Solio smiled to her Queen, soft blue eyes darting hasitly over toward her brother and Pastel. Nodding once, they quickly dragged the kill into the pridelands, and under the Acaica tree. Dropping it, Solio turned to Elli once more.
"Yes. My poor brother doesn't quite know how to handle love-struck lionesses yet."
She chuckled softly, but was quickly silenced by the sight of another lioness padding into view.
"Hurry. We must go get Pastel so Rackna may greet this new lioness."
And with that she set off, slinking back out of the Elephant grass.

Elli watched the newcommer for a moment before darting after Solio, head held high. She nosed Rackna and purred softly.
"If my king will permit me, I and Solio would speak to young Pastel... For there is an intruder here that you should deal with." She murmured.
Her sharp ears listened for the padding of paws. "A bold new lioness."

Rackna flakes quivered as Solio and Elli approached, and he turned to face them. Smiling softly, he rubbed against Elli lovingly, then darted off to greet the newcomer, thankful to not have to deal with a lovesick lioness.

Rackna padded closer, his different colored eyes taking in this teal-hued female. not the friendliest looking, but looks may be deceiving? He thought as he stopped a few paces away. He bowed his head in greeting.
"Good day. What brings you to my pridelands today?"
He asked her calmly.

*She responded in a cool manner;* Driven from my domain by pirates that climbed the mountains, I crossed the desert to find a new abode,... *her responce was slightly riddled, but truthful*

"Pirates, you say? Villans of the seven seas, stealing a mountain instead of gold?"
The ruby-hued king chuckled softly, cocking an eyebrow at her statement.
"You cross the desert in hopes of a home?"
He extended a paw toward the Elephant grass.
"I would never cast you away, nor anyone. Please, come and rest, for now, if not forever."

*She nods* I'm not fond of the desert sand storms, so I came for the next closest form of land I could come to. *she shrugged* Just so happens it was your lands I came upon. By the by,..I am Wategra.

A deep chuckle escaped Rackna as she metioned sand storms.
"I don't know many who are. And I am Rackna."
He nodded, then turned toward his pridelands and looked back at her, wondering if she would follow.

hn. *She stood as Rackna headed to his home. She was visably thin around the stomach, but the rest of her was muscular, the image of a warrior used to the sport of fighting and causing riff-raff. Only time would tell how she would fit into the pride,...*

Rackna knew not what to think of Wategra. She seemed a little moody, quieter, he guessed, yet she spoke boldly in riddle. He simply shrugged off the bit of worry that nagged him and paced slowly into the Elephant grass, glancing back to see Wategra following he hoped.
"You coming?"

He chuckled, facing foreward again as he swiftly danced through the sharp grasses that surrounded him home.

The grass ended abruptly, leading to a wide, sandy opening, empty except for the river that came just into the boarder and the large Acacia tree.
