"That is kind," Arlenae said as she smiles, looking at Corbin. "It might take a long time to get there to my reef because I stick to the shores because I don't like the deep waters, no food there and there are many dangers in open waters."

Corbin tilted his head and smiled, "It sounds like it will be just as fun getting there. I usually don't swim along the shores as much." He slipped down from the rocks and into the water, flipping his head up, "I have nothing more to do. Did you have something to take care of first?" He asked, eager for another adventure.

Arlenae laughed as she gathered her items and put them back where they originally belong, in her brown tattered bag; then she slided into the water, smiling at Corbin. "Follow me!" she said excitedly, then swum south of the island's coast.

The merman smiled and dove into the sea, his powerful tail flipping behind him, fins swaying in the currents. He let out a joyous sound that echoed through the waters, singing out in happiness. His sound filled any listener's chest with joy and excitement, and Corbin spun through the water, swimming in circles around Arlenae and grinning.

Arlenae laughed under the water as she watched Corbin do spins around her in circles. She torpedoes through the water fast, using her fin to adjust for every motion her upper body had made. She turned around and did a teasing motion at Corbin as if to challenge him, then propel through the waters.

Corbin's grin widened and he chirped in a sort of laugh and pumped his tail harder, increasing his speed as he rocketed through the bubble trail left behind by the mermaid. He hadn't played like this since he was little, and it filled him with joy. Dolphins were always fun, but to actually play with one of his own kind was exilerating! He chirped loudly again, giving an echoing joyous cry as he came up beside Arlenae, smirking over at her to show his joy.

Arlenae shrieked as she giggled, seeing Corbin caught up to her about a couple miless away from where they originally began. This had thrilled her; never before did she had a companion to accompany her on her way back to her home for the winter. She looked around and sighed happily, the light that went through the waters haad reflected off nearby corals in prismic waves of color. She gasp and looked at Corbin, pointing to many, she then swum a bit deeper where it was still light and giggled, chased after a rainbow fish. "Such a cutie," she wiggled its fin.

Corbin smiled, the light glittering in the waters around them, a mix of rainbows and reds and blues from the two mer. He swam around and darted through a school of shimmering fish, sending them fleeing in a large wave and swooping back towards his new friend's side. "I love the ocean. It's always so pretty." He said, "That's why I love to sing. It all is just soo..." He giggled and swooped around Arlenae, "INPIRING!" He chirped loudly, laughing.

Arlenae giggled as she shook her head at Corbin; then peers around. "Corbin..!!" she squeals, then broke through aa school of tuna fishes, heading to the seashells she saw earlier.

The merman smiled and swam leisurely after the Arlenae, smiling as he saw the seashells, "Wow, these are beautiful." He swooped down and lightly fingered the coral, loving the colors. "Oh...perhaps I could make a new flute..." He murmered.

Arlenae just smiled at Corbin as she fingered some of the corals, giggling aat their sucking reflexes. She knew some of these corals are home to various sea creatures around the area, and are creatures themselves. She propel upward then went straight fast. "Hurry Corbin!!" she shrieked, then giggled.

Corbin smiled, shooting upwards after the mermaid, "Hey!" He flicked his tail, hair and fins swaying behind him as he barreled through the waves, "Wait up!" He shouted, grazing his fingers over a huge manta ray as he passed it.

"Bet I can get to that rock faster than you!" Arlenae shouted out a challenge towards Corbin, not really caring if she won or not. She just propel forward, using her fans to adjust her speed and direction.

With a chuckle, the merman jetted after Arlenae, upper body streamlined as his tail moved swiftly, catching up to the red tail. He smiled as they passed the rock, "Ohh, you won!" He laughed, touching her arm playfully. "So how far is it?" he asked.

"My home is a 3 day travel if you don't stop," Arlenae said as she looked at Corbin. "But I know a short cut that cuts it in half but it requires going over deep waters for 3 clicks," she said, giggling as she moved forward.
