Daeva is a mystery of a Demoness. Born in the late feudal japan era her sole duty in life was to serve the Inutaisho clan after her mother had been saved by Inutaisho and in return vowed to serve his family for life. Daeva was born into the family, and from the first days of life had only known the two full blooded demons and of course the human female that the lord had taken for a mate. No sooner did she learn more about the estranged 'family' she was was there an announcement that Inutaisho and Izayo were expecting - and a son was born.

Daeva had made it very clear in the beginning, in honor of her mother, that she would watch over the young son - and her time had come when a jealous suitor and general extremist against demon and human pairings attacked their home. Daeva's mother and Inutaisho stayed behind to ward off the attack and Daeva was left in charge to protect the newborn and his mother. Thus began their story, as when the Izayo returned to her family Daeva was forced to watch from the shadows, only able to help behind the scenes as the young master grew up...
