Tom is with other brothers in the mall engaging super mutants in the trenches between the Washington monument and the Capital building, emptying the 30 round magazine in his Thompson submachine gun into a super mutant having it barely flinch as the 45 caliber rounds rip through his chest. The mutant in return swings his super sledge at his chest denting his armor and knocking Tom unconscious. As the mutant brings the hammer up to crush my head a paladin shoots a rocket at and blows the mutant to a bloody pulp.

Initiate [DATA CORRUPTED]
27.6 Miles Away from Brotherhood Base
Sitting and Staring (At the Stars...)

"Pheww...It's so cold at nights."

He said. His hair brushed against his back, but he was forced to huddle close to his motorcycle. The cold was deathly. He couldn't do anything against it...but he did know what to do to prevent it.

One year. He had counted the hours, the days the weeks and then the months, since he had left the Brotherhood. One year...give or take a month or two. He wasn't quite sure.

Music buzzed in his ear. A strange little device, the one he found. The back read 'Apple'. What in the hell was Apple? Some sort of brainwashing device, because the music that buzzed was usually shitty. In fact, the only reason that any of it was good was because he hacked and old Pre-war computer and found a lot of...rock, was it called back then? Or alternative? Aren't those the names of: a). An object found on the ground, and then b). Some sort of other option? The people of the those days made no sense.

But the music he liked. Bands called Coldplay, and The Beatles made his world bright. The Who and Led Zepplin, or Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, or Tears for Fears and Owl City...or hell, even Metallica and I Once Wrestled a Bear were all good to listen to.

However, that's not why he was here. He was here debating whether or not he should camp in front of the feral ghoul home, or if he should drive to the Brotherhood camp. Officially, he was a member, but...when he had left, he left in with his curse in full affect. He had not left a good image, and he had spent this one year in order to change that fact. One year of fights. One year of suffering. One year of eradicating the Enclave. And one year, discovering the meaning of Nirvana. A band from Seattle in the 1980's, partially responsible for starting a 'grunge' (whatever the ******** that meant) revolution, or something else? He didn't know, but it felt good to feel that he was understaning it more and more each living moment.

"Well...a year has gone. Why the ******** shouldn't I go back?" He thought to himself, and then smiled. The lyrics to Strawberry Swing, by Coldplay danced in his ear.

'It's such a beautiful day', Chris Martin sang as his motorcycle started up and then drove into the distance. Initiate Konchomai was ready to re-join his brothers and sisters in the Brotherhood. He was happy cause he knew...

"It's such a beautiful day."
