See I don't know if there even is a name devoted to Panic Attacks, I know I do get them, when I was evaluated by a Psychologist they confirmed it must have been a Panic Attack from what I described.
So I hope not to sound notsmart by just saying "Panic Attacks (well I get them)"

I think there is a "Panic Disorder" which is frequent panic attacks. I don't know of a name for infrequent panic attacks, just that they sometimes occur as a symptom of anxiety and anxiety disorders. There is also Agorophobia, which is described as the fear of going out into open spaces, but generally the fear stems from a fear of being trapped in a situation where one may have a panic attack and not be able to get help.
I have had panic attacks due to a phobia, too, M is for M+Ms. Fortunately, it's not very severe, but when I feel I can't get out of an enclosed space, I begin to hyperventilate, which only increases my feelings of claustrophobia.

I've been diagnosed as so many things. Every doctor's diagnosis is different. I'm definitely bipolar and have severe OCD and an anxiety disorder, but they've also suggested schizophrenia, turrets syndrome and now I'm afraid I'll be labeled bulimic cause I've been throwing up half the stuff I eat. domokun It stinks. I wish I could just be seen as a person, not a diagnosis.

EDIT: I just had a re-evaluation of my psyche and the VUMC in Amsterdam believes I have a form of PDD (Pervasive Development Disorder), but they say the RIAGG in Rotterdam was wrong for saying it was NOS (Not Otherwise Specified). Instead, the VUMC says I'm definitely Autistic and could possibly have Asperger Syndrome, seeing as how I kind of score evenly on both disorders.
Well... heh.. just thought I'd edit my previous post.. heh.

shouldn't there be a multiple primary diagnoses option in the vote. Not everyone has a primary diagnoses, and then a lot of other diagnoses that branch off from that.
