"I don't do what I do because I want recognition-"

A blink-and then Arian's head tilted back, a scowl aimed at Vince. He got the faint vanilla scent back, but the rose perfume was still over there, rather strong.

"You want me to break you up more?" She threatened, elbow coming up to strike him-though at a much lessoned strength, he might note-than she could have exerted. She'd hit him in the gut all the same, but she was more pushing him off than she was anything.

She started to look back down again.

He was PROTECTING some crazy little-POW!

Arian's head snapped back into Vince with a curse, the fist of the woman-with a RING-striking Arian's right cheek-the blonde apparantly not some weak female.

Arian was cursing in Courtelli as she snapped her head back down, both her small hands pulling at Vince's arm, kicking out at the woman-who stepped backwards with her long stride, safely out of the smaller woman's reach.

"Well!" The Blonde said, wide eyed-as if surprised she had gotten to do that, and shocked. "You hurt me!" She had better get out of here. The little fiery woman was scary-and she was interrupting other fighter's rests.

Vincent basically roared the command into the other room as he struggled against the furious outlaw. Basically, she was struggling to get out of his grasp so she could rip the crazy fan-girl a new one. Vince was struggling to hold the crazy woman to give the girl a chance to live, and Arian was hell bent on elbowing him in the stomach. Needless to say, all of this was going rather badly. She hadn't really hurt him, just caused an 'oof' as her elbow collided with his layer upon layer of muscle.

Then, of course, the crazy blonde b***h decided 'Hey, lets go ahead and hit a restrained female.' The restrained female which had Vince's heart even though she either didn't know it or refused to acknowledge it. So the events that quickly followed went as the following. Vince quickly, and I mean rapidly, mumbled out of the side of his mouth, and when he was done, he let go of Arian. Half a second later, three glowing yellow rings appeared around Arian but did not squeeze. Instead, they magically held her in place and would do so for roughly twenty seconds: It wouldn't take Vince that long to get rid of the problem.

Having released Arian and stepped around her, his left hand came up and pushed forward. From his palm, a massive fire storm extended, blasting outwards at the female in the shape of well.. A dragon. It was so sudden, so unexpected, how could the female possibly hope to survive something so crazy? Vince had no idea, and at this point, he didn't care. Fire also burned in his eyes; fire that had shown in the Dark Tournament when Vince and Arian almost killed one another.

Fire that showed great passion within. Something that not many people seen from the dragon.

...Fine then. Let them beat each other up; they'd be at a disadvantage in round 2. Esouna would have rolled her eyes, but they were closed. Instead, she just fumbled for her bottle and started drinking from it again, hoping that their random combat wouldn't get anywhere close to her--the fairy was too weak to defend herself well.

Spyke had heard everything going on and he had finally become sick of it. He'd been open to his powers for a long time and as long as he wasn't standing in some tournament arena with a clock ticking he was allowed to use them all. He'd charged enough energy and risen about the time the women began fighting. "I'll be right back Ms. Arks."

He exited his room and walked down the hall a few rooms before turning as the half-dragon released his rage a cloud of steam would fill the air. A window would open and an unnatural breeze would blow the steam out. Water covered the floor as a obviously wet wall of ice existed between the nurse and the half dragon. As the ice dispersed along with the water, and by dispersed exited via the window, Spyke would come into view. The monk his normal self. 6'2" wearing a black gi with blood red gems in various places. Everyone that could see would notice his eyes were glowing and seeping some kind of white energy.

"Nurse get out......NOW!" She didn't protest. Who would? Dragon fire had almost consumed her. She'd faced death, naturally she ran. Spyke ignored her though. He focused on the man before him who was obviously needing to recover and judging from his eyes extremely emotional in a territorial sense. "Back in bed before I put you there........please." Spyke was agitated but he was a monk after all he needed to attempt to be courteous. He turn to face the fairy whose cries had produced Spyke in the first place.

"I'm sorry miss. Had I known earlier I'd have tried assisting sooner. Please let me help you." That was all he said. He didn't wait for a response he raised his hands and the bed she was in transformed, albeit by absorbing the floors makings and another hospital bed, into the most comfortable actual bed he could create in his condition. On top of that her bottle became an actual cup of sorts. It had a removable lid with an adjustable straw instead. Finally on her behalf he expended energy he knew he shouldn't have to reattach her wings. It wasn't perfect and she'd need to heal naturally but moving wouldn't be so bad and she'd probably be able to manage a sitting position.

