Well, I'd have called it a soccer ball, but then I'd have most of Wales, all of Italy and all of Germany out to kill me. Violently as savagely.
Football in Canada or the United States is an entirely different game, so I didn't want it confused with that.

I've never even been off of North America sad The farthest from home I've been is the Pacific Ocean over in Western Canada or down to the Mexican Border in Arizona.

The farthest I've been outside of California is the northern part of Oregon. Apparently I've been to Reno too, but I wasn't even a year old, so I don't remember.

Hmmm, well I have been some places but I got really lucky I guess. I had a bf from England so we went there. My dad lives in Thailand so I went there and then from there to Nepal which was very cool. But I don't think I would have gone to those places on my own. Never been to Canada but the current bf wants to go to Toronto so we may well do that this year. I will have to get a passport though since mine expired.

umaeril I have been to Wales. It was soooooo pretty there! I thought it was just about the prettiest place I had ever been. Wales is a nice looking place. It's just a pity so many people love sheep there. Here's a joke. What do you call a sheep tied to a lamp-post in Cardiff? A leisure centre! BADUM-PSHH!

But yeah, it was in spring when I went. There was this one meadow, covered in blue flowers, just extraordinary! And true, there were sheep wherever we went.

And Jer, you should call soccer Football, and Football in North America as American Football. Or you can even call true football as Association Football, and fake football as American Football.
In all honesty, Association Football makes more sense. You kick the ball. You make contact with the ball using your feet the majority of the time.
American Football? You kick it once at the start of the game/half, twice after a touchdown, or once for a punt. That's it. The feet never touch the ball otherwise. The only reason I can think of for American Football to be called Football is the ball size might be a footlong. Or maybe American Football originated from Rugby which might have been called Football, or something, I don't know the history of Football. Point is, American Football being called Football and forcing true Football to change to Soccer doesn't make sense since Association Football has been around a lot longer.

lol, my mom's fiance, who is originally from England, hates Wales. The reason he gave me however was that everyone there had one leg too short from all the hills. O_o lmao
