xd Seriously... Microsoft Paint, under use of a trained professional, can create beautiful things... ^^ Yes, believe me... You must train yourself to use it. It is a b***h if you don't.

And you use PNGs, too... Best graphical filetype. Ever.
Seriously, I thought I was one of the only people who knew the true power of MS Paint. I use it for almost everything graphical, unless I need to do something fancy-looking real quickly. And even then, I usually do the part I need in another program, then copy/paste it over to Paint.