He turned back to the dragon and his associate. "I understand that you are having a troublesome time with the staff. I appreciate the need to be left in peace. I however, will not condone the attacking of a nurse or the obvious lack of courtesy to the rest of the patients here. Please I implore you stay calm and under control?" He had been perfectly respectful and civil in the last. Nothing to denote anything other than a want for peace could possibly be found in his address to the two of them.

He'd hardly finished though when his exertions took an effect. His concussion threatened him. The blackness consumed his vision everything became blurry. He stumbled backwards into the hallway and at the last moment pitched forward onto his knees. He'd caught himself with an arm his senses were all but gone though. His conscious state was hanging by a thread. Still he fought it and managed to stay conscious although he was kneeling in front of people that had just been very angry and he couldn't actually see anything but a blur. He could be very screwed indeed.

HyruleKnightLink

"Hey! Listen!"
Cocking his chin and gazing at his fairy with an expression of mild curiosity, Link would cautiously peel layers of clothing off of his body one he dropped the sheathed Master Sword on a bed along with his damaged shield. Sitting, Link would untie the knots of his leather gloves before absently setting them aside to pluck pieces of his ruined tunic from his body. The green tatters hit the floor by his feet followed suite by the long-sleeved white shirt he wore beneath, thus revealing his form for all to witness. Curling his right arm in his lap, eyes of the lightest blue would regard the blotch of yellow skin on his forearm right above his wrist. Touching it gingerly with his bare finger tips, Link would sigh and shut his eyes before leaning over and taking in a deep breath to compose himself. His face was still flushed from the intense heat of Leinhart's explosion while his hearing yet still remained impaired. That, ontop of the minor aches and pains throughout his body, made Link feel as if he could sleep for a fortnight.

Unfortunately, he would only be given a few days to rest. Generally soft spoken, Link would proceed to call one of the important looking doctors his way. If none responded, then Link would grab the attention of a nurse and proceed to show her his arm and reddened face/crisped hair.

"Liiiiink!"

A very familiar country-like voice would shout into the room as a red headed teenager rushed in and immediately leaped onto the bed, grasping around Link's neck as she hugged tight to him with extreme pressure. Whether he would recover from the sudden surprise or not, the girl pulled away to reveal it was Malon, the bubbly girl from Lon Lon Ranch. Many questions would arise as to HOW she got here from all the way from Hyrule.

"After I followed some directions, I knew I would find you here!" She was currently in a nurse's outfit, having decided to work as a nurse in order to get closer to her best friend.

"How are you feeling? I hope they didn't mess you up too much." Malon took her finger and started to flick at random places, just to see how he react in order to guess where he was hurting.

==========================

Meanwhile, over at the quarters of Vincent...

The nurses and some of the doctors were surprised by the sudden commotion in the rooms. They looked on, not knowing how to deal with these people, considering they were fighters to begin with. Neither had an idea of what to do until...

FRRWWWWSH!!!

A blaze of fire erupted itself through the room's window, blasting it open as glass shattered to the floor. A lone figure dashed through the new opened, tumbling before standing himself up. His red spiky hair was rushing down his head in a fallen medium length behind the shoulders. His narrow-shaped eyes looked upon each individual, upside-down red triangles under each eye. A snarl present on his face, each hand kept a grip of a pair of chakram with four spikes equally spaced on the circular discs.

"Settle down," he said to them all in a nonchalant manner. "No need to cause a disturbance in a peaceful hospital."

To them, he could easily be just another fighter, so they wouldn't really know that he was official security unless they spotted the badge on the right breast of his ebony attire. But they would realize the other figure who just appeared at the entrance of the room.

Midus Sonners. He stood there with his hands in his pockets, holding a pleasant expression on his face as he stared in at the patients. His attire was luxuriously white, with the shoulders and button linings colored gold. But with such clothing, the muscles of his body bulged against the cloth. Nothing too extravagant, but not something to underestimate either.

"The second round isn't that long away and already I can see you all are ready to fight," came his rumbling voice that fit his demeanor. Rough as his body's shape, but as delicate as that blond hair that rolled down his head. He wasn't angry at them. In fact, he liked the idea of them being impatient, ready to get themselves back into the ring. "But just hold yourselves out for another couple of days. You'll soon get to battle again."

"I don't do what I do because I want recognition-"

"Don't YELL at people!" Big a*****e-wait. Whose side was Arian on here?

