As the coming twilight started to steal the last hours of daylight, Masterson chuckled at what Enfy's had said.
"Not really Enfy's, that's not where sad kids go, although it's stereotyped as such. I don't think that all of them are like that. But mine was, and it was a total hell, ruled over by people that were total malignant dictators."
"Still though, I guess life doesn't always have such a happy ending. We all pay dear sacrifices to obtain what we want. But it can either make us stronger, or defeat us completely. We have to press on."

welian ((Sorry for such a late post, Foxxy!))
Hanen stared at the strange man in disbelief. He crossed his arms, his head tilted and his mouth slightly agape at the sheer audacity of this… moron. Who would ask a foreigner to find some strange person, and then offer a wish as payment? That was ridiculous.
“No,” he said firmly to the Architect. “I don’t know who you are, and I don’t trust you. You couldn’t even grant my wish if you were the goddess herself.”
And because Hanen did not trust him, he did not dare to walk away, or take his eyes off the Architect for even a moment. A man who talked like that was just as crazed as Hanen, and that was a bad thing.
There was dead silence for several seconds, as Hanen struggled to figure out what was possibly going through this man’s mind – and why he couldn’t find it himself to raise his sword, and kill this man like so many others only hours before. Hanen trusted his own psychic powers, and he was quite sure they were warning him not to take this man lightly, or to cast him aside as worthless.
Instead, he began to ask questions, his pitch-dark eyes narrowed in suspicion.
“Who is Teodora? Why do you need me to find her? Where did you learn to speak Camidan? Who are you, and do you even know who I am?” ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ X x <3 x X ₳ я ς ђ ί Ϯ э ς Ϯ X x <3 x X ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ ☽ "Cruel everlasting fool, Free me… from this idiocy you call LOVE. How sad. How ONE SIDED." ☾ ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ “Oh? So you don’t believe me huh?” The Architect shrugged as if it were all just a misunderstanding and changed his tactics. “Alright. Since you don’t believe I can do it, how about I give you a more reasonable payment. I’ll return you to your home once you’re done with everything and I shall leave you with an object of immense power and it will be up to you what you wish to do with it. Otherwise, you’ll wither away here and never complete that goal of yours.” The architect said, hinting that just from their short conversation, he already knew plenty about the other man.
“As for your questions, I think you’re find that regardless of their cultures, you’ll be able to understand everyone and everyone will be able to understand you as well. That is, as long as you serve a side in this. It’s generally one of those things were if you pick a benefactor and do their bidding, you’ll get a few perks along the way. This is just the first one.” The Architect held out the paper again. “As for Teodora, she likes to go by Taddie. Head in that direction,” He pointed to the Northwest of the current location. “and you’ll meet find her. Try not to kill too many people on sight. It might cause problems in the long run yeah? You’ll be able to tell her out quite easily. She’s the one with the brightly colored hair.” With that, the Architect waited for Hanen to make his choice and then just like always, he disappeared without a trace.

So far, she’d found no leads on the third question. In the meantime, she found work at a local bar and inn where she’d stay while she earned some traveling money. Though she’d never done that type of work before, she quickly picked it up and earned small praises throughout the day from her employer. But once she was done working, she was so tired she barely had the energy to find food before going back up to her rented room for some rest.
That night, she slept with her window open, the cool night air felt nice across her skin and she could easily hear what was going on outside the building as well as inside. She’d never been known for being a heavy sleeper. In fact, so much as one out of the ordinary creak of the floorboards was more than enough to wake her from her slumber. Luckily, normal noises didn’t wake her anymore, otherwise she’d be up all night without doubt.
ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ The Unknown Shadow Meanwhile. . . Hiro continued to reminisce. . . "No, I don't know what his real purposes are in fact. All that I know is, that I've eliminated whole empires and even dominated the world, and yet I don't have it in me to slaughter him. It's weird. I thought that I was going through a change of heart or something, but in reality, this being, this Architect person just, I don't know, it's like when I'm around him, I get the sensation that he's of my kind. It's messed up.
"And I'm going to at least try to not kill them, The Architect has a plan for them, and I'll give him that much. He's letting me kill and enslave whatever else I can get my hands on, so I see it as a trade off. He wants me to wreck havoc on The Creator's compound, so I'm off to pay him a visit now. Feel free to join me if you so desire. It really doesn't matter either way. I'm not your babysitter, so do what you want."And with that, he had flown away to where he was now. But he still couldn't understand why the hell he couldn't eliminate The Architect, why he had no desire to kill him. What the hell was wrong with him? Something told him that there was more to this Architect being that just a cult leader look alike. It made no sense whatsoever. ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ X x <3 x X Ғ ο χ χ э ɳ ɳ э . β ί Ϯ я ί ϩ ί ϩ Ϯ ᵿ . It was indeed, very annoying to have to work with him, but she figured the Architect had decided as such due to the fact that their newest member wouldn’t be able to keep up. The girl shrugged and pushed all other thoughts out of her mind, focusing on the task at hand. Her list, and the strange orders that the Architect had given to Hiro.ᵠ - ₰ - ᵠ ☽ "Should I help you off that ledge? Down into that pathetic void of ignorant self-pity? ((Shifting my personality on Hiro. . . I've had some good time to come up with something while my wi-fi was so badly on the fritz, that I couldn't work.))
Hiro chuckled at Foxx's mumbling getting closer in her face with every passing word.
"And then what would an obnoxious brat such as yourself, get out of it? Yes, you would indeed get the list, but it would create a domino effect that I'm sure even you would have a hard time keeping up with. It would do a lot more harm than good, sad to say. Incuring the wraith of this 'Architect', would be mundane at best in comparison. By the way, you might want to trim your nose hairs, they're starting to show as if you're growing trees out your nose holes." he said with a cold sneer, than turning swiftly away.
"Believe me, I'd much rather be other places now, than doing common babysitting. But, if we're to get anywhere, we might as well work together."

Outside the port window, Masterson watched as several groups of black rotary telephones flew by in a V formation. They looked like the office telephones of the forties, but not the kind where you had a separate circular earpiece attached on a stick. No, these kind had a rotary dialing circle and an ear receiver and body similar to the ones around post 1950's. They rang, as if they were birds squawking.
"How interesting. . ." he said aloud nonchalantly. "Did you ever see anything like that before under the sea Enfy's?"
