Roxas eventually calmed down enough to where he was just hiccuping as he laid in Zexion's arms. "Zexy..," he whispered eventually. "If Vexen...took the potion, too... Where is he?" he asked softly, looking up at him. He couldn't help himself as he stole a soft kiss.

"Superior, I have the test results. I retrieved them from Vexen's lab," Saix informed him, holding out the folder with an unusually shakey hand.

Roxas nodded. "I was out with Axel and Demyx... They wre tryin got get my mind off of it..." He then sat up a little. "We should probably go check on him... Because Marluxia...looked really bad when he came back... He...was almost worse than Xemnas usually looks... If Vexen didn't get to him, we need to check on both of them..," he said softly with a bit of worry.

Saix looked as strong as ever as he hid both of his shaking hands behind his back. "I'm fine, Sir. The aftereffects of the testing, I suppose," he replied in his strong voice, eyes glimmering with hidden emotion.

A weak smile crossed Saix's face. "What I mean is, Superior, that nothing can be done about it now. The tests have already happened. I am already like this. Time alone can help me. Good day, Sir. I'll be in my room if I'm needed," he told him before bowing slightly and disappearing in a circle of black. As soon as Saix got back into his room, he sat on his bed and stared down at his shaking hands helplessly, finally letting the tremble over take his body. "What the hell kind of test is this? You want me to kill my superior? his own voice rang out through his head in the memory. The vision of Xemnas' silent face with those golden eyes full of pain closely followed.

Roxas nodded and squeezed Zexion's hand tightly. "C'mon, then..," he whispered, walking along to Marluxia's room with Zexion.

The two nobodies just stood there in the doorway of the pink-haired man's room staring inside. The place...was a disaster. Everything seemed as though it was shattered to peices. All of the man's plants were wilting, dead leaves and petals floating to the floor all around the assassin that was sitting frozen on his bed, just staring blankly at the opposite wall. Roxas wasn't even sure that the man was really there... He just...looked like a ghost...

Roxas, hearing Zexion start frekaing out, quickly followed him. As soon as he almost slipped on the first step, he stopped and watched Zexion go down and start beating away at the ice. His eyes widened as he thought quickly before disappearing, reappearing in front of Axel's door. He threw it open and ran over to him, shaking him as he tried not to disturb Demyx. "Axel! Axel, wake up!" he whispered frantically. Axel grunted and woke up a little, blinking up at him. "Rox? What's wrong?" he asked, gently slipping his arms from out beneath Demyx and sitting up, making sure not to disturb him. "We need you in Vexen's lab! He...he locked himself in a room and froze himself in! We need to get the ice off! It's hard enough to breathe in there, and there's a limited supply of oxygen in one room, Axel! He's trying to kill himself!" There were tears springing to his eyes now. Axel was wide awake now, stumbling out of bed. He quickly kissed Demyx's cheek before bolting out the room with Roxas on his heels. He went ahead and heated his body up on his way there, leaving scorch marks on the floor as footprints. By the time he got to the lab, one step onto a stairs and the ice melted where his foot was. "Zexion, get back," he called to him as he ran up towards the door, arms flaring up. As soon as Zexion was out of the way he threw his arms forward, flames flying forward into the door, almost instantly melting all of the ice. He reached forward, yanking on the door handle that was still red hot as the ice tried to grow back. He grunted as he pulled it open inch by inch. The ie was apparently coming back on the hinges and he couldn't get fire to them right now. "Zexion, get him outta there," he strained, holding the door open with difficulty. Roxas stumbled over, helping him pull on the door.

"Zexion!" Roxas screamed when the door slammed shut after him. He started pulling on the door again frantically, icy tears freezing on his cheeks. His face was turning blue now. Axel grunted a little when his fingers slipped from the door. His face was bright red. He suddenly raised his body temperature more, Roxas able to feel the heat and start to warm him up. He then went back to pulling on the door handle, trying to desperately get it open. "...what's going on..?" a soft voice said behind them. Axel and Roxas both whipped around to see Marluxia standing there looking around before his eyes locked on the door. He looked dead. Like a ghost. He didn't look like Marluxia at all. Even his hair seemed a dull brown. "M-Marluxia!" Roxas cried, more tears breaking free. "V-Vexen l-locked himself i-i-in here a-and is f-freezing e-e-everything! Z-Zexion t-t-tried to g-get him o-out, and n-now h-he's in th-there freezing to d-d-death!" he cried. Marluxia looked at them confusedly. "Vexen..? But...but my darling is..." "He's not gone, Marluxia! That was just part of the test! They made us all 'kill' the one we were closest to as a test! He's in there, and he and Zexion are both going to die if we don't get him calmed down! You're the only one that's going to get him out of this, Marluxia... He thinks he's lost you!" Axel explained quickly and frantically. Marluxia stood there for a moment before walking over, shivering a little. He pressed his hands against the freezing door and called through it softly, "Darling? Vexen, are you in there?" Tears brimmed in his eyes. "A-Are you really in there? Vexen Darling? Open the door," he told the other two worriedly, life coming back into his eyes little by little. The two strained at the door before managing to open it just enough for Marluxia to slip through. Axel, starting to lose stamina, raised his body temperature more despite it. That way Marluxia wouldn't freeze like Zexion was. Axel put a little more energy out, sending two balls of fire out from his body. One circled around Marluxia as the ghost of a nobody hurried quickly towards Vexen, fire dwindling as Axel's energy wore down. The other circled around Zexion, hopefully heating him up enough to still breathe. "Darling," Marluxia sobbed as soon as he saw Vexen. Then his breath caught as the cold air began to get to him. He rushed as quickly as he could over to the blond, getting there just in time for his legs to just freeze in place. Panicking a little, he leaned forward, whispering, "Vexen, Darling," before kissing him gently, tears freezing in their tracks as his body stopped moving then and there. Axel gave a weak glance over at Roxas in worry, Roxas looking back up at him sadly.

"Z-Zexion!" Roxas choked out as the door opened easily. He hurried in the room, stepping through the ice cold water to get to his boyfriend. He threw his arms around Zexion as he sobbed, hugging him tightly to try and warm him up a little faster.

Axel sighed in relief and slumped back against a cleared-off lab table in exhaustion. He hadn't used that much energy in a while... Especially not while surrounded by cold... He panted, breathing deeply with his eyes closed as he relaxed himself.

Marluxia felt his tears unfreeze and slide down his cheeks before he got the ability to move again. As soon as his tear ducts unfroze, a barrage of tears flooded his cheeks and he took Vexen into his arms, holding him securely. "I...I th-thought I l-lost you..," he sobbed, completely breaking down now. "I th-thought I k-killed y-y-you... Th-That I m-made m-my n-n-nightmare c-c-come t-t-true..."

Roxas held him tightly, shaking himself. He helpd out out to Axel and got him up on the cleared off table Axel was leaning against. "A-Axel... Can you..?"

Axel cracked his eyes and looked up to the blue Zexion. He then took a breath and nodded. holding onto the table. He heated the metal up to a comfortably warm temerature then moved so he was in front of Zexion. He closed his eyes and put both of his hands on Zexion's shoulders. He slowly started warming him up as to not shock his body.

Marluxia fell down into the cold being's lap, laying against him, hugging tightly as he shivered."I l-love y-y-you, t-too, D-Darl-ling..," he stuttered out, hugging him closer. "If-f a-anything l-like th-th-this h-hap-pens ag-gain, c-come s-s-see m-me b-b-before y-you c-come to c-c-conclusions... P-Pleas-se..," he requested, kissing his cheek with trembling lips.