And then a bunch of chaos happened. And she-...she couldn't move. Arian was FURIOUS now. God damned-blasted-magic- "******** hell-" She hissed, struggling with the ******** rings-indeed, if they didn't magically stay up, she'd end up on her a** on the floor, cursing up a storm in Courtelli, though not shouting-perhaps in remembrance of the injured woman trying to sleep, perhaps because she was not yet at the point of yelling-

And then Vince decided to be a big bad a** and blast a wall of ******** fire at-fwoosh! Okay. This was getting too crazy for Arian-she was about to go violent crazy on EVERYBODY, God dammit.

What the?

The blonde woman was wide eyed and confused as some monk showed up, saving her a** and then ordering her out-"She's NOT a nurse!" Arian insisted in mild outrage-for Christ's sake, people were FALLING for that disguise?!

The blonde wasn't going to take orders, she was allowed to do her own thing, dammit-and Vince was really hot, right now. Dragon fire? Seriously?

(Axel's)? entrance into the place startled the blonde lady-but not as much as the sight of Arian popping to her feet, no longer bound in rings-and turning her vibrantly colored, Caribbean blue eyes to the false nurse once more, no less fiery-as she wiped her hand over the scratch on her cheek from the b***h's ring.

"Yeah-so-okay-see-you-later-bye." The blonde tossed to Vince, skittering out of the room full speed-hopping over the monk-who now had Arian's attention.

She had given (Axel)? a funny look, pausing briefly. But he didn't recognize her. Perhaps...he was just a guy who looked similar? Hell, she didn't know. Didn't care. She WAS going to kill Vince though, dammit.

The foreign native seemed to ignore everyone but the downed monk-going to him first. Yeah-that might've been bad. Arian Lennox wasn't known for her...mental stability. The opposite, in fact-for her temper, her seeming insanity in dealing with tougher, bigger opponents.

But she didn't attack the monk. Ignoring Midnus, the Axel look alike or the actual Axel, Vince, and the fact the Blonde had fled-Arian would reach and take up the other arm of the monk, trying to pull him back to his feet-where she would support him and get his a** to a bed.

She still said nothing. She was really pissed off-but this man had stopped Vince's grossly overpowered attack and then turned about and helped the woman who was injured and who had been yelled at-so Arian was going to get him nice and secure, then maybe come back and see how quickly she could get thrown out of the tournament for killing Vince.

Or maybe that was a bad idea. Either way-the monk would find himself assisted, since he had been ignored by all else.

It was a pretty ******** up thing, when the only person in the room willing to help you was Arian LENNOX. I mean....come on.

Spyke couldn't see and didn't know what was going on. The only thing he was sure of was something exploded. Somewhere in his mind a message was sent to what consciousness he had. That message went something like this.

:So something is exploding right now.: Momentary pause. biggrin AMNIT thats what I was trying to avoid.: A normal person might have had a reaction like this. :I'M GOING TO DIE NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!:

So when someone or something helped him to stand he was almost shocked. The rising and moving actions brought the darkness back. It rushed in threateningly ever present due to the concussion. It didn't totally eclipse his vision though. Somehow he'd found himself on something softer than the floor and so Spyke mumbled a thank you to the best of his ability. It might have been slightly garbled though.

At that point he'd close his eyes and use passive energy to see what was going on. There were more people in the room. The window had been blown in. He couldn't make out colors really but he could tell features. Which is why Spyke became confused. Apparently Midus Sonners had blown in his own infirmary window. Kind of odd. That and Spyke had never really met the guy so the exchange should be interesting. He could still hear thankfully.

Finally, stuff was getting sorted out. On top of that, the random mediator/healer guy suddenly made the fairy's infirmary experience two or three times better--now she wasn't being treated like a baby. Instead of a carriage, now she lay in a soft and generally very poofy bed, and the pain from her wing tears disappeared. Okay, maybe not totally. The fairy winced as she tried to sit up again, but she was able to do so. Ah. Weak blood flow to the brain was getting to her again, so Esouna relaxed and lay back down.

Since it sounded like everyone was still dealing with every problem in the world, Esouna lay still and didn't draw any more attention to herself, because any reason to get dragged into a possible fight was just retarded.

So much commotion in a place of rest... The blacksmith couldn't concern herself with such things. She knew that the best thing to do after her match was to rest up and leave the excitement to those about who were enticed with such matters. Jurie would wave off Spyke with a twinkle in her eye as she awaited the medical staff to become less bothered so that they could attend to her broken ribs. Fortunately that's all she came away with... and such was fine so long as it didn't cheapen the experience for her next opponent.

