He didn't really get much time to glare at Leon for very long because Cass hugged him and he froze only a little bit before he let her hug him before an arm wrapped around her to awkwardly pat her back, "Yeah, I'm fine. You won't get rid of me that easily." He said quietly to Cass.
Leon was pretty much going to be ignored for the moment.
Jude looked over at Harrison and chuckled a bit, "Hey man, it's alright. Not everyone graduated from grade school humor."
With that he started to take out bandages to attend to his wounds and burns. he wasn't going to risk getting anymore hurt than he already was.HP: 40 (was 23) USED: Bandages (has one left).

Davey's hands flew to his ears, uselessly, as the mental conversation slammed into his head. It sounded similar to the way he and Azrael 'spoke', but instead of the natural (and just when had he started to think of it as natural?) flow of voices, it was a fierce, alien intrusion. It left as soon as it arrived, leaving Davey with a ringing headache but otherwise relieved. Between this monster and the Soul Harvester, it seemed like his brain was destined to melt out of his ears during this operation.
~What brain?~ came the instant rejoinder.
Davey hmphed, one corner of his lips twitching. "Glad you're back to normal," he said, while he eyes remained on the giant beast in their midst.
Azrael gave a snooty hmph of his own, but seemed to curl up closer in Davey's mind again. Sensing the human's amusement, Azrael gave a sharp mental jab and muttered, ~Shut up, Davey.~
Its mental discussion done with, the beast let out a deafening roar. Spewing threats, it leapt up into the air.
"Oh s**t." Davey's stomach dropped. Spying a nearby rock, he dove behind it. Flames raged around him as he pressed his back against his minimal cover, arms up to proect his head. Heat struck him, even if the worst of the fire didn't. When he judged it to be safe, he stood up. A few spots of pain had him looking down, swearing as he noticed small patches of blue fire burning away at his clothes. Davey patted them out, twisting and peering around to make sure he hadn't missed any.
Somehow, he realised, he was miraculously unharmed. Too bad he couldn't say the same for everyone else. Taking in the burning, smoking carnage around him, Davey began wandering in search of other Hunters.

If there was one advantage to her small size it was the ease with which Mandy could completely smother herself with dirt as she rolled in the ground. Her thrashing did it's job as she felt the flames go from roaring torment to smolder.
Exhausted she flopped back against the ground, fur practically burned away and body still faintly smoldering.
She hated fire. She really, really did.

At least the chuckling dies down after awhile, it did still take a moment because Jude was still smoking but the chuckles soon ceased with a heavy sigh. "I'd laugh if I was set on fire." the Boxer replied back hastily. "Sure not at first, I'd probably be saying Ow, but I'd laugh about it at one point." he said in perfectly faked innocence and tried to pull Cass back before she hugged the smoking Jude. "Cass, he was on FIRE. don't tell me your going to agitate his new burns by giving him a hug?" he groaned out in dismay at her thinking process. "His nerves are already shot as it is." Apparently he must have had nerves of steel considering how he reacted. Leon however was quickly if it was really Jude there, or a clever golem disguise. "Yeah yeah, when your body decides to graduate from 6th grade, you let me know so I can use a more eloquent remark against you." he replied back, even if he was going to be ignored. "But Cass is right, we've lost Marcus and I hope he didn't become a nice crispy corpse." he mused out loud, forgetting that his said lady was present until shocked hands flew to his mouth and promptly bit his cheek for the stupidity of letting his mouth loose.

As Aksaja lay stunned on the ground, there were suddenly voices, voices in his head, one very loud and one quieter and more familiar. Red . . . and someone else. Who? What the Jacking hell?
Before the lightning dragon could question it further, though, the monstrous creature reared up and the first voice he'd "heard" spoke aloud, the words now more like a roar. Oh ********. Aksaja realized what was about to happen just seconds before the fire slammed down into the battlefield and with a mad scramble consisting of running, jumping, and pumping his own wings a few times for extra speed, he managed to get behind a rock.
Then the rock exploded in his face. He stumbled back with a cry, only to realize that . . . it hadn't really hurt him all that badly. He was still here, still alive. He winced, looking around. Unlike . . . several of the others. s**t.

