The Shadow dragon could nearly have Hadyn in its (his) grasp, but then she escapes; he gets angry/frustrated, and then attacks the two of them.
Meanwhile, Hadyn will be yelling at Jess to try and actually do something; something along the lines of "This is your kingdom now, and you need to defend it!"
YOU HAVE TO FIGHT/ angryface. D<
