Tika remained perfectly still, his only movement being his breathing. As Maelthra jumped, Tika leapt upwards, the kick grazing his foot as he tucked it under his body, easily seven feet in the air. As he landed, he crouched low, then sprang forwards, attempting to grapple Maelthra to the ground.
It was at that moment Crim's fireball went off. His body ended up passing straight through Maelthra as the atoms were broken apart into an invisible cloud. He reappeared some few feet of Crim.
"Yeah?" He saw Ella, and his mouth instantly dropped open. He babbled confusedly to himself for a second, then grinned. "Hey, 'sup Ella!?"

Shawn, having had no luck searching anywhere, opened up his mind. Clearing his thoughts, he telepathically broadcast a message to every member of the mafia within range.
Where is the loot from the heist?

Ella smiled back broadly, stepping forward to shake Tika's hand enthusiastically. "I'll make no pretense. The orb lead me here."

*Crim eyebrow rose. So these two did know each other...but how? Her lips formed into somewhat of a scowl as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. God, did that woman have nerve! Shaking Oxy's hand like that...
Catching herself in bitter thoughts, Crim's expression changed into somehwhat of a confused one and then one of embarrassment. Quickly spinning around so that her blush couldn't be seen, she stooped down to pretend like she was fixing her boot. Since when did get jealous over something like that?*

Tika adopted a puzzled look. He retreived his hand from Ella's grip, shaking it slightly to get the blood flow going again.
"May I see the device?"

Ella nodded, slinging the sack from her from her shoulder. The axe swung wildly past Tika's nose, leaving him somewhat dazed.
She took the orb from the sack, and handed it to Tika.
"There. It just shows this mansion. Your friend" Ella indicated Crimson "Recognised it and agreed to lead me here."

As he took it, he instantly held it flat on his palm. Sure enough, as he took away his hand the orb remained in the air, then began to spin upon several axes (as in plural of "axis"). As the insides began to swirl around as though being red ink, a large rush of light erupted from the sphere. It portrayed, in very great detail, the manion upon which they now stood, and if one looked closely enough, they could see a tiny holographic projection being emitted from the top of the red image of the mansion before them.
"Well. We know it definitely displays things as they are now, and not as they were when the sphere was made. That's some decent magic at work behind it."
He looked at the display for a few more brief seconds, then nodded gently. "And it's not displaying a new place, meaning you have to go somewhere within this mansion, or at least perform some task."

Ella took the orb from where it hung, and the holographic projection was instantly disabled. She held the object in her hand looked at it for a while. She said, with just a hint of disappontment in her voice
"I've never had to do anything before. And I have no idea what I should be doing now."

He shrugged. A simple gesture to indicate he knew nothing.
"Well if you like, we have plenty of well furnished rooms, one of which you could occupy. But I have to tell you that this" Tika waved to the mansion below, the members around, and the grounds "is a mafia. It just sort of... fell into my lap. I apologise also, I was just testing a new recruit. Crimson here could show you around though."
He turned to Crimson, smiling and winking. "Don't worry love. She's no threat at all. If you could show her all around the place that'd be great. See to it that she sees the whole place, underground too."
He quickly embraced Crimson, kissing her cheek softly.
"And I have a recruit to wear out..."

*Crim had been listening during the conversation, idly fidgeting with her boot until she heard Oxy mention her name. Upon being addressed, she quickly stood up, almost as if to look like she hadn't been doing anything conspicuous, but it was then that she was seized and kissed. She blushed even brighter than she ever had before, her scarlet bangs barely being distinguishable from her face even. What should she do? How should she respond?
With that she just simply stared at her feet, nodding vigorously out of embarassment. She didn't trust her voice enough to speak, but at the same time that she was so incredibly embarrassed, she was also flattered. Dammit, why didn't these relationship things ever come with a manual?
Quickly turning towards the door leading back inside the mansion, Crim beckoned for Ella to follow*

Ella followed Crimson obediently. Once they were inside, out of Tika's earshot -tough thing to pull off-, she spoke quietly.
"So you and Tika are... involved?"

*Crim stumbled on the stair she was on, but regained what composure she had left. Her voice seemed stuck in her throat for a moment, and until she found it, she simply nodded her head*

OoC Mael, remember that this all happened very quickly. Tika's back in the fight now. "So may I see a room first? I would love to get this thing off my back, so long as it's in a safe environment. And I trust any residence Tika is in, and anyone he knows, to be safe."

As Oxy starts walking back, He takes up the defenceive stance again, waiting for Oxy to strike.