Davey saw a white coat from a distance. He broke into a stumbling run, unsure why he assumed it was a Hunter's coat covered in soot and small flames that were burning themselves out into smoke. Closer, he took in the blond ponytail and the fallen gun. "s**t, Gale." Davey slowed his approach. Crouching down next to the kid, he took in the injuries. Gale really needed medical attention - Davey would even risk letting Dr H. near the kid right now. Unfortunately that wasn't an option. The only instructors they had in the area were Caelius, status unknown, and Aria, traitor and bloody giant wolf-thing that had just fried everyone. Davey was the best that Gale was going to get. Taking out his last roll of bandages, Davey began bandaging up the unconscious (he hoped it was just unconscious, and not dead) Gale. "Hey mate, time to get up," he tried to encourage the blond. "We need to see who else made it, and take out that b***h before she roasts us again." HP: 40/40 Status: used last roll of bandages on GaleFear Charge: 2/3 Fear Attack: To Taste of Death - poisonous bile covers Azrael's blade. Uses The Tainted Fang for rolling.

Cady's natural tendency to trust the faculty at this point was non-existent. When the crazed monstrosity that was The Artist Formerly Known As Red took wing after a rather dramatic semi- monologue, she ran for cover. It was probably one of the smartest things she'd done in her life, she reflected sourly, batting out tiny fires that were the only aftermath to the otherwise devastating blast. Thank Jack for space-rocks. The sudden pulse of FEAR left her feeling more refreshed, and she ducked out from behind her shelter to check on the rest of her fellow students. Bul was on fire. Literally. Cady crawled over to him cautiously - those were some nasty looking burns. "I wanna go home too," she remarked unhappily. She wasn't quite sure what to do - awkward pats on the back would probably be painful. She settled for attempting drag him back behind the rock, her teeth gingerly taking hold of his arm. "I'amf soffy," she muttered, voice muffled. This was one of those times that Cady missed opposable thumbs. Where was Willow and the pink haired ghoul? And the giant bird cat and the wolf and the guy on the pony and... suffice to say, it looked like the fire had taken out a LOT of people. She heard some students calling to rally in the distance - but she didn't want to abandon her teammate. She'd wait it out a little while longer. HP: 5 + 5 for round = 10

After a moment or two, Aksaja carefully moved out from behind the rock, surveying the carnage. It was pretty easy to see that Caelius was near the end of his strength but after everything he'd seen the lead Hunter do, the lightning dragon wasn't about to attack him on his own at this point. No, it would be much better to try and gather up a group and then take him out.
Shaking wings out, Aksaja took to the air again so he could move faster and started calling out to those he knew, trying to gather them. "Demi! This way!"
"Christof, Shehk, Sin, c'mon, we can do more if we're all together!"
And finally, "West, Junko, let's go!" If other Halloween students heard his calls, their help would be more than welcome but for right now he was focusing on those he knew, so he could get their attention more quickly by calling their names.
Once he'd done that, Aksaja picked another rock and landed on top of it, so that hopefully they could all see him and know where to gather.

Jerry just barely was able to keep up with Candace's barrage of half shouting, half croaking through tears, his pale, burned face reddening as she finally stooped down to whisper in his ear. His first thought was 'this is definitely not the time for this'. His second was, 'I almost died... or DID die... Pursing his lips (and wiping them on his charred sleeve, to make sure all the sick was gone), he gingerly sat up to kiss her chin. "W-well... you... you can start by helping me f-find my glasses?" He gave a weak laugh that turned into a groan as she hugged his burns. "I... I th-think I can stand... at least..." The more he rested, the better he felt as his Fear Shield re-situated itself around him. By the sounds of it, their mission was no where near complete.

