Evangeline felt her pocket vibrate against her thigh, sipping her coffee ever so slowly. She slipped her phone out of her pocket and looked at the new message. It was from Derric, 'Of course...' Eva thought with a smile. Kylie's little play buddy was here, and the only thing left was letting Mr. SmartyPants find Axel, Kylie and her, it wasn't that hard, seeing as they were a bunched up group of good looking kids. "Hmmmn... So Derric has arrived, you guys." Evangeline announced. It was almost time to commence the shopping spree, and meet the newbie. If the new girl was Derric's little sister... She couldn't be that bad could she?

Axel yawned his eyes still red from lack of sleep, he looked around, "It's about damn time," he mumbled. Unsure about meeting a new kid, even if it was his best friend's sister, "No promises I'm gonna be nice to her." he stated.
The shoppers would simply walk past as they glanced at the group, he gave them his eerie yet seductive look that would make them turn their heads and act as though he wasn't there. He had a dark feeling about today, the day begun as depressing as it would end. He yawned again and stretched, "Weird though, didn't even know that Derric had a sister, and he's my bestfriend," he laughed giving a light hug to Eva.
It was well know in the school that Eva had claimed Axel, and they were an undeclared couple. No one dared to flirt with him, because he was so ruthless and a smartass. Insulting everyone constantly, also they knew Eva would have their heads if she noticed anyone crushing on him. As the laws of high school went, she would be queen and he was her king.

ｍｅ Lila skimmed the small shop and spotted a small group of teens, "them?" She nodded in the direction she was looking. They were all pretty fabulous, and obviously rich... "Good attitude... be happy. C'mon." Lila sighed, she didn't really look like anything fancy. She had never cared, she'd always loved her style, but now she found middle class, as she was. Her curly black hair fell along her shoulders under her purple fedora. She was a pretty girl but she wasn't anything near rich. Like usual she wore plain purple air walks with skinny jeans and a loose fitting shirt. The shirt was tucked in at the belt of her jeans. Her style was 'normal' but it was her so she didn't care.

 Derric Smith Derric nodded as he took a sip of his drink."Yeah them." He sighed and started to walk over to them and gave them a small wave. Derric looked back at his sister and waved her over as well.Derric then looked at his drink,and sighed as he took another sip and wiping away the wipe cream. 'this is going to be different,and did I ever tell Axel about my sister.....nah..' he thought while staring into his drink.

ｍｅ Lila sighed sipping her drink slowly. She followed behind Derric and waited for him to say something to all four of them. These three 'friends' probably had no idea he even had a sister, and she hadn't the slightest who they were except that they were his rich 'friends'. "Happy. Happy. Happy!" This was going to be really odd. She tried to think of some way to think of a positive outcome, but none came to her.

In response to Axel's hug, Eva just smiled and hugged back as lightly as he did. The relationship they shared was purely confidential to everyone else but them. That was how it was, secrets that were so clear to everyone that they weren't even secrets anymore. " I happened to just overhear a few days ago there was another Smith arriving in our school." Eva twirled her hair between her thumb and index finger. "No guarantees I will be either." She added with a smirk.
Evangeline waved at Derric. "Uhhhh...Late much?" She started with a giggle and the girl next to him caught her attention. "Oh... Is this her?" Eva's eyes went directly to how the girl was dressed. It was normal, but wasn't everyone? Her face was pretty though... That's good. Derric didn't inherit all of the good looks then.

Derric Smith Derric nodded "yes this is my sister be nice Eva.." Derric gave Eva a small glare and then smiled softly. "Hmm..." Derric noticed Eva examining her which is why he said to be nice. He had noticed when she judged people depended on how she was going to treat them.. Well this being his opinion anyway.

ｍｅ "b***h..." That was all it took. The stupid little giggle 'Eva' had made when she glanced over Lila. Well Lila had been right. She hated judging people so immediately but, girls like Eva deserved it. Why did she think... they think they were just better than anybody. Lila smiled anyway, "Lila... you can call me Lannie." They were Derric's friends so she should be nice, Derric would do the same for her, right? Lila could tell they weren't going to get along very well but she would try to be nice.

