Merice shuffled about the entrance to the Pride, sleepy and tousle headed. The young babe paddled up to a wall and tempted a menacing growl, then coughed and slouched from it. She was stricken with boredom.

Jalara padded out of the lefthand cave, ear flakes trembling. Somebody was here...She glanced around, blue eyes taking in the surroundings. The teal cub stood out against the white ground. "Hello, little one..." She padded over, nosing the cub.

She rolled gently with the impact and her jaws smiled and clamped across her own small toes.
"Everybody's hunting! Will you play with me?" she ventured boldly.

"Of course I will." Jalara sat down, blue eyes watching the cub. "What is your name, young one?"

The ligeress strode forth from the brush. Her purple pelt slightly shone in the light as she approached the den area. Looking over at the others, she gave a chuff of a greeting. "Well hello there." She grinned and noticed Jalara. "How have you been, my friend?" She slightly twitched her ears as she came closer to the other female.

"I have been fine, Anya-mother." Jalara purred, tail sliding from side to side in contentment. The blue eyes went to the green bundle sleeping on her legs. "I found a cub."

"So I can see.." Anya smiled over at the lioness then over at the bundle. "This little one was found by its lonesome?" She questioned slightly shocked at the idea. "With no others around?" Anya looked up at Jalara with concerned eyes for the cub. "I'm certainely happy that you found this little one..."

After a hard and continuous journey, the family returned to their own lands, tired, but home none the less. Kichea nudged her children foreward, hoping they would feel happy here. She smiled at them as Shairi swung a paw at Jayvyn's tail feathers, a playful grin on her daughter's face. Kichea rubbed her face into Akin's mane. "It is good to be home..." She said purring softly.

Anya turned noticing the leaders' return. She smiled walking toward them. "Welcome home, your Majesty." She bowed toward Akin then looked over at Kichea. "M'Lady Kichea." The liger acknowledged also bowing. Sitting up, she looked over at the cubs. "My they are adorable. I see you have an heir now, King Akin." She played waving her tail feathers. "Well, I shall go find some food for this event. Be back soon." Turning around, the huntress slightly trotted off into the tall grasses chuffing her good-byes at Jalara and the cub.

A strong wind suddenly began to blow, and a thick grey cloud shifted across the hot desert sun, shielding the land in a shadow. The grass danced and shifted, the soft rustling noise seeming as to tell a story. The wildlife skittered for cover, the hares shivering in their holes. It seemed as if mother nature was making sure that the whole world knew about Yves' advancement.
He sighed boredly, his soft blue eyes darting back and forth, his powerful nose taking in the scent of the King as he crossed over the boarder without so much as a second glance. His stride was quick and fluid, lean muscles rippling under his dark coal-hued coat. He stopped, raising his head high as he glanced around for Jalara, the lioness whom he had... business with.

The sought-for lioness was greeting her newly-returned King, giving her congratulations over his cubs and breaking the news to him of her own. "...as you see, Akin. If this displeases you, I will leave."
"No, no." The Silver King looked over the white male and black female. "I won't force you to leave because of this. They are quite welcome here." He lowered his head and smiled at the young things. "Stunning cubs."
Jalara flushed with gratitude, embarrassment and pride. "Yes they are." She nuzzled them both. "Thank you. I owe you so much."
"You owe me nothing, Jalara." Akin sank down to rest in front of one of the cave mouths. "I believe I will sleep for a moment." He chuffed at his own cubs and mate before resting his head.

Yves appeared suddenly, a few feet away from Jalara and the two cubs. His mouth was set in an unemotional line, and his eyes flickered with no real affection t'ward the cubs. His thick golden mane was ruffled slightly by a light wind, and chills raced up his spine, for some reason. It wasn't the wind... Maybe it was from what he had done.

The young Den Mother giving her cubs a thurough washing, the male between her forelegs. She didn't notice the male until her other littleling squeaked.
"Mother!" Ceari pushed herself up against the Tribal Lioness's side. Her gold and black flakes quivered. "Mother?"
Jalara raised her head from Eupe and caught sight of Yves. "Yves." She stood, chuffing apologetically at her babies. "Stay here with Akin."
She padded over to the black and gold male. "Hello again Yves."
The little female watched their mother go before tugging on her brothers ear. "Eupe?"

Yves stood proudly, his eyes flashing over the two young cubs that he had sired. He smirked slightly as Jalara approached, and he nodded a curt greeting to her.
"Expect to see me again?"
He asked calmly, his voice clipped and cold. He felt as though it was his responsiblity to stay with them, with Jalara, and raise the cubs, but he couldn't bring himself to it. He had realized, that deep down, he was too frightened to have two young lives on his hands. He wasn't like his brother.
Eupe glanced over to Ceari, his face all twisted up from the displeasure of his mom giving him a bath.
"Yea?"
He asked, half distracted by the new lion that their mom had gone over to meet with.

The little gold-and-black female tugged on his ear again. "Want to play something?" She kept throwing worried glances at their mother.
"No I wasn't." The lioness was slightly startled by this new side to the wanderer. When he had been charming her it had been pleasant, even fun. Now... "Why are you here?"
