Katrina shook his hand, "So, Jeff," She said turning to him, "I'm assuming you've been keeping tabs on my kid."
"Hey!" Kyle piped up from behind Holly. "I'm not a kid!"
"Kyle, you were 8 last time I saw you, and you will always be your mommies little boy." Katrina smiled at him. "I want to thank you for getting Mr. Chomps here to get me out. And for making sure My baby boy doesn't do something stupid." She had turned back to Jeff.

Katrina rolled her eyes at the two. Jeff laughed. "They've been like this all morning, its rather irritating isn't it?" Katrina nodded. "So whats the deal here, how are you guys here without being forced into labor for scum bags?"

Yakov shrugged. "My family members are new here. They tried to kill my sister for being black and we basically stayed low after that."

Katrina mumbled, "Both, damnit." Katrina plopped down on the couch in the living room and rubbed her temples. Jon sat next to her and rubbed her shoulders while Kyle leaned against Holly.

Jeff giggled, "Well at least Kat should be asleep for another hour or two, and that crazy never leaves her side while she sleeps," Jeff shook his head. His house, his life was just full of people now. And he loved it.
