With a sigh to see Adelle depart, Pandora lifted her body from the ground and followed her back to the cave. She needed to find the king and tell him that she planned on leaving as soon as possible. I can't stay here any longer. Something is beckoning me northward...
With a heavy sigh she reached the cave and sat outside, finding the panda king inside. she dared not enter it, forbidden to do so. she let out a quiet roar to alert the king of her desire to speak with him.

Nuri had fallen into thoughtful silence as they walked, then as Ling addressed other lions. Nola and Akira had a new cub with them; he looked like no one else and seemed ragged, both physically and psychologically. It brought back memories and brought a kind smile out of the purple-and-lime male.
As to the offer, he thought long and hard on it, finding no good reason to accept such an offer. The two prides were not connected by any stretch of land or water, though they shared the large lake. They would either have to cross into another's land to meet, or swim each time. He would have suggested keeping one of Leanna's cubs, but Mika'il would have none of that. What a selfish lion. In the spirit of peace - not to mention for the sake of his beloved lioness - was that not a fair offer? It was only one cub! And another thing... since when were they so close? Since when was Leanna any lion's mate, let alone queen? It baffled Nuri, though she had been so secretive all this time. It made him suspicious of her intentions. Suspicious of everything she had ever done or said. And he was not normally like that; it angered him.
He waited patiently, apart from the chaos surrounding them. These interruptions in which lions politely demanded to speak with Ling were to be expected. When he had decided on his ultimate opinion, he watched the king openly, waiting to catch his eye. And waiting for the king to finally take him aside... how else would they be able to speak in peace?

Ling noted that Pandora was trying hard to get his attention, granted the fact that he was rather busy, he did not have the time to be bothered by a wandering lioness. He caught Nuri's eye and motioned him aside, assuming that the male had come to a decission. "What is it Nuri, tell me that you have come up with something that will keep the peace..." He sighed ans hung his head, he had a headache, and this was not helping.

Nuri nodded, sighing. "I realize your ... friend ... from another land has refused to part with one of his cubs. Unfortunately, I disagree that it is entirely his decision. If there is any possibility that some of Leanna's cubs are not his, that should be taken into concideration..." Eyeing Ling carefully with a raised eyebrow, he continued: "If she agrees, I suggest she birth her cubs here. She may consider that regardless of their decision, she is rather far along...
"However, if both refuse, I have to concede that the only choice is to take the land offered by Mika'il. I want to stress that I do not like this choice. Neither pride is connected in any way. You would have to put lions in that other land to keep it secure, ones that you have to trust absolutely, ones that are experienced enough to hold onto that land. Each time the two lands meet, we would have to either cross over another lion's land, or swim..." He shook his head, peturbed. "I really don't like this."
Again he looked at Ling seriously. "You have just won a battle with Shaitani. It was a good fight, but it cost you dearly. That along with all this stress would guarantee defeat, should you challenge Mika'il for Leanna, or the cub, should they disagree with the trade and you demand either anyway." He paused and lowered his voice. "I would be honored to stand in your place..."

Pandora did not like being ignored. Damn kings... Arrogant fools! However, she stayed planted, watching with fierce eyes the king go about his duties. Something inside her was aching and telling her to leave now and go north. She wanted to dearly, but knew it would not be stood for if she left unnannounced.

Ling sighed. He knew it would come to this, but the fact that Nuri himself had offered to take his palce, offered to help him fight. He was touched. He looked the other in the eyes, his body so very tired. "Nuri...I know there has to be a way...there has to be." He let his mind roll over it abit. "I will have to think this over, weigh my options, talk to Leanna...there has to be something that we both are missing." He looked ot his advisor.

Nuri sighed. "I am sorry I'm not much help..." he said softly, lowering his eyes. "But yes... talk to Leanna... offer Mika'il to stay a night or a few days while you consider your options. He owes you that much for coming here so abruptly," he added, lifting his eyes to watch the pinkish-colored king warily.

"Yes...I agree... I wil have to think this over for a long while.." He placed a paw on Nuri's "it is not your fault, my friend...I got myself into this mess..I will have to find a way out." He smiled at the other male, his eyes looking over Nuri's shoulder at pandora. "State your business Pandora...what is it?" He hoped that Nuri would not take this interuption as a call to leave.

Nuri blinked and looked down at the paw over his. Ling had not lifted it... Even if he had, he still needed to speak with the king, about Pastel. So he stayed and looked over at Pandora. Ah, this must be the lioness that Ling had met last night, he thought; he recognized her smell. And wondered why she was here now.

Akira smiled and nuzzled Akanu happily on the head as Nola did. "I hope that we can prove to be wonderful guardians for you, we'll teach you all we know" he said smiling "now go on, i'm sure the other cubs will want to meet you" he said giving the cub a gentle nudge with his big grey paw.

Smiling he nodded his head, he glanced back at the cave. So many others, his eyes widened. Fear snaked its way around him slowly, he shook his head and masked it. Glancing over his shoulder, just to make sure he was safe he turned his gaze up to Akira and Nola and let out a small yawn.
"Can I take a nap first?" he asked, he wondered if he was really so tired he couldnt go and figure out this play thing with others, or if it was the fear of them all. Deciding he was just tired he stated where he stood for a moment.

"Alright. You can rest for now and introduce your self when you wake. Maybe there will be some food for you too." Nola said as she watched him yawn. She laid down and beckond him near her. "I will keep you warm until I must go hunt."

She rose when the king turned his attention to her, "I just wanted to tell you that I am leaving. While I appreciate your... hospitality, I can only say that in reality you have been much less than hospitable toward me. However, I do appreciate you letting me rest on your lands. I am being pulled northward by fate, however, and the longer I wait here to leave, the stronger the pull becomes." She bowed her head ever-so-slightly to him and awaited his response before she turned to leave.
What was up north that pulled at her so strongly?

Padding over towards her, he glanced at her and made a silly face. "Do I have to?" He asked as he walked in a circle a few times before laying down and curling himself up against Nola's chest as he laid himself between her paws.
He glanced up at her, and Akira "Thank you." he spoke in the middle of a yawn. He laid his head upon her paw, closing his eyes and took a deep breath and slowly tired to relax enough to fall asleep.

Nola purred softly and hummed until the cub was sleeping soundly. She grinned at Akira almost feeling like a new mother. She chuckled a little and then laided her head down so she could rest before hunting.
