Tat kept up with the two adults, pouncing through the foliage in a carefree attitude. Tounge lolling out the side of her mouth she paid little attention to what the adults were doing as they made their way around the new land...no home.
Upon reaching the grasslands, Tat sprinted across the ground. Claws digging into the sandy ground covered with greenery. It was a wonderful place and the grasses seemed to be dancing with joy as well when a breeze floated through the long blades of grass. Slowly down as she came to the water, Tat stopped at the bank and quickly lapped up the fresh water eased her forgotten thirst. Gazing into the slow moving stream, Tat grinned before pouncing into the stream, but found it a bit deeper than expected and was forced to paddle around in the cool water, her paws just barely not reaching the sandy bottom.
Splashing back onto the banks Tat yipped playfully as a monarch butterfly fluttered past to a large collection of flowers cluttered not far from where she was. As the sound of paws reached her ears, Tat turned her attention to the two full grown wolves before shaking herself off. Unfortunatly for both Loki and Hige they were in range of the flying water droplets.

Hige kept his eye on Tatiana as he listened to Loki speak. He had to admit it was an endearing sight to see Tatti enjoying herself as she was, playing about in the stream, then in the grasses. This place had a definite sense of belonging, he'd never felt quite this at home in the freelands or the other packlands, there was just an added sense of pride that came with having lands to call their family's own.
He laughed good naturedly and shut his eyes, shaking his head to repell the water that had been sploshed all over Loki and he. Flickering an ear to send a little of his back at Loki, he winked at the alpha female, then lowered his head to snuff into one of Tati's ears. "Hey runt, we already had baths." He teased.

Bowing her head apologetically Tat mumbled a sorry. If a wolf could blush, a red tinge would be spreading over her face at that moment, but her attention was quickly grabbed by the butterfly again as it floated towards her. With a yipp and a wag of her tial she bounded off after the small creature until she grew tired of its fluttering antics.
Plopping her rear end on the ground she looked around and saw Hige and Loki were sitll by the rivers side. Lowering herself in the grass she crept towards the two as if hunting out prey. Nose to the ground she sniffed the grass and her attention was quickly torn from Hige and Loki tot he scent of a rabbit that was quite fresh.
Barking once to alert Hige and Loki she followed the scent, nose to the ground as her head pushed through the tall grass. Suddenly she stopped and raised her head and barked before taking off through the grass and into the the forest as the scent of the rabbit grew stronger and faint sounds of rustling leaves caught her attention.

The two adults had been quietly conversing about who knew what when Kolina's bark interrupted. Sensitive wolf ears perked inquisitively at the nature of the call, and he stepped forward, craning his neck a little to get a look at what was going on.
Now that they took a minute to think about it both recognized the signs, small prey.
They exchanged looks, then followed the young pup to get into place and help her corner the rabbit.
"Stay downwind of it if you can," Hige advised.

((Bleh. I live. I'm on an involuntary-hiatus (if I might borrow the phrase), for an undecided period of time. Parents have taken away the internet from me *mutters sourly about being an INFP in an ESFJ household* and I don't know when I'll have a steady connection again. Right now they've granted me a short period of time. -_-;; I'll be back as soon as I'm able, though, and I miss you all! <3))

Loki's ears also perked at the sound of Kolina's bark. She too realized the pup had found a rabbit and nodded at Hige's advice. She grinned and slowely moved into position to help Kolina catch her rabbit.

She'd hit the ground roughly on her rear end near the outskirts of her son's lands....having to set her curled up son by her front paws. She would sigh heavily, and begin to pant...having run most of the way...cutting the trip in half, most likely. She had to see him--then she'd head home. Maybe. Selia would have to see her mate soon, though, or else she'd die...it'd been a few weeks already.
He'd be plopped onto his own rear, a sniff escaping the ebone tinted male's nose...before he'd cant his head. New lands! Whoo. Perking up a bit, he'd raise to his feet energetically and begin to roam in a circle around his mother till she was ready to get up and find his older brother, whom Selia had said they were going to visit.
Hmm, now, where was this female heading to? She had stayed a good amount of meters behind the elder female, but now...now she was past them. Running forward, still, enough energy to spare to find who lived here...not worried at all about the dangers that may lie ahead.

