Nai dodged the vertical slash at her leg easily as she one-arm pumped the shotgun once more, only to get directly hit with a bright flash of light. Because of her idea of aiming right at the center of the angelo cudato, she was looking directly into Bellona's bright hand and there was really nothing she could have done about it unless she had the ability to read minds. As with before, Nai's body reacted immediately and performed another evasive maneuver. This time, she chose to fall into a backwards roll. Blinded, the only sign she managed to get of the angel's attack was a searing pain right through her entire lower left leg. Unable to ignore the pain of having a staff run through bone and not being able to free her leg from the staff, Nai let out a muffled, "Mph!" which was quite an expression considering her usual silence as more pain jolted through her leg while her dodge was jerked to a stop. Through the mind-numbing pain, Nai's instincts recognized that for a staff to go through her leg with such strength and for it to keep her from finishing her dodge, there was a very good chance that the attacker was still on it. Shotgun still in hand, the girl shot diagonally upwards just as her back slammed into the ground. Not bothering to aim, and hopefully not needing to considering the shotgun's wide attack range, the attack should have come as a complete surprise. The girl still refused to give up, despite the hopeless position she was in.

{Uh, such a bothersome feeling,} the same lazy voice that had tried to get Nai out of the fight commented, most likely on the pain, {That's it, we're getting to sleep.}

Then, for the first time, Sloth bothered to take over. Nai's eyes, now revealed thanks to her hood coming off in the fight, momentarily turned a silverish blue while simultaneously changing from a fierce battle look to a can-we-just-get-this-over look, her mouth stayed the same shape with only her eyes telling the sudden change in consciousness. However, the look was only for a moment as Nai's eyes suddenly closed into what seemed to be sleep. Yes, Sloth was too lazy to even take the trouble of getting the staff out of his host's body. It wasn't like he cared about the pain. No, what was bothering him enough to do anything was how much trouble his host was causing because of the pain. Even though she might not have shown it or even known about it, the girl felt pain just like any other person and a good number of those any other persons would have probably fainted from the pain of being stabbed straight through the bone. Staying awake while feeling that pain.... If Sloth had cared enough, he would have shuddered at the amount of exertion it must require, the exertion that he felt because she was his host.

X thought with a sneering boredom from the shadows. However, unlike the last time Sloth had acted up, the fox-like being did nothing to stop him.

(OOC: Well, I tried to think of how Sloth would get involved in a fight like this and... yeah....

Dante narrowed his eyes at the Obelisk. "Okay, I prefer the throat then. But we'll settle this eventually." He said, before deciding while he was in a training facility he may as well train.

Dante walked at his usual extremely slow pace towards the nearest scroll rack. He squatted next to it, looking up and down the scrolls until he found the one he was looking for. He hadn't trained his wind element in a while, and perhaps it was time to start again.

After picking up the scroll, Dante looked down the techniques, searching for one he hadn't learned yet. After looking for a while he found one called air blast. It was basically a more traumatizing version of the great wind attack.

After reading the scroll and setting it down, Dante got in a stance, his feet shoulder width apart and his back straight. He didn't know why, but this always helped him train. After that, he punched forward, sending out energy in air form.

Even though Dante had no specific target that time, he could clearly see it worked. The compressed wind could be seen, and it dissipated after a while. Dante smiled, knowing he could do great damage with an attack like this.

After Dante had learned air blast, he sat down for a moment. He then stood back up suddenly, picking up his scroll as he did so. He opened up the scroll once more to the wind element techniques.

After looking down the list again, Dante found a skill called air vortex. He liked it because it added on to the skill air funnel, which could push and pull enemies. He set down the scroll, and started to learn his skill.

For once, Dante was glad that the Obelisk wasn't mouthing off in his head. He usually would have told Dante to hurry up, or stop wasting time. But not right now. Right now it gave Dante all of the time he needed to concentrate.

Dante stood for a moment, feeling around in his body for his well of energy. Once he had found it, he began drawing energy from it. He stood like this for quite some time.

Even though he stood there for a while, Dante was doing it for a good reason. He was trying to find the exact right amount of energy. If he used too little, nothing would happen. On the other hand if he used too much then he'd get used to using that much energy for this skill.

Once Dante had enough energy focused, he tried forming it into a shape. He was envisioning a funnel cloud in his head. Soon enough, a vortex the size of the skill air funnel was out there.

After getting the funnel down, Dante concentrated harder, trying to put his energy to good use. The funnel was steadily growing bigger and bigger, now twice the size of the original. Soon it would be at it's maximum potential.

After a while, the funnel was huge. It was now over three times the original size, and could probably shoot out a car. Dante ended the vortex, deciding he had gotten it down. Now it was time for him to... well he didn't really know. Walk around he supposed as he stopped his training momentarily.

After training for a while, a sudden realization hit Dante. He had broken a promise to himself. He had promised himself that he would learn his full werewolf transformation as hiss very girst new skill at adept rank. While he couldn't still keep his promise, he could make it right. He set off at his top speed for the CAZ, where he could locate Fenrir again. He hoped Fenrir was feeling generous, or just willing enough to give Dante the quest. The obelisk was following him, using the shadows to move from one place to the next.

Naito walked into the training facility, he couldn't see anyone. "Anybody home?" He called hoping someone would appear.

"Hush! You'll wake her," a voice snapped, more the sound of a bonfire eating wood than a voice really. A couple other voices prevailed her senses as they argued with the first one. Liliana knew she should open her eyes but it was so hard to do right now. Darkness ate at her energy as she willed herself back into the timelessness of slumber. But it was all for not. The pain was making its way into her head and it was horrible. Screaming, Liliana finally snapped her eyes open to see four sprites around her. "Welcome back to the living," the blue one said, her voice washing over Liliana and soothing her. She looked like a mermaid, really. The others, she soon realized, seemed to mimic the four elements. Liliana opened her mouth to speak but was silenced with a look from all of them. "You're not ready for that yet," the green one said. "Breeze here still has to finish that work." She pointed to the last sprite who was playing with some magic in her hands. Once she finished, the magic seeped into Liliana, making her gasp. "What... What happened?" she was finally able to ask. The fire sprite stepped up. "You used magic well beyond what you were suppose to yet. Our elements asked us to step in and intervene, to help you. We put you back together as best as we could but... Well, you're a little different now. All the raw elemental power... changed you a bit. You're still a seer and all but... now you have a little too much elemental power in you. You'll be able to do what most people have lost." The earth sprite stepped in. "We already talked to the elements and they're okay with this. They are very familiar with you, Liliana. You treat them with a respect long since lost to most of mankind. Consider it fair repayment for who you are to others." The water sprite jumped the other two. "But we're to keep an eye on you. Make sure the power doesn't go to your head. So you'll see us from time to time.." The air sprite smiled and Liliana could tell she didn't need a word from her. It was all in her eyes. "Thank you," Liliana said as she slowly sat up. "I promise to do right by this gift." The sprites giggled and vanished.
