Holly smiled. "Then put it away."
~~~~~~
Yakov stood up. "Can I interest anyone in a refreshment of some sort while we wait?"
"I did." Kyle grumbled.
-----
Katrina shrugged, "Water is just fine with me." Jon nodded. "Same" Jeff shrugged as well. "I'm fine!"
"If you don't quit pouting, I'm going to deeply embarrass you in front of your mother."
~~~~~~
Yakov got up and wandered into the kitchen. He took a few seconds to be alone in the kitchen. He loved having company over, but he was still a little worked up over the latest Jeff scare and he really wanted Jeff all to himself.

Holly looked shook. "Believe? Surely you know me better than that."
~~~~~~
There were two short knocks on the door and then Luka walked into the living room.
Yakov came back in with a pitcher of water some glasses. He set them on the coffee table and looked up at Luka. "I'll get you a beer." He disappeared again.
Jeff looked quizzically as Yakov disappeared out of the room. He nodded at Luka. "Luka, I'd like you to meet Katrina Anderson. Kyle's mother."
"Kyle honey, how old are you?" Katrina asked him without hesitation. "18 Mom." He called back. "About 7 and a half years I was held. I am not a hundred percent sure where. They spent about two years keeping me in a room without almost zero light somewhere underground. Then when they had successfully convinced me that they could threaten me with my sons death they let me out on small 'missions' they called it. I was never close enough to the this city and for the most I just killed or kidnapped people I believe in neighboring towns."
Katrina wrinkled her brow. "I tried not to remember. At first the faces haunted me but then if I just pretended it didn't happen it was all good. But I'm pretty sure at least some of them were other weres. Most of them seemed like paranormal creatures. A few vampires and what not. But they seemed to know it was coming. I think they all worked for the same thing that was sending me out to kill them. They had warn out their usefulness and it was time to dispose of them."
