Has anyone ever got a reply from any of the DeG members from fanmail? I'm just curious.
They're not allowed to reply.

Nor are just about any major label band.

It's what most dir en grey fans consider his real name, although I can't remember any definite evidence about it.

The other supposed "real" name is Dai. That's one of the others that I think I heard being passed around through the Japanese fanbase.

The only evidence of anything we have is that nobody really knows anything.

Isn't that always how it works with these things? We know what we are told but it's rarely true.

Is anyone else pissed that Dir en grey's new DVD Average Fury is 50$? I mean, I'm a huge fan, but I could buy precious CDs with more than ten songs on them for that price. The other DVD seems a bit more reasonable, but still...

You have enough money! Lower the prices!
PostPosted: Sat May 28, 2005 9:20 pm

The legitimate DVD from a major label band in Japan is ALWAYS around 5000yen, so that wouldn't surprise me in the least regardless of how limited the content is. confused

Final point: bands don't get most of their money from CD sales-- that's where the labels make their money. Go complain to whatever major label is using them as a cash cow and ask them to lower prices.

Wow, no ones posted in this topic for a while. I hope Dir En Grey didn't loose their Visual Kei to people!! I just downloaded the Saku PV and am x-fering it to a safe house computer ^_^, its gunna be sooo good heart heart heart

I wouldn't worry about them losing their fanbase. I absolutely love them. Though with their new album (WTD) they have begun to lessen their V-Kei image. People do have problems with that, but it all goes to show that they are more about their music than their image. I think it is heinous for a former fan to dislike them because of their change in style.