((NOTE: Doing a time skip now since the moving in is otherwise grinding to a hault. This is 2-3 weeks AFTER they settled into the packlands XD))
Hige froze. There were familiar scents carrying in on the breeze a few minutes after Selia had entered the pack lands, making Hige's tail wag. ~Mom??~
He hauled his massive body from under the tree, stopping to scent the air.
It was unmistakeably Selia's scent.
Hige looked back to Loki and smiled a bit, then left the densite and started off towards the north-most border of their packlands. Loki was sleeping peacefully yet, as was Tatiana, the rest of the pack was undoubtably about either being lazy or enjoying the weather, which was tame at this moment.
It took but a few minutes for Hige to get to the edge of their land, barking a greeting to the alpha-female and her son. In a few seconds they'd see his now massive figure trotting out of the woods, looking healthy as ever, and as happy as could be to see them. He was a little wary as he thought he detected a third scent, but said nothing of it for the moment. He'd just keep his guard up.

She tossed her head back in a lazy howl to her son, able to hear his barking not to far off. She pushed herself to her feet, and would smirk towards him. "Hige!" She called with a yip, bouncing on her front paws to show her enthusiasm. Of course the alpha was happy to see her adopted son...she missed him. She'd miss all of her children.
He would stumble after his mother for a moment, before breaking into a loud barking frenzy at his brother--just to show enthusiasm himself, but he wanted to play! He had been carried for two days and had energy to burn.

With a sudden burst of energy the earthy-colored male bounded forward the last two yards, nuzzling and licking Selia affectionately just like a pup that had been reunited with a blood-related parent would-- and without that much restraint too. He had long ago been reassured that there wasn't a need for strict formalities amongst family, and he was more than happy to show his joy at their reunion. He had a lot to tell her, and her visit was unexpected though not unplesant. He had spoken to Loki already about going back, and they were just waiting for the right moment to leave the pack lands.
His voice was excited, almost carrying a note of laughter as he greeted first Selia, then Yang with a brotherly nudge. "This is sudden! It's great to see you again!"

Laughing at him, she'd nuzzle into the fur of his neck. Wow, he had gotten big. O_o; She grinned at him, and would n** his muzzle after he spoke, "Just came back from my brother's lands. Thought I'd drop by for a quick visit," a smirk spread over her lips, before she glanced down to Yang, who had silenced and now sat on his rear...which would wiggle at the speed of his tail going from side to side.
Looking back up at Hige, she smiled warmly, "It's good to see you again...we've all missed you since your move." The multi-colored female assured, tail high and waving side to side slowly. She was tired, obviously, but was of course not going to let that get in her way.

"We've missed you guys too," Hige smiled, calming some now. "well-- except for Tsume and Tatiana, who you didn't really meet." He frowned, but humor was in his eyes, and he grinned again, jaw hanging. He had indeed grown since they parted ways, and now was at his full size, he seemed much more self-assured now as well, as coming to lead a pack with Loki had helped to shape him up... he was taking in the footsteps of his father, both of his fathers, unknowingly but proudly so. "The others'll be glad to see you again too."

Grinning at him in return, she'd nod softly to this, canting her head curiously at the said new pack members. "I'll have to meet them," she assured, and looked down to Yang...who had tipped his head down. Obviously, the energy had drained out of him. Despite the lack of his own running, the pup was still tired. She nudged him with her ebone tinted nose, "Keep awake."

Hige chuckled simply, at Yang's sudden weariness. He glanced to Selia as if to ask if he could, then lowered his head and pushed his snout under Yang, as he had done on that first meeting, carrying the young one on his back. "You two are more than welcome to rest in the pack lands until you had back, there's more than enough room, it's kind of like our own slice of paradise here." ^_^
So Hige thought, it was no tropical oasis, and it could still get cold, but there were caves in the mountains, a river, thick forests, rocks, and burrows to take shelter in. It was a wolven-paradise, even to those of them with thicker mountain coats like he and Thayne.

Yang would give a light yelp, slightly startled, but would slide down his brother's neck and to the crook of his shoulders...sprawled out slightly on the older wolf's upper back. Shifting a bit, he'd turn, and sit back down, then drop onto his belly...legs on either side of Hige's shoulders, obviously thankful for the ride.
Nodding, of course, she watched this, and snickered at the yelp. "Thank you, very much, Hige." She'd smile and wait for him to lead the way to the pack lands--also having scented another presence, it had taken a few minutes, though...even if she didn't know all of the pack, she could scent her Son's wariness of this new scent. She frowned a bit, but would cover the slight worry and nudge the side of Hige's muzzle softly.
