"Aurora, will you please calm down. Just talk to me. We can figure this out." She knelt down near Aurora.

Yakov cringed as Jeff screamed. He transformed and helped Jeff up. The blood was matting in their fur so at least they wouldn't be leaving a huge blood trail. He decided that his room was closest so he walked Jeff there. He transformed once they were back and found an old towel to lay on the ground. He helped Jeff onto it.

When they were a few yards off, Connor let the girl down gently onto the grassy hill that he had arrived at. The phone was already clamped to the side of his head as he gave their location to 911 operator. Since there was no immediate danger and he was calm, the operator allowed him to hang up. As he waited, he dialed the mayor's number.
"Yeah, I know it's late, but there's a bit of an emergency. Yes, I am fine, but one of the college students is wounded. Yeah, it was one of the wers, but she's not a threat right now. One of my friends is distracting her. Look, all I need you to do is explain this to the cops and keep me out of trouble. Alright. Bye."
Only moments after that, he could hear sirens nearing.

Curtis finished pulling on his socks and then went in to toss out the now cold coffee from the day before and start a fresh round. While that started and he considered what to make for breakfast, he seated himself cautiously on the edge of the futon and began to brush out his hair.

Kat, of course, did absolutly nothing. She didn't even flinch. She just continued to lay there, her face in the pillow. Finally she was tired enough to actually fall asleep and her breathing started to slow as she drifted off in to la-la land.

Jeff whimpered and sagged down onto the towel. He didn't try transforming again, it would probably make h im passout. He just layed there looking pitiful.

Aurora looked at Luka. "But it doesn't make sense! I went to bed, I was sick... and when I woke up everything hurt... it hurt so bad...and then I smelled food... I need it so bad... but you guys are small and you're not a gang... and Connor is a hunter but he hangs out with were's... and something is wrong with me but I don't know what... and you think I'm trying to eat a person instead of a mouse but I would never do that... and it all doesn't make sense!" She curled up tighter still clutching her head. IT was starting to hurt again, like before...

Would he have to hold Katra's nose and then pour the coffee into her mouth? Tempting though it was, it was also clearly a bad idea. She had been acting strangely, and a repeat of last night while at school would be disastrous. He'd just have to leave her, unless she woke of her own volition in the next five minutes. With a patient roll of his eyes, Curtis tied off his hair and started some breakfast. If the smell of food didn't wake her, he could leave her portion in the fridge.

As Connor watched the ambulance go, his hand automatically reached for his cigarettes. He prayed that she'd be okay. He didn't want his first casualty on this job to be a human. Why had Luka stopped him?! True, he liked Aurora as well, but his job was his job. Then again, what if it had been Luka? Would he have been able to do that. Connor sighed, a large puff of smoke slipping past his lips. Until right then, he hadn't minded that he was softening. The last five minutes had been a real eye-opener. As much as he wanted to avoid it, he'd have to talk to Luka about that.

She had a quick dream about eating a giant deer when she sat up like a bolt of lightning. 'Ewwww, I was eating deer!' was her first thought, then 's**t, I'm hungry." She tossed the blankets aside and stood up, 'good. my legs are working again.' She then remembered her nuddity and wrapped a blanket around her, she was too lazy to find her clothes just yet. She walked over to Curtis and punched him in the arm, "Thanks for getting me up, jackass." She glared at him then stood on her tippy toes to give him a quick good morning kiss.

"Aurora please, just try to calm down and maybe I can explain." She felt so sorry for the poor thing, she was so confused. "First of all, no one has gotten any smaller than usually, I can only assume that means you have gotten bigger. And yes, Connor is a hunter, but I'm kind of in love with the boy so I don't exactly let him not hang with me. And I hate to tell you this, but that was a girl, not a mouse. I know it didn't seem like a girl to you, but it was." She looked around suddenly remebered Jeff and Yakov and looked around. They weren't around, she hoped they were okay.

Yakov grabbed the strongest painkillers he could find and trippled the dose. Over the counter crap was always way underdosed anyway. And a bowl of water and brought them to Jeff. "I really don't know what else to do." Yakov was practcally pleading at this point.

Jeff was starting to get a bit woozy. He couldn't tell what was broken anymore and Yakov probably couldn't tell either. 'Well s**t, this is going to hurt...'
He bit down on the towel and started to transform. And it hurt ten times worse than transforming to wolf form.
Once he was human again he started mouthing off every curse word he knew.

"Hey you made noise," Curtis answered with a chuckle as he kissed her back. "If figured it meant you were as awake as you were going to get without a caffeine injection, and I'm not to skilled with needles." He patted her head and then returned his attention to breakfast. "I'm making a German breakfast. It normally had meat in it, but I'm just putting potatoes and cheese in yours."

"Its a little hard to say really. It's only been a couple of days and the whole wolf things has been a little in the way. He has stopped trying to kill me/run away from me though." She wondered where he was. She had heard sirens, but he hadn't come back yet.

"Oh Jeff..." Yakov couldn't stand Jeff being in this much pain. He thought he would probably rather kill himself than know Jeff hurt this much. To make matters worse, there wasn't anything he could do. He sat on the floor next to Jeff. "s**t dude. Well at least most of the bleeding has stopped." He brushed hair out of Jeff's face again and tried to smile, but didn't quite succeed.

"Oh..." That didn't sound too bad... she wondered if there might be some hope then...
She uncurled slighty. Aurora had just realized that the mouse was gone...
"I'm so hungry..." she whined a little. It was an odd sound to be coming from such a monstorous face.

"Mmmmm, cheese!" She said before slipping back over to the futon. She found the bag of her clothes and rummaged through them till she found a school appropriate outfit, meaning it was long sleeve neon green mid-driff bearing striped shirt with blue short shorts and a hot pink belt to match the hot pink thigh hi's she was now slipping on. She found her platforms and laced them up before heading over to the bathroom to brush her hair and put on a slight bit of make up, she had found matching neon green eye liner and had gone to town. She stepped out of the bathroom, a little disapointed she had forgotten to get earrings when she was with Curtis at the mall on...was that friday?!
She went up to Curits and wrapped herarms around him like she was going to hug him but instead stole the coffee pot and poured herself a very large mug full.

Jeff groaned and tried very hard not to move, any and all movement lead to pain. Breathing still hurt like a b***h, so it was just a like a giant pain fest going through his body.
"Sorry...about messing up...your job on my hair..." He said trying and failing to sound sarcastic.

Luka felt pity well up inside her. Aurora looked so hurt. "Is there something I can get for you?"

Yakov matched Jeff's failed sarcasm almost exactly. "It gives me a chance to do it again. It would probably be best if you tried to sleep. It can sometimes speed the healing." He kept stroking Jeff's head just hoping he would be okay. The world couldn't take Jeff away now, not now, oh dear God. He barely held back a sob.

"No... no... I just need to go back to bed... back to bed..." Aurora felt herself slipping into a total exhaustion... she hadn't managed to eat anything yet and it was nearing morning already.
"So tired... I'm not even sure I can walk that far..." Her giant form was really starting to feel heavy. She decided to change back.
...but nothing happened. Aurora concentrated again. Nothing. She closed her eyes and told her form to change-- she focused on her human shape and what it felt like... nothing.
Aurora's eyes opened in horror. "ICAN'TCHANGEOHMYGOSHWHATDOIDOHOLYHELLFREAKAAAARGH!"
