ぷ Ah, so Azayel hadn't stashed away any cash on his person? Well, it was a good thing he was checking on the Nephil... But he felt bad for the other male. It seemed it was his fault for bringing it up right now.. but still.. For some reason, he didn't particularly like Azayel look all depressed like that.
Before Azayel got too far from him, Cyane stepped out and put his hand on the other male's shoulder to stop him. "Don't worry about it, she just didn't things all the way through or expected us to charge it on her card... if she has a card.. If we have to, I'll pay and neither of you will owe me anything," he told Azayel with a smile. He wasn't sure how the cashier he had slightly befriended would react to them using some female's card that wasn't even in the store with them... and they still had their collars on. But the guy had ignored that fact when he went to pay last time.
Yet the demon blinked at surprise towards himself, he wasn't usually this nice.. Then again, he liked Miss Adalia and Azayel and actually didn't hate their guts like he thought he would towards other people. Still, he had been considering about Miss Adalia owing him since she was the one that brought them here, but thought better of that. ぷ He nodded when Azayel accepted his offer and left go of the other's shoulder. He watched Azayel left to go find the ties and hats and unclipped the trigger on his cane before pulling it out slightly. Cyane took out enough money for what Azayel was buying and some more for later on, which he put that extra bit into a pocket. No need to do this around the cashier again, or the person for whom he was paying for. Yes, there was a lot that both of them, including Miss Adalia, didn't know about him.
A little later he spotted Azayel who was seemingly finished go look for the cash register. Cyane decided to follow him and they soon ended up at the cash register. The cashier seemed happy to see him again so soon and after a slight talk while taking account for all of Azayel's items, he paid with the cash he had taken out. The cashier then passed the bag over for Azayel as it seemed that it was him who was the buyer this time.
"Well, should we go find Miss Adalia now?" he asked Azayel as they walked to the entrance of the shop in order to leave. ぷ ╚══════════════════════════════════╝ ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ...I'm no different from you. I just express my insanity more clearly~!

₳ᶽᶏʮέʅ Ḁɨȡᶒɲɳ Ɖịᵯᵼϯґἷ Azayel inched his way up in the line and when they reached the register Cyane started talking to the cashier. Apparently he had been there before, Azayel wondered absent-mindedly what he had bought. Cyane then handed the cashier the money for his clothes. Where did he have money? Slaves aren't supposed to have money. His eyes wondered to his can, but quickly excused the thought. He was by now used to the mystery of Cyane.
"Yeah," he said taking the bag. "We should probably find her." All confidence left him as soon as he seen the crowd again. He slumped and braced himself. He looked over at Cyane and gave him a shallow smile. He was always so confident, it baffled Azayel.

ぷ Cyane was glad that Azayel wanted to find her as well, because he wanted to see if book places were letting wolves in nowadays. It seemed Azayel was having some trouble again. Well, he carefully took Azayel's hand and lead the other male out with a smile. Now, book store or music store? Or was there a place with both? Hmm.. Cyane lead Azayel to another map of the mall and quickly looked it over. ....
Taking note, he believed that the most likely place that Miss Adalia would be was the bookstore by the music one. It was ironic, but he wasn't surprised that such stores were grouped together at times in this mall. It was a good idea when people started recording music. Even though he found that music created by yourself could be just as pleasant. Over all the years, he had learned various instruments since he did get bored for a few years at times.
It was not long before they ended up at the bookstore with as minimal amount of contact with others that he could get. There he let go of Azayel's hand again and glanced around. So many books... this was one of the better bookstores at the mall probably. Now where was Miss Adalia? Hopefully she was in this store. ぷ

Adalia Carmen Kaumudi ~ Mistress ~ Shapeshifter In the moonlight I felt your heart Quiver like a bowstring's pulse In the moon's pure light, you looked at me Nobody knows your heart… Adalia had curled up in a chair they had in the book store a novel in hand and Kona curled at her feet. People gave her trouble for him sometimes, but she had a card that passed him off as a medical aid canine, like seeing eye dogs were only on a different level. Then they usually settled down. She glanced up from her book for a moment to see the familiar blue and black hair of Azayel, who had aparently become engrossed in a book. Her eyes wandered to the bags in his hand when she realized it: she hadn't given the men any money! She slapped her forehead, pissed at herself for being so careless. Kona jumped up at the sound, quickly seeing Azayel and tugging at the leash to go to him. She quickly got up and headed over to the Nephil, tapping his shoulder lightly to get his attention.
"I see you found everything all right. I'm so sorry I forgot to give you money, I must have gotten distracted! I'll pay you back, I promise! How much was it?" She asked, feeling aweful and pulling her wallet from her back pocket. She scanned the area for Cyane, not seeing him nearby. "Do you know where Cyane would happen to be?" She asked, her hand resting on it's usual spot on Kona's shoulder as the wolf leaned forward to rub his head on Azayel's leg, wanting pets. She then noticed the book in his hands and motioned to it. "Let me get that for you. As an apology for being so scatter-brained." She insisted, smiling warmly. …When the sun is gone I see you Beautiful and haunting, but cold Like the blade of a knife, so sharp and so sweet Nobody knows your heart.

