ChronoSpark alwaysthere ChronoSpark alwaysthere i love videogames and i understand getting caught up in one but i think some guys just take it way too far rolleyes mad stare i used to. not anymore o.o; i just play for fun, it's not some serious addiction like it once was. i think i'm matured a lot in that regard that's good it takes a big person to admit that you get a cookie biggrin yeah. like, i didn't abandon anything to play FF XII. it hasn't consumed my life. there was a point when it would have. sure, i've been playing it a shitload, but... if you took it away from me for a month, i'd just shrug it off.

alwaysthere i'm kind of depressed though my guild is pretty much dead and i wish there was some way i could revive it but i can't seem to get loyal active members like this one has cry i've organized it soo much too i've put a lot of work into it and it's really upsetting that this ONE thread has way more than my entire guild cry
...wow...i'm sorry. ...i guess it really comes down to getting close friends to become a part of it and really having a focus for the guild. i mean, there's plenty of guilds out there about random s**t, but... it's hard to find good ones focused on one thing in particular |

yeah, i know, i joined it, remember? ...what i'm trying to say is, that's my point -- it's not focused on a topic or a thing. it's a random chatting / hanging out Guild. to make those work you have to seriously give incentive as to why people should be posting and hanging out. the reason this one stands out is because we have a thread like this one, and giveaways like the weekly and monthly stuff, and the pictures subforum...that stuff draws attention, it draws people. if you noticed, the discussion and writing subforms really haven't taken off. ...*is still thinking of ways to get that done* |

oh yeah you did, but you don't ever post in there xp i see what you're saying. but i can't afford to have these giveaways and everything. My gold is very limited. I even have a mule specifically FOR contests and everything, but no one donates to her. she's only got a little over 2k. I wish i COULD afford to do giveaways. i do sort of have a thread like this one in there. but it's brand new. at first it was aimed to all the outcasts and wierd people, but they seem to be limited. i don't know.... it's really depressing when i'm trying everything i can think of and yet nothing works. NOTHING. i'm not very good at advertising and i think that's my problem. |

it's hard to get things going. i have that birthday thread of mine. it's basically dead. no one posts in it, it has no activity. even making a 10k bumping contest didn't help. sometimes things just.. don't work. i don't know any other way to explain it. this guild wouldn't be as active as it was without the dedication of the captains and crew here. Simple and i have talked time and time again about how to get more people active and involved here. i guess it just paid off...i dunno... |
