Reaper Elyse Well I've never said anything was a sure thing. The odds are rather against use on the last part of all this. Yet you earn something for acting and living trough an experience. one is the experience its self, and the other is obvious.
Also if you can't laugh at yourself sometimes I think you'd be a rather tense person to be around. Not saying you personally, but just in general when it comes to people. Those super serious and unshakably firm people really bring down my mostly loose personality when it comes to people. I like to see folks who can bend, but never break. Hence my little Alrick character. lol Me likes him. He kina hurt right now though. sad <- Sad face.

Hey~ you work for the institute I'm sure they've got some new invention of the future to fix Al up in a jiff. A few hours practically comatose and you'll be good as new. Maybe a little bit experimented on. =3

True, or potentially epic characters. note I do realize I'm no exception and am probably a part of the problem from what I get in feed back. Yet I thin quite a few things will be slanted to keep it all in balance among the nations, or at least have some semblance as to who's ruling the world and how. Which I'm pretty much still unclear on. The jist is buzzing around use I think but the actual certifiable proof of what each nations real role is is up in the air. Or even what they really do for termina at large.
Also I think it's the epic begetting the epic, no one wants to just make character and suddenly have them go up in smoke. It's kinda jarring to just join a guild and notice the level of pawnage instilled in the gift basket of "over 9000!" fruits, brought to use by the DBZ super-store. Yet I do agree it's more compelling when a character despite lacking the super powers and rolling trough the hard times is far more interesting in my opinion. It gives the rising action more meaning to me.

hurrumph I'm gonna have a super powered character soon XD as my Reaper technically is useless most of the time and my spidermonster is untested so Iono how awesomness that Is, but its true rolling out the hard times and getting stronger Is more entertaining quite often..*goes off to read the instatute *

But as I have 3 completed and 1 incompleted, making more seems just kinda.. handful.

I'm done making characters for now. Right now I'm just helping with concepts and possible story direction. If things go the way expect them to for the desert rats I should get some interesting plots growing from them. Compared to the over all story of the world it's small but I think you'll all like it.

Just an observation. And I know I'm mostly not helping so this goes for me as well. I think we should all try to keep the characters we have going in the story. Every one has always got a new and better character than the one they had before. Hence me and Varak. Or so I thought! haha Every one wants to create a character in another part of the story in an etempt to produce their own plot. *points to self.* When realy we already have a story. This whole stealing of the chief thing. Trance and GearBolt are like the two super powers right now! No offence to myself and the rest of the desert rats but we don't stand a chance against gearbot hahahaha. This is simply a biproduct boredem on top of bordem. much behind the reason of creating a new character. But we are still gona make it interesting buahahahaha! "Ahem" any way back to the point. We should keep this "whats going to happen to the chief thing going." Its just food for thought, somthing to think about, an observation, perhaps even an idea. So lets pull together and make this happen. OH! This also being said by the guy who doesn't post that often lmao.

Well not everyone's going to fall into the same plot. well at least not right off bat. Termina's not that small from what I get out of the general scoop of things. Your right about use maybe just establishing some good ground with what we have now. Mostly I think it's the lack of falling into any of the action that bothering folks. Though I think characters that you build a strong three dimensional personality for should, and would hold up better when it comes time to give them something to do in between random adventures. I've given all of my characters a pretty decent reason for being and only one is really left to be up in the air just because she's interesting that way, but even than she has a past that adds to her depth and gives some sub-text to what she'll naturally do in a situation.
With Cheville she fought to a bitter stand still trying and frustratingly falling short of saving her cheiftain. how she reacted and moved forward was peer her personality and ability. I do admit that when I look back somethings I could've done then might have changed a few things, but no point dwelling on the past.
Osylla, different character different feelings about her people, same genuine concern, but different point in focus on what's really important when it comes to her homeland. Far more practical than cheville in a lot of ways, and far more secretive.
Personality and history really drives a story a lot. I'd say what really needs to be nixed is to many characters that really don't have a purpose or aim. The possibilities are there they just need to be taught out fully. Make a villain, I love those evil bastards. Yet make them with a actual goal and/or ability to pose a threat. As for Gearbolt and trances backgrounds. I myself have tried to feed into the sorted disagreement between the two nations, and in my mind i thinks of various reasons why one may not have taken over or destroyed the other yet. One's the fairy council, but I don't think gearbolt would listen too much to them. Also trance isn't at it's best with the state the whole dimensional rift thing left them, and being surrounded by the evilest forest in the world isn't helping at all, or maybe it's protecting them. Right now for the more involved writer the best thing to work with or to try and get out of this is information. Try and discover the Terminan world or add to it. That's the best thing in plot I think anyone can do. In time and if your on a role, more people will fall in or you might bump into a npc,ipc,or bpc, who knows.

There are characters that use the gearbolt tech however none that can manipulate its power. I do wish some times that there were others that I could play with. I did put a note out before that I was looking fo any one interested in being part of my team.