He glanced up, panicked because he thought he had done something wrong, but soon calmed down when he saw it was Adalia tapping on his shoulder. As soon as he realized it was her he hurriedly shut the book like he did something wrong. Damn it, i was suppossed to be helping Cyane look for her
Azayel quickly looked ashamed and embarrassed. "It wasn't me who paid for my clothes, it was Cyane. You owe me nothing." He said apologetically. He felt stupid for not thinking things through ahead of time.
His hand went through his hair as it did when he was distressed and not paying attention " No, Me and Cyane were looking for you and i became distracted when i saw that book. I am so sorry." He started to get up from off of the floor frantically and Kona nudged his leg. He smiled at the wolf. " I'm sorry i forgot about you, too." He turned his head to Adalia. " It's alright, i do not feel wronged in any way Miss Adalia, I just feel bad for also being scatter-brained and forgetting everything." He looked down, ashamed, but soon jumped up. " If you would be so kind as to follow me, we can find him together." He smiled at her and began walking. He tried thinking of the places that Cyane would be but he didn't really know him that well and just started looking down aisles again.

ぷ As soon as they got to the bookstore, Azayel went off one way to look for Miss Adalia while he glanced around a bit before heading down the opposite aisles. Hmm, he could actually sense a wolf had been in the store now, so he figured that Azayel would find the other two before him because his luck had always been opposite in situations like this.
There was one section that he came across that intrigued and was appalled by him. That was the mythology dealing with demons that are the generalized kind. He found quite the interesting title because it was a phrase that he heard from some story weaver way back. The one that once spread his story far and wide for couple of generations before it finally died down again. He had to leave to his 'original' home when that incident occurred. So, hoping to not find his previous past in it, the demon slid the book out and opened it up.. damn it. It was indeed that barely altered story which had been warped even a bit from then. Humans, they complete pest at times. At least he didn't say his name, but it did say only one name that was real in it, and that was his sister's. Poor Cecilia, to not have been masked...
Pretty soon, he was reading his own slightly altered past while using magic so that the rest of the copies in the world would not be noticed and completely ignored by everyone but him. A large task which made his lost eye glow a bright red for a few moments before dying away. This one book would be the exception. Ah.. but using such large amounts was starting to drain him, he needed to stop.. ぷ ╚══════════════════════════════════╝ ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ...I'm no different from you. But she did owe Cyane some money, they had better find him soon. She wanted to head home and show them around. "Don't be sorry, I'm not upset. We'll just have to find him." She assured him, following him down the aisle and looking down each one they passed. It wasn't a huge store, they would be able to find him in a matter of minutes. She felt Kona tug on his leash and looked in the direction she was being pulled. Sure enough, there was the white-haired demon, walking along with cane in hand. She tugged on Azayel's jacket, pointing to their companion and heading in his direction, wondering if he had found anything he wanted himself. …When the sun is gone I see you Beautiful and haunting, but cold Like the blade of a knife, so sharp and so sweet Nobody knows your heart.

ぷ Hmm, he had turned to the very back of the book to see it only contained his history into his thousandth's year, only a third of his life. Though footsteps distracted him and he closed the book to look up and see Miss Adalia with a smiling Azayel. Ah, so Azayel did find her first after all. That really didn't surprise him at all. Yet he felt like he had made the book he had owned. Well, if he wanted to keep it by his side he could, and then make a replica that had the actual happening in his life as a contrasting book. Of course, no one wanted to read about a demon's life. The building of famous sites and his own point of view of Shakespeare's plays weren't wanted.
"I see you guys found each other. I was just thinking of getting this book" he told them with an emotion that masked his true one towards the book. Well, at least they all found each other, Azayel got what he wanted, and he had what he wanted.

