Miharu was a bit confused, at first he was offered a position on the crew then it was as if they were angry that he was asked to join.
"If it bothers you that much then I'll just continue my travels I guess. Nice meeting you all." He said in a quiet tone as he began to walk towards town trying not to stare at the pirates.

Kale looked towards Miharu and frowned, "Well that's perfect." She yelled towards Ben and Jesbero. Getting up, she ran after the other. "Miharu wait!" She called out. "Don't go."

Miharu paused as he heard the slient one of the groups voice call after him. He slowly turned around and gave a look to her.
"The last thing a nakama needs is to fight. If my presence causes such fighting then I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for that's one more group of dreams which have crushed. Now if your captain truly wants me in your crew then I'll give my life for that ship over there but if I am nothing but a nuisance to him then there is no point in me being here is there?"

Kale frowned a bit and shook her head. "Listen it's not that you're a nuisance. More of.." She paused a moment and gave him a reassuring smile, "A surprise." She offered to him sweetly. "It's not your fault, he's upset..." She told him, "I think it's more of...the fact that he wasn't told about this, before you were invited." She shrugged sweetly.
"Anyway, it doesn't matter." She told him. "I think you'll make a great addition to our crew and Ben will let you know so, as soon as he calms down." She smiled and then pulled a small bag out of her purse, "Candy?" She offered with a large smile, seeming much happier. "Made it myself." She grinned proudly.

Miharu grinned at the womans kind words. It was amazing that humans even existed with such a trait...towards mermen at least. He then gave a quick glance in the captain named ben's direction. Miharu then began to think philosophically as he often did, reflecting on events and such. He then shook his head at the kind woman.
"I'll pass on the candy for now but it looks good." He said in a light tone.

She smiled at him and replaced the candy back in her purse and smiled at him. "It's nice to meet you by the way, I'm Kale." She offered. The girl had an infectious smile. She was always happy it seemed. Well, most of the time.
Stepping back; "And if you hadn't guessed, I'm the Chef here!" She puffed out proudly and then smiled, raising an eyebrow. "What do you do?" She questioned him, and then added; "If you don't mind my asking?".

Miharu was a bit off set by the amount of perkiness in one body but he found it rather amusing in a sense. Miharu gave a quick glance to his right arm before he answered her question.
"I'm a carpenter, good with any manual labor really. I actually built the raft I came here in from some spare wood in my village, kinda a hobby of mine....to change something for better." He gave a small chuckle towards the last part of his speech.
"Nice to meet you miss kale."

Kale giggled and clapped her hands together in an excited fashion, "A carpenter eh?" She smiled. "Well that's just dandy!" The way she said it, some might think she wasn't being sarcastic -- but if you knew Kale the tiniest bit, you'd know she didn't know what the word sarcastic meant.
"Well, I'm thrilled that you're going to join us." She nodded. Yes, Kale was the over-zealous type. It was obvious. "And...again, don't mind Ben and Jesbero; I think...maybe.." She leaned closer as to whisper. "Their in some kind of manly competition." She said as though it might have been some weird conspiracy.

Miharu couldn't help but smirk at her upbeat tempo. He then gave another glance to where ben and the jesbero was. He shook his head and returned his gaze to kale.
"Whats funny is your captain is the only one not perky to have me invited to the crew." He chuckled a bit.
"So where are you guys heading after this place?" He asked curious.

Kale frowned at the question and rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "I uhm...don't know." She replied shrugging. "Sorry." She laughed sadly. She smiled then, "Somewhere fun I hope!" She chirped.

Jesbero laughed as he heard Kale's and Miharu's conversation, and said," Not really a manly conversation, because in all honesty I'm the only man here." Jesbero laughed, and then said," Well Miharu you're a carpenter ehh. Well Artemis is my beautiful work it looked like a garbage when I got it, and now well she is as beautiful as a goddess." Jesbero then laughed a little, and said," Well although I like building ships I'm not really a big weapons person I normally leave all my tools to be used as tools and not as a weapon. Though it is ironic that I hate fighting with weapons, and yet this damn fruit turned me in a blade man." Jesbero laughed ,and then looked at Kale, and said," Well if anywhere we will be going next it's skypia."

Kale listened as Jesbero began talking. Turning to look at him, she put a hand on her hip, and raised an eyebrow. It made her itch the way the man could just ignore the Captain of the crew. "You know you should watch what you say, you might offend someone." She told him, a little harshly and then added; "And...it's not up to you where we go next, that's for the Ben to decide." Yes; Kale was perky most of the time, but she hated insubordination in rank.

Walking up to a small ship Unda messed with some rigging as the other people talked. Also, as he worked Unda would talk under his breath to himself. "Jasbero Crowley 110,000 bounty. Kale Denton 199,000 bounty. Perhaps later Ill come back and take them... who knows." Jumping on his ship Unda set sail, heading for north blue.
(NOT looking for a fight right now.)

Rednal calmly returned from Carmine Town, seeming unconcerned with the pirates in the area. Evidently satisfied with his work, he calmly stepped into his relatively small ship and set sail, heading for the Knock-up Stream.

Ben took a calming breath setting Jesbero's actions aside and looked at Miharu with a calming glare examing him from head to toe once over. "Hmm. A Hammerhead Shark fishman." He put his shades back on and walked over to Miharu and stood infront of him then smiled a little. "Looks like it's unamimous. Miharu, welcome to the Forte Pirates." He knudged him in the arm slightly. "Your my nakama and we don;t let each other down." He said in a completely friendly tone showing that he wasn't always such a hard neck.
