to find a sword. Then he remember that Gon might have been given a sword, but since he had claw probably didn't use it. Looking around Gon's area, set off in the corner, he manage to found a sword underneath the bed. Niro smiled at this and look up to the ceiling, "Ah-ha! Thank you Gon." He grabbed the sword and race toward the castle. Now the problem was fining the royal family. [ armor but silver and without the cap/hat]

She heard Grant's hasty and angered departure. From what she had gathered, the council was doing things behind her back, and she was determined to find out exactly how much chaos they had caused. Her face changed again from submissive an lady-like to annoyed in a split second. She walked through the open door that Grant had so thoughtfully kicked down for her. Her normally placid tone calm out barely tugging on the strings of anger. The Queen had a subtler temper then most, seeing as she was good at keeping her emotions repressed and smile on even in the most dire situations. "What was the meaning of that?" They would know she was referring to the argument that just occurred, but they weren't as consumed with themselves as to talk back to her without the utmost respect. They wouldn't dare. "Why was the Captain of the Guard just here, and not out commanding his knights?" Her eyes were slightly narrowed and she walked forward to look at the two still men standing up. The ones who had shown Grant with far less respect then he deserved.

 Jewlet sat there quietly watching the gate that would let people into the city. She was starting to get a headach as the air around her got heavier and heavier. She pissed, but mostly at herself for not opening her mouth. 'Cruse me...' She gritted her teeth and stood up. 'I should bloody listen to people.' Standing there still, she took hold of her arm. 'Better Idea.' She looked up at the trees towering over her. Quickly she climbed up into one of them and took a hiding spot where no one could see her, but she could see them.

Grant whistled for Jewlet who quickly came over. Jumping on Jenny Grant took off past the people coming into the castle and down to where Jewlet was. But when he got their Jewlet was gone. Grant turned Jenny around as he looked for Jewlet. "Jewlet! Where on God's green earth did she get to." As Grant looked along the path for Jewlet he felt everything get brighter. Looking down to the city he saw the front gate on fire. "Took them longer than I expected." Grant rode down to the city siege gate and looked up at the commander. He saw few stragglers still trying to get to the gate. Grant sighed as his ears lowered. He felt bad about what he was about to say. "Close the gate." Grant hated himself for saying it but it was close the gate and loose a few or get try and get the few civilians and most likely loose the gate and probably many more civilians. Grant turned and slowly trotted up the pass as the gate closed behind him. The few civilians running to try and beat the gate shutting with cavalry hot on their tails. Grant's eyes twitched a little with the thud from the gate shutting. If it wasn't for Grant's years in the army the screams of the slaughter would have brought him to tears. Grant yelled up the the men at the gate. "Pull back to the Castle's siege gate!!!!" He kept his search up for Jewlet. "Jewlet!!"

The two men watched as the Queen made her appearance known. The raven haired man looked over at his associate. The blond loud mouth was shaking in his tights. He chuckled at this, "Would you like to explain to her majesty about your brillent idea, or should I do the talking. Again." The blond hair councilman teeth were chattering too much to say any thing. The darker hair man nodded, "Alright. You see your highness. Some of the councilmen didn't like how Grant handled thing during the ball. So the majority decided to put him on suspension until farther notice. Thought as you can see, that was a big mistake. Especially since the royal family didn't get a say in this arrangement." The man bowed down to the Queen. "On behave of the board, I apologize for our harsh decision. We mean no disrespect to the crown."

[ armor but silver and without the cap/hat] Suddenly the nose of loud clanking nose can be hear down the hall. Niro ran straight pass the confrance room door, only to skid to a stop. He ran back to the door to double check that ideed he saw the Queen. "Your highness!" He bowed to his knees before her, "Please come with me. There is no time to lose. We must get you and the rest of the royal family to safety." Niro looked around the room, not reconizing anybody. "Where are the princes?"

Jewlet looked down at Grant as he came down the road. She shook her head lightly and looked toward the gate. 'Damn...' She cursed in her head. She watched the people scramble. She saw someone fall and used her powers to help the person get to there feet as others only seemed to care for their own safety. She frowned. "They are like the sheep..." She frowned and saw Grant come back. 'Now he's an not thinking.' Carefully, she pulled herself to a point where her face could be seen. Then using her powers, she made Grant face her. "Shush." She said with her pointer finger over her lips. "Go on. I'll give those bloody fools a scare."

Grant headed for the Castle's siege gate when his head seemed to be forced to his left. "What the hell is..." Seeing Jewlet he ignored her shushing him. "Jewlet!" He said happy that he had found her but his happiness quickly turned to upset worriedness. "I will not go on. Get down here before you get hurt. You'll get yourself killed! I wont have it on my watch." Grant got off Jenny and started walking over to the tree Jewlet was in.

Jewlet eye twitched. 'He didn't listen... well at lest he smiled.' She thought to herself. 'What a pain.' She frowned at him. "I'm going to help." She said in a flat tone and she began to act childish. "I won't come down." Her cheeks puffed up. "Don't say that! You'll curse me and then it will happen!" She said in a harsh tone looking down at him. "I should have not let you seen me." She jumped down to the lowest branch. "You need to lead your men. Now go! And don't make me force you."

"Your more important then my me...." Grant realized what he was saying and it was true. Ever since his father had died work was all he focused on but for once in his life he had found something that meant more to him than his work. He had found Jewlet. The last solder from the city siege gate ran up to Grant. "Captian the gate is cleared. We must retreat to the castle's Siege gate." The man said. Grant stared up at Jewlet with a small gleam in his eye. Without taking his eyes off Jewlet he said to the guard. "Yeah, you go. If I'm not there before they set the city siege gate on fire. Close the gates there and protect the castle at all cost." "But Captain?" The guard replied. Grant looked do at him and Barked. "GO!!" Barely keeping his balance the guard ran off towards the castle wile Grant stayed behind.
"Jewlet... Hun. Please come with me..." Grant looked at the gates to the city for a moment and then back at Jewlet. "Weather you can take on however many men are left down there or not I can't loose you again. I know you want to fight but you can do it from the safety of the castle walls. Just please, please, come with me." Grant's speech didn't have one once of bark to it. It was sincere as if pleading for his own life if the face of sure death.

Jewlet went quiet as she listen to Grant. She looked to the side and took a deep breath. When the solder came over she fell silent. She did not move one inch as she watched closely. 'Now he's what he says he is.' She sighed lightly as she watched the to men talk. Once the solder left Jewlet grabbed a branch, close to the same height as she one she was on, and leaned forward. She was close to Grant after doing that. "Sir Grant your are an idiot." She said in a flat tone. "But..." She took hold of his chin and kissed him. Once she stopped she finished her sentence. "...your my idiot." She moved her hand away from his chin. Even though her voice showed no emotion, her face did.