Adalia Carmen Kaumudi ~ Mistress ~ Shapeshifter In the moonlight I felt your heart Quiver like a bowstring's pulse In the moon's pure light, you looked at me Nobody knows your heart… Adalia felt content now that they were all together again, and glanced at the cover of the book he was holding. Ah, demons. It must have some interesting knowledge in it considering he wanted to buy it, and looked down at the novel she had been reading, thinking she might buy it as well. Speaking of buying, she owed Cyane an apology. "Then let me pay for it." She insisted, smiling slightly. "I know you paid for Azayel's clothing and I'm sorry you had to; I should have thought ahead to give you two the money. Besides, it's the least I could do and I'm buying these two as well." She held up her own novel and the book Azayel had been reading earlier. She grinned at the darker boy, she had snatched it off the shelf after he had put it down and turned away. "And don't argue with me, I saw how much it captivated you. Think of it as a gift you can put in your new room." She said before he could say anything.
Turning back to Cyane, she noticed he looked slightly paler than usual. "Are you all right, Cyane? You look a bit worn out." She said softly, her eyes showing her worry. She may be a b***h with some people, but these two she was quickly coming to regard as friends, and she had a tendency to take care of those close to her. She frowned, lifting her hand as if to put it to his forehead before stopping. She had only known the two for so long, and didn't want to step over any boundaries. Adalia quickly held out her hand instead for the volume he was holding. "It would be my pleasure to pay for it. And I insist you let me pay you back for the clothing." The woman said. If it was one thing she didn't like, it was unfairness. She had offered to bring them here and get them what they wanted, and she was going to do so. She supposed her brother was correct; she was as stubborn as a mule. …When the sun is gone I see you Beautiful and haunting, but cold Like the blade of a knife, so sharp and so sweet Nobody knows your heart.

Leila Ran Delano ~ Slave ~ Mage Mother, looking at me Tell me what do you see? Yes, I've lost my mind... Leila was leaning against the bars running along the back of her cage, Keme tangled in her hair, napping. She watched the masters outside with suspicious eyes. The guards had taken away her plate of untouched food hours ago, and now her cage was empty save her and her fuzzy familiar. She had taken a nap for a bit, bored by the lack of movement in the market, but the sound of buying and selling had woken her again, making her nervous and keep to the back of her cage. She was hoping no one would notice her in the shadows, with her dark hair and clothing. She had a feeling she was going to be stuck here for a very long time; but she supposed that was better than being owned by a man.
Her eyes trained on the people outside, she waited longingly for a interesting woman to pass buy, hoping to step forward and catch their eye. However, no such thing happened, and she kept her vigil to no avail. Grumbling softly about morons and men, she turned her head away and leaned it against the cool bars. Keme woke when she shifted, and crawled clumsily down her long strands, climbing into her lap and up onto her chest, gazing at her with concerned eyes. She smiled wearily at the tiny mammal, running fingers softly over his head and wings. She muttered words of comfort to the bat, wishing he could speak and giver her the ones she craved in return. ...Daddy, looking at me Will I ever be free? Have I crossed the line?

Nicolai the Necromancer Drake listened to her as he made the order. It was just our normal everyday cart that sold cheap, fast food. He turned to look over at her as she spoke, guessing she had never worn shoes before. Elves were known for their bond to the nature and foot wear, from what he had heard, was a rarely used choice except for traveling. "We will have your size measured. Is there a color you favor? Or certain style like scandals or boots?" he asked. He turned back to the cart vendor and waited for the man to finish. It was a hot dog vendor, and Drake had asked for cheese and ketchup on his and a plain one for Gaiea as well as a coke for them both. When the vendor finished and handed them to him, Drake turned and walked to his newly bought slave, handing her hot dog and drink to her. "Let's eat for not then go see about your shoes," he said, then bit into his food. It was too cooked for his liking, but he'd endure it for the time being. G a i a e T o p h e r ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Gaiae listened to him as he ordered the food. Her feet swung lazily beneath her before she came up with a good answer. She had been a "normal" person once, if you could call it that. Her clothing, though, had not been "normal". What kind of shoes she would wear was something that had always been part of a uniform. Why choose now? He truly was a kind man but she sort of wished he would chose for her without her having to ask him. It was such a pain!
She brushed the hair form her face before taking the food happily and beginning to eat. Only after she finished completely and threw everything away did she return to him and sit down by his side once more. She looked up at him. "Plain sandals are just fine, master," she told him sincerely. That was the cheapest kind she could think of at the moment.{yeah... sorry about that... drama/crew is taking over life! Should we move this elsewhere some time soon?}