Christof, meanwhile, still had a crazed look in his eye as he heard the spazzy, electrical dragon shout out to him. Rally? That is not how you rallied. He veered from his course, first spotting poor Miss Lattice looking lost on the ground, and very carefully grabbed her by the shoulder to wrench her to her feet. Next, his eyes scanned for a translator- AH! Miss Amrita! Dragging Lattice behind him, he limped towards her, snarling out through his stitched lips at the top of his lungs a mighty, "HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" His fist up i the air for anyone who cared to look. Upon making his way to the battered girl, his first thought was what a mess she had made of the nice body he and Mal had made her. But there ws no time to fret. Only time to act. With a sharp snort, he let go of Lattice, hands flying to sign to the vitala, "Must-act. Must-rip-them-apart. Must-make-them-afraid. Must-destroy-them-all. Need-others. Need-more. We-are-an-army. Must-complete-task."

Lattice didn't have enough time to actually think about much of anything more when suddenly there was a Christof and he was making some rather interesting noises and the like it seemed like he was trying to rally people as well perhaps? Or he was doing something else she couldn't quite think of a word for because soon he also grabbed another ghoul.
Either way Lattice was more willing to follow the Patchwork than anything else since she owed him more and knew him better the fact that he physically dragged her also helped.
She stood near Christof and Amrita and watched as the Patchwork boil started to make movements.

The Vetala didn't quite know where Johan came from; all she knew was that suddenly he was there. She stared up at him when he said her name, her single eye still wide and brimming with what was probably tears. Patiently she waited for him to do or say something more, only vaguely aware of where his hand was until she felt the weight of it, however slight, against her shoulder. Then there went the waterworks, so to speak. "S-S-She's gone! They're gone!" She cried out, taking his comforting shoulder pat as an invitation for a hug, which she took quite against his will. The hug and waterworks were thankfully cut short though, as Christof came blundering over; the only thing that came to her mind was OH JACK HE'S GOING TO KILL ME! The second was, of course, a lot nicer as she realized he was signing. Still quite clinging to Johan, the Vetala stared at her naked hunchbacked creator, suddenly not as distraught as she was prior. " Must...act? Must rip...apart. Umm..." Her brow furrowed, lips pouting in concentration. " Make...them... scared? No, not scared, uh.... afraid...? Oh! Must destroy them all!" ...Why did she know that one better than any so far? Oh, Amrita. "Oh, I get it!" She sniffled, finally letting go of the Sorcerer to nod to Christof. "O-Okay! For our friends, right?" Her eye narrowed. For Lizzy, for everyone else who had perished so far, or had been hurt by these... humans. "Want me to try and yell again? I probably could...Unless you wanted to make the noise? I...I can translate!" She said as though she hadn't been already. She didn't want to public speak anymore, but for Christof she could! "Oh, and, um, Hi." The Vetala murmured to Lattice, waving her fingers.

"Thank you..." Natalia murmured, smiling half-heartedly at Savior's efforts. She couldn't shake the tears just as she couldn't shake the pain, but she bit down hard on her lip with a single nod of her head in gratitude.
And then she saw it. The glimmer of hope in his eyes...and what he said, however baffling, sparked light in her solemn face. "Did that really happen?!" She replied, brows lifting, tail curling high against her back. Perhaps they were somewhere else...not dead, just...waiting. "What happened on the last trip?! I...I was unable to attend." While stories of the previous field-trip were horrifying, Natalia couldn't say she didn't regret not staying on board the boat. Things had happened to both Whisper, Renaissance, and so many others...
Things that changed them indefinitely. "She would need the pills, unless you know someone who can heal?..." Looking to Savior, she continued. "I can hold you until then."
Shifting her position, pulling Savior closer as a result, Natalia offered the oncoming ghoul a quiet hello before giving Tybalt her full attention. She still wanted to know what he thought...what he may know...