If the medical staff did their job well enough she'd have no concerns, just so long as she could help others progress through these coming days in the tourney so that they may draw something new from the whole event.

The fighting; the arguing; the heated tempers - these were things Link didn't like to see when he was trying to rest, so he decided that it was in his best interest and welfare to gather up his belongings until..

"Liiiiink!"

Someone from the past decided to make him stay. Grimacing and giving an almost frantic, yet unbidden, yell, Link would reel away from Malon's hug which caused him greater discomfort than he was already feeling and proceeded to lift his hands to pry her from his body.

Having not yet noticed just exactly who it was, it would come to Link as a great surprise to see the milk-maid from Hyrule's borderline ranch set on his hospital bed. He would attempt to ask Malon just how in Time she got to the Dark Tournament; but his words would be silenced before utterance as she proceeded to flick random places upon his body. Unfortunately for Link, everything ached after Leinhart's techniques. Giving a weak chuckle and grabbing Malon's wrists in a ginger touch to stop her consistent flicks, Link would favor the milk-maid with a boyish yet hurting smile while he proceeded to push her hands towards her own body.

Enter Navi- Link's ever protective companion. The blue fairy made quick work at the task of flying between Link and Malon, wings-a-flutter in defense before Malon could do more harm to the Hero of Time. The Fairy didn't say much, but like Link, actions certainly spoke louder than words.

"Well, Alex, make sure everyone gets back to their proper rooms. As much as we encourage fighting in my event, I rather you don't trash the infirmary that we so generously offer." His voice seemed to drop in volume, as if to give them a warning. "After all, you don't want to have to go through three days without proper medical attention."

Turning around, he walked off, leaving his security associate to stay behind and cause his weapons to disappear in a fashionable show of flames. Waving his hands, he said to the people in the room: "If you guys are done with your arguing, everyone clear the area please. Either return to your rooms or leave back to your hotel rooms. That is all."

=======================

Malon looked on at the fairy, seeming to smile and giggle as she looked at Navi.

"Oh, Link, I see you still have your little fairy." She became more serious in expression as she gave her attention to her green-clothed friend. "But really, is this tournament really necessary? If you continue to get hurt like that, you'll..."

She didn't want to say it, as it was a possibility she didn't want to acknowledge. She didn't understand why he always went about trying to be this big hero, having no care for his own self.

"Don't you sometimes think about yourself, Link? You don't always need to do some justice. In fact, what justice can you possibly be trying to achieve here? Whose the bad guy?"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 03, 2009 9:16 pm

Leinhart only suffered minor damages, nothing too major that could possibly keep him from participating in his next fight. His body was soar, head ached from those nosebleeds, and his face was half-sizzled, still burning though not as inflamed and intense like in his match against Link.

Hopefully the judges liked his skill and technique best, then he could advance in the tournament with his first victory. The doctors of this hospital all ready had Leinhart cleaned and patched up for his next battle. His burnt face would heal in three days, tops. His headache was treated with pain killers and a bottle of whiskey he drew from his boot.

Laying on the mattress looking up, Leinhart stared into the plain wall of the cieling before, taking a nap. He needed to rest up and regain some of his energy.

"I don't do what I do because I want recognition-"

He swayed, and Arian's legs tensed-powerful yet feminine toned thighs and calves working to keep him up as her back and stomach tightened, hauling him off to another bed somewhere nearby.

"Shut up." Arian said to his word of thanks, not in any better of a mood than she was five minutes ago-and that in itself might have confused any onlookers. She was helping him, but angry about it?

Paradoxical woman.

She watched the blonde man walk off, saying something or other in English-while the Axel looking guy-no, Alex, was he...? What?-stayed behind.

Vibrantly colored blue eyes watched his flaming weapons a moment, briefly distracted as she curiously pondered them-and then the caribbean blue orbs flickered over Vince, who had not done much since the chaos.

Arian strode back into the room purposefully, snatching up her book with a mild scowl at the inhabitants-Vince and Alex and anyone else-and then she strode out again, her silent steps making no sound upon the tile in her cloth boots, Arian rapidly clearing the scene.

God only knows where the Native wandered off to. She seemed to cause alot of trouble, when riled-but she hadn't done anything more to anyone, so maybe there was no cause for worry.

Her explosive temper didn't set itself off, after all-left alone, Arian did just fine.

But she wanted her fight, dammit-the next opponent she faced would be unlucky, facing all the pent up anger and violent tendencies Arian didn't get to exert in her last 'fight'.

It ought to prove interesting, at the very least.
