Sokar chuckled " I guess that is a good thing, it will make Khen happy also as he needed someone to talk to rather the others who know nothing or have no intrest in our home country." He said as he sighed, keeping close to the demon hybrid "I just want to get out of here, the doctor said i should only have to be in for a few days tops, the injuries I have are bad. B he said I didnt really have to stay here while I heal, I can easily rest and heal at home so I just will be out of here soon thank god unless something goes wrong which I doubt" he said to the other as he kissed his temple.
((And now I go, Im going shopping with a friend before she leaves to go over to England for a while. Back in a few hours.))

Darin nods, placing a kiss on Sokar's temple in return. "At least it's nothing life threating." he smiles softly, resting his head against the other, "If you want, I could probably get Endra to heal the wounds for you." he comments softly, even if the coon refused now, the offer would stand for a while. None of the injuries seemed too bad, so the healer may be able to fix them all up without a problem.

Sokar smiled and nuzzled the other a little "thank you but I dont want to put him out, I have a healer also at the Estate who could also help but I just will let them heal natrually. Though I must admit that I dont mind them doing it as such its just that besides not wanting to put them out I have always believed in herbs and the like to heal my wounds.
For you see, we never had drugs and the like back in the old days or if we did have what one would concider a 'drug' or 'remedy' it would usually be at a price. Though I had the money obviously I just decided to heal my self the natrual way as I knew what was in it and knew what I was taking and everything.
It wasnt that I didnt trust the healers that made the drugs its just that I would rather put stuff into my body that I know about and whats in it and what not. So now, I have these healers who can heal in seconds what I have taught myself and read about that it is better to heal things over time then just the fast aproch like these healers can do.:
He said to the other, knowing that he could get home and make himself an hearble face mask which would help cleanse the skin and help heal the wounds and another herbal remedy that wuould help with the pain and everything. "Thank you for offering sweetheart but I just would rather take the natrual way of doing things" he said as he kissed the demon hybrid tenderly.

Darin nods softly, "Alright then. Just so long as you heal I'm fine with whatever you do, love." he shuffles his wings and flicks his tail, returning the tender kiss as if he was scared to hurt the coon. He really was, especially since he really cared about Sokar.

Sokar sighed softly "I will heal, dont worry, if I can get through learning to be a soldier as a child then I can heal from this, nothing beats being cut deeply with one of our old 'swords'. Granted mom and dad didnt think a prince should be training with the others but still, it was fun" he said to the other as he silently wished his parents were with him now.

Darin chuckles slightly, picking up a tiny trace of sorrow. He tilts his head, looking at Sokar. "You miss them, don't you?" He brushes a strand of the coons long hair out of his face, still looking in his eyes.

Sokar nodded softly "yeah, I do" he said as he closed his eyes to blink back the tears and then opened them again. "I guess its just one of those things that you never truely get over, its taken me a few thousand years and im still not over it" he said with a sigh as he rested his head on the demons shoulder.

"I dont want the gap filled and you wont ever be able to fill it" he said in a little bit of a rude way "im sorry" he sighed "but unless you truely know what its like to lose a parent you wont ever know what its like to be like this. Noone could fill this gap, noone could ever fill the gap that your parents one filled no matter how hard they tried, there will always be that void and I just dont want you to try and fill it as it wont ever work" he said to the other, hoping he understood.

The hybrid chuckles softly, smiling tenderly, "Then could I at least fill it up partially? I may not know what it's like to loose a parent, but I have an idea." he tilts his head, "I rarely ever see my mother, and I don't live in the main house anymore where my father lives, and since I had a fight with my dad recently, I don't talk to him anymore." he shrugs softly. "Plus many of my housemates are a few centurys' old, James, who was once a ghost but somehow was able to become solid lost his mother to insanity and when he was a young boy lost his own life to his brothers jealousy." he sighs and frowns a little.
"His own twin killed him because James was older and thier father was dying. James was to become King as soon as the old king died. But Thomas didn't like that Idea and poisoned his brother. James got him later for it by haunting him until his twin snapped and claimed guilty. He only saw his brothers spirit once, and that was when the Royal Guard found him in his room asleep in bed. Turns out the younger prince had poisoned himself from insanity. The king got better and had more kids though, and as far as James is concerened, he wants to stay here with his own new family."
Darin smiles softly at the coon, "Though I know your family loss is way more....hurtful since a war took them and not a jealous brother, I have a slight idea on what it's like to be without your family forever." he wraps his arms around Sokar and pulls him close, gently as ever still, to his chest, nuzzling the top of the coons head, "I have nightmares at night when there is nothing but me in pure darkness, I don't want that to happen so I turn to thinking of you and the dark fades, leaving a brilliant light that makes' me feel very happy." he sighs softly, "I want to bring some light into your life as you have to mine, Sokar, at least let me do that."

Sokar listened and stroaked the others hair, realising that maybe having an idea of how he must feel would be better then nothing and it was sweet of him to be caring so much. "I will let you though please, promise me to make up with your father? You dont truely know how much you will regret something happening to him if it does. Life is far to short, granted im immortal in a way but still my parents wernt and they died so please, make up with your father? I dont want you losing him as it really is the worst think a person can lose." He said as he sighed, not wanting the demoin hybrid to lose his parents, no matter how that came about.

"Dad takes a few days to cool off after a fight. He's pure blood demon and would still be pretty mean if mom hadn't met him." he chuckles, "But I promise I'll make it up to him. I just have to steer clear of him for a bit until he gives me a call to talk." He vaugly rememembers the last time they had fought when he tried to apologize early. The younger version of Darin had gotten a book thrown at him while he was trying to escape his fathers wrath. And it wasn't a small one either, nor paperback. He smiles and shakes his head, remembering how evil his dad had looked then how sorry the fatherly figure felt after hurting his son. Deamon had picked the youth up and scrambled to Endra for help, crying the whole time. Darin just lay in his fathers arms in a daze, trying to figure out what had just happened.

Sokar smiled " ok then" he said as he kissed the other softly as he stiffled a yawn. "I might have a nap, care to stay with me or will you go and come back or what?" He asked the other, he would like him to stay but it was up to him what to do but he did need a nap since the pain was getting to him./

Sokar gave his boyfriend one last hug and kiss and snuggled down under the blankets. "Thank you" he said to other as he closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep, not able to keep his eyes open any longer.