"Cute." Eva said and glared also, just hidden beneath her grey eyes. "Evangeline. Call me Eva." She introduced herself with an acknowledging nod, and that was about that. "Skipping on your first day of school. That's pretty bad a**." Eva smiled. She could see the slight resemblance between Derric and Lila, just a slight one... A really slight one. "Well... On another note, wwe can start our shopping day kiddies!" Evangeline hoped this would take Kylie's mind off of her beaten up baby Beamer.

Derric Smith Derric blinked,and ignored Eva for a moment as he went into his own world of enjoying his drink. Derric smiled. 'way better than coffee' he though even if he never really enjoyed coffee no matter what you did to coffee it was still coffee frozen or covered with carmel just coffee.'hmm wonder if I should buy my sister a gift' his thought blocked the sensation of him enjoying his drink causing his eyes to wander and look at Eva and his sister.

ｍｅ A good shopper, but one who didn't really enjoy shopping. "Shopping over school...?" She spoke with a sort of sarcasm on her voice. This wasn't a new thing. She had skipped school for movies and concerts... but shopping? Lannie didn't find shopping worthy of skipping school, it was stupid. Lil sighed and smiled to the group, trying hard to seem nice.

Derric Smith Derric nodded. "yeah and you wonder why she has to copy my notes for classes.." Derric sighed.."Oh Eva did you fill in that application to the olympics to make shopping a sport?" Derric said with a smile a small hint of sarcasm in his voice as he said it yet wondered if she might actually do it. Derric then looked at her sister. "Yeah she does this alot and if you don't complain I will buy stuff for you.." Derric said to his sister.. "Anything.." he whispered.

ｍｅ Lannie laughed at Derric's snide remark. Her brother wasn't totally like them. She looked at him oddly at first but understood where he was going with the remark. Lil nodded to him, barely as the conversation was between just the two of them. "I'll be nice..." She whispered to him and winked. Lannie would be nice, but only because these spoiled brats were her brothers friends.

Derric Smith Derric laughed slightly enjoying that he made his sister laugh, and went back to drinking his drink which was almost finished, and he frowned at his drink. "why is all the applecider always gone.." he sighed and quickly finished off the rest of the drink. "Little sister I must thank you favorite drink of the year." Derric smiled and placed the cup into the trash.

Axel had been busy in his own little world, staring at the people that walked past, his gaze was so subtle, yet it washed over every soul like a wave on the beach. Pulling each grain of sand further. Before drifting back to the top and submerging them selves in a ocean of his not so self proclaimed glory. He was ashamed. Ashamed of himself, what was he making his life out to be? Nothing more than another high school story. Something to look back on? Passing grades, yes he had them, but only with the help of his best friend. He was indeed a music and art prodigy. Only he buried that so deep down with in him, it went almost completely undiscovered by those around him. Secretly he enjoyed reading Shakespeare, English was one of his best subjects. Though, he masked himself. Glamour and parties, they were only a small part of him.
His mind slowly drifted back when he heard an unfamiliar voice, “Shopping over school…?” the voice rang and alerted him. With in moments he became more alive, like a zombie brought back to life, “Derric!”, he exclaimed with excitement. He pulled his ‘best man’ into a brotherly hug and smiled, “How long have you been here?” he asked curiously beaming through him. Of course Axel lost track of time while in his heavy thoughts that would swarm his mind in a cunning way. His coffee was gone entirely and it left a thirst for more lingering through his moist mouth. He realized the girl who was standing next to his ‘best man’, “This must be the sister that I never knew about,” he thought his eyes locking on her. She was small framed, like some of the girls in the school, including Eva and Kylie. He noticed small features that matched Derric’s like their smiles. Holding out a hand towards the girl he said in his naturally seductive voice, “Axel, nice to meet you,” the smoothness of his voice made his words slip off his tongue like silk.
He knew she didn’t think highly of him nor his friends, mainly because she expected him to be a pampered rich boy, he was anything but. The look was clear on her face, not matter how hard she may have tried to hide it. Living with his mother, who worked two jobs, and getting money from his rich @ss father that left them. He was not rich, his father was, and his father only gave money to him as a way to buy his love. He expectations of him and views on him, were just as wrong as everyone else’s, except his small group, they knew the truth, or some of it.
