"Why don't you learn, you creep!?" Elizabeth screeched as she tackled Schraeder, flying clear over the Schraeder's leg. Her average figure clearly having a higher density than an ordinary human body; even just clipping Schraeder's arm as he ducked and flipped her over nearly toppled him.

Without thinking, in an action as natural as clenching a fist or blinking, the shield withdrew into her arm and her soft, pale flesh reformed like new, then darkened to match her (somewhat minimal) tan.

She crashed to the ground, catching herself against the floor on her hands. As Schraeder approached from behind her, she kicked her feet against the ground; Schraeder blinked back as Elizabeth's entire body rose up; cracks were on the floor where she'd kicked off.

Elizabeth, in a motion that she could most certainly never have done before, spun her legs around, brought them to the ground, and rose up in a fighting stance, facing off against Schraeder.

"You need to leave us alone." Her eyes narrowed and her arm exploded into the form of the large black shield with the sounds of sickening cracks and bursting flesh - this time, though, it was her left arm, leaving her dominant right free. "Now."

Schraeder hopped back, putting a bit of distance between himself and Elizabeth. That had certainly been impressive.

"No can do," Schraeder said. "You attacked us, and you're working with the Thief. Right now, we're opponents."

He blinked up, shouting so that he had her attention. As soon as her eyes were up on him, he blinked so that he was right in front of her. His arm, with his weight and the momentum of his brief fall behind it, ended in a blurring fist aimed at her larynx. The only thing that kept Elizabeth from losing her ability to breathe and/or remain conscious was her Host senses, which brought her shield in place just barely in time. Her head was still up, and she stood, stunned, as the shield stopped moving from the force of impact mere centimeters from her throat.

Schraeder skipped back, assuming a boxing stance. "Well? Come on then."

"Oh, BULLSHIT!" Elizabeth yelled. "You attacked us! This Thief of yours helped us against someone who tried to kill us!" she added as she went forward for a sweeping leg at his feet; expecting him to blink, she focused her senses for wherever he would end up to shield bash him before he could refocus.

"Your friend with the bladed hands attacked one of my allies!" Schraeder shot back as he made a short hop back instead of blinking.

He responded with a quick left jab at her face as he slid forward.

Elizabeth deflected the punch and twitched her head to the right, deflecting the strike. Vague memories of her cousin's various ill-fated attempts to interest her in aikido and other martial arts flashed through her mind. She didn't know martial arts, but she did know a few self-defense techniques - very particular, but effective for their situations.

Like now.

The shield melted away as Elizabeth grabbed his left wrist with her left hand and yanked, forcing Schraeder's motion to continue as she brought her right hand up in a swing at Schraeder's neck, retorting, "Your ally released the psycho trying to kill us!"

Schraeder ducked under the attack, bobbing like a boxer, and wrenched his arm free with his superior strength.

"Your ally is even more psycho!" he shouted back, blinking behind her and shoulder-rushing her.

"Is not!" came Elizabeth's thoughtful, well-reasoned retort as she threw herself forward and swung a leg at Schraeder's shoulder while placing her hands to the floor. As she kicked off she rose up and balanced on one hand, closing her eyes as she focused on the what the virus told her about his location, her legs and free arm spread.

On Schraeder's next approach she planned to shove herself into the air and dropped a leg down at his head if he came from a side, or to simply kick upward if he came from above.

Schraeder performed a wing block, taking the hit on his arm and using the other arm to add support. He slid an inch, grunting, but he was able to take it. He threw her off-balance, undoubtedly disrupting her plan, before driving in with a front kick at her face.

At this point, things began happening really fast, and Helena's sluggish mind wasn't very helpful: luckily for her, the human body simply loved to dump excessive amounts of adrenaline when someone was simultaneously frightened and enraged. After the brief dance with Adela, Helena began her counter-offensive. Running headlong, she pulled her arms back, as if she were hugging herself (which would be a very dangerous hug, to say the least). As she neared her opponent, Grissom slashed with both arms: it was one lethal pair of scissors looking to cut Adela clean in half.

Knocked back by the initial strikes, Elizabeth was able to hop away from the kick at her head and regain her footing before being hit; she retaliated by feinting a high jab to cover a short front kick at Schraeder's kneecap.

The feint, to be fair, was incredibly transparent, but she at least deserved an A for her effort.

Schraeder didn't see through the feint until it was just too late, so he took a glancing kick to the shin as he sent a right hook at Elizabeth's jaw.

Elizabeth continued her momentum forward; when the hook hit her grimacing face, she wrapped her foot around Schraeder's ankle, sweeping him as she was thrown backwards by his hit, stumbling backwards and cradling her jaw.

Adela was surprised at the movement so she flipped back to get away from getting sliced. I'd rather be facing the chick with shields. She started to get on the defense as the girl started to swing at her.

As an off chance move, she threw the bat she'd gotten at Helena. She hoped that the bat would be a distraction while she came from below to jab at Helena.

Clarissa was running off after the Thief since no one seemed to notice her.

Clarissa saw that Lance was beside her, his face locked in frustration, his legs pumping. "Let's get him... to do what he wanted to do... and get us out of here!" he panted, beads of sweat running down his face.

---

Ahead of them, they could see The Thief backing up down a hallway as three separate people attacked him. None of them could get close to touching him, but he seemed somewhat.. fatigued, as though something he had done had exhausted him. Probably the fight with Agent R; matching power like that was bound to run a man out of energy fast.
