Ed panted heavily as they laid in silence, entangled with each other. Ed relaxed in Roy's arms comfortably and wrapped his arm around him loosely. He felt fantastic laying there with his...lover. He slowly raised his head to look up at Roy's exhausted yet satisfied face. He then just as slowly raised his hand and touched it to the ravenette's cheek, feeling his sweaty skin. He leaned up and planted a gentle kiss on Roy's lips, slowly pulling away afterwords. "You promised me a shower..," he mumbled to him quietly. He felt himself coming to terms finally with their now-transformed relationship. He buried his face in Roy's chest, breathing in deeply as his arm wrapped back around the toned man holding him. He didn't seem to really want to get up now after all of that activity.

Ed couldn't help but let an almost airy grin slide onto his lips at Roy's playfulness. He slid his arms lazily around Roy's neck and he leaned up to kiss him quickly. "Oh, of course. You've got to look after your lower officers, Colonel," he told him with a small smirk. "And afterwards, you're braiding my hair again, right? It's all tangled up now," he told him, looking up into his eyes, his own golden orbs dancing. He had to admit, he did feel a lot more relaxed than he had in a long while. It was nice not having to worry if something was going to attack him or something. It was just him, Roy, and...happiness.

Ed was almost awestruck at Roy's smile. Had he ever seen him smile like that before? He couldn't remember a time... Ed sat on the counter, swinging his legs a little idly as he smiled up at Roy. "Dumbass, you braided it back in your office last night. Remember? Or was that too long ago for your aging memory?" he asked, poking fun at him as his personality began to resurface from all of the fluff and stuff they had been delved into. "Then again, I guess that whole night was hazey for me, so I have no room to talk." He slowly lifted his hand and touched Roy's forearm before sliding his hand down to clasp his hand in his own, slightly tangling their fingers together. After examining their fingers for a bit, he looked back up with a light smile.

"Damn right you're gonna have to do it," Edward grinned at him, squeezing his hand tighter. His grin softened to a content smile as their eyes connected. "Yeah, we probably should. I never liked cold showers," he commented idly. Though, he didn't move to get off of the counter of the sink. Instead he hesitated...then untangled their fingers and slid his hand back up his arm, over his shoulder-blade and up the back of his neck. His metal fingers slid into the black locks of hair as he gently pulled Roy down as he himself leaned up. He pressed their lips together perfectly, lingering a moment before pulling back and smiling at him. "Let's get this sticky mess off of us. I'm starting to feel all gross," he told him, but didn't let go of his neck. He actually pulled him a little closer, tightening his grip around him, trying to hint at being carried to the shower.

Ed just gave him a cheeky grin at the comment about his weight. "Luckily Winry makes awesome automail or this thing could weigh a ton," he told him as he was happily carried to the shower. He slid down Roy, allowing his feet to finally touch the ground as the warm water rushed over him. He groaned in happiness as his hair quickly soaked through and his body was enveloped in warmth. "This feels nice. I haven't had a good hot shower in ages," he commented as he leaned his head back, the hot shower hitting his chest and rolling down his body, washing all of the bodily fluids away.

Ed shivered a little at Roy's words, despite the warmth his body was surrounded with. "That's good to know. I'll have to break in here whenever I'm visiting, then," he mumbled. His body relaxed as it was pulled against Roy's and his shoulder was kissed. He was honestly content just like this. He laid against the raven-haired man's chest and let out a sigh of happiness. His own arms trailed up Roy's sides then wrapped around him in a loose hug, allowing his fingertips to dance across his Colonel's skin. A frown suddenly crossed his face, though, as a thought crossed his mind. "I have to tell Al..," he mumbled, a dark cloud seeming to form above him. How would he react? He was probably going to be pissed-off and confused and yell at him. How would Hughes react? Oh, God, Winry? He groaned and buried his face in the muscled chest before him.

Ed nodded slightly, allowing the colonel to comfort him. “Thanks, Mustang..,” he mumbled against the colonel’s wet skin. He nodded once again at his suggestion then sighed in content while Roy began washing him with gentle motions. He relaxed forward against Mustang’s chest, allowing the black haired superior to hold him up. He was kind of tired now, but...they had to go on a date. He kind of wanted to go on a date with the colonel, just to see how well they worked outside of the bedroom...and sex in general, really. “So...where are you taking me?” he asked him, a soft sigh of content still in his voice.
