Usagioni That's why: the lyrics. Most of the time, I can't stand them. And it's the only type of music my school ever plays at dances and honor roll assemblies and such. It's all my sister allows me to listen to when we're in the car. I will admit, there are a few hip hop/ rap songs that I think are catchy, but in general, I just can't listen to it. Sorries. >< Most of what they play at dances is crunk. And just about everyone with a brain knows that most crunk is garbage. So I wouldn't judge a genre based solely on that. If you're willing to look for it, you can find a lot of tasteful, well-written hip-hop. Plus, most old school hip-hop is fantastic.

Hello, there :3 My name's Lyssa. I am a hugeeeeeeeeeeee sucker for acoustic music. It's terrible (but not really). Although, I assume most everyone else here is the same.
Anyone can win me over with musical talent, especially if it's with an acoustic. ;] Make friends?

Hello, I'm Linda. I love finding new music, my current addictions being a Portuguese folk singer by the name Marcos Rodrigues, and indie band The Motives. I own a classical guitar I have named Christofer, with much Sharpie writing on it.

Greetings. The name is Tia. I'm 44 and climbing. smile I am no longer part of a band. I play as I can when I can. I have MS and just recently had my right shoulder replaced and part of upper right arm. Long story. Anyway, I started playing musical instruments when I was about 2 yrs old. Or so I've been told.
These are the instruments I've played, or can play:
Steel Guitar, Old Folk Guitar, Bass, Cello, Dobro, Violin, Banjo, Ukulele, Clarinet, Flute, Harmonica, Tambourine, Keyboard, Piano, Organ, Steel Drums, Bongo Drums, Snare, and Ludwig/Timpani Drums.
Those I've played along side of or with are:
Charlie Adams, Butch Miles, and Steve Fidyk.
I also sing and dance. As far as singing goes, it's mostly been harmonizing. Back up vocals.
Dancing: Hip Hop, Electric Slide, Two-Step, Ball Room Dancing, mostly Free style.

••By The Way••
Linds, 18, love all acoustic music. It makes me insanely happy it's not even funny. Some of my friends go out of the way to find me acoustic songs by my favorite bands.
I Play the piano (but not as of late), I want to learn the guitar and actually learn bass guitar, since I've got one and all... And violin too, violins are nice.
••I Kinda Love You••

Hi all. so... a little about myself... I'm 27... Play guitar... have 2 acoustics and 3 electrics. I live in the central valley of California in a town called Modesto... Perhaps you've heard of it. Been voted worst place to live in the US 2 times in a row... We came in like 3rd the last time... yay... But anyway... My favorite form of music I'm into is 90's alt rock and the musical style of rock popular at that time. MOSTLY... But I'm into ALL rock in general as well as classical, Jazz, Blues, and really anything that isn't POP like Backstreet Boys, N'sync, Brittney Spears, etc... I'm also not a fan of Rap for the most part. Some tracks are OK, but you won't find them in my music collection or any playlists... My favorite acoustic of my 2 is my Fender Tim Armstrong guitar. It's acoustic-electric, has a concert body shape, maple neck, cool inlays, binding all over, and has a SOLID mahogany top, and a KILLER tone. I have yet to find another acoustic for $300 that is close to the quality of this guitar. AND a concert body no less. I am not a fan of Dreadnoughts.... So yeah... Oh, and I'm really random and weird.... Sooooo yeah.... HI everybody!
