Nuri nodded his head at Nola and returned her greeting with a smile. "Good morning, and thank you." But his smile broadened at her questions. Her attitude was outstanding, especially for one so young. She could be out playing or doing any number of things, but she asked how she could help instead. He turned back to Ling. "I haven't slept this well in a very long time, thank you. There's a certain feeling of family here that's very refreshing." He frowned slightly. "But ah... where are all the adults?"

The little kitten nodded and smiled to the males before running off and pouncing on Xia nipping her ear. "Wake up!" She chirped. She then scrambled off to wake the other kittens. "UP!" She nudged each one by one. "King Ling says so."

The lioness's paws stepped lightly upon the wet earth. She had swam from her former pride all the way to this one. Her muscles were sore from the travel, but she continued to walk. The adult's ears flicked as she gave a small chuff. Coming to the outskirts of Ling's Territory, she pointed her maw to the sky and gave a very loud greeting roar. It lasted for a long while until her lungs burned. Stopping, the lioness waited for a reply.

Ling had been about to reply to Nuri when he heard a loud roar. He moved to the opening of the cave and let out a loud roar of his own. it was low, long a loud, making certain that the other knew he would be waiting for them if they came near. "It seems...that we have company..." He sighed and looked ot Nuri. "I trust you...please watch the kittens."

Nuri cocked his head at the sound of another lion's roar. Watching Ling's reaction, he was nevertheless surprised to have the king's trust. He nodded. "Sure thing. Just take care of what you need to do." He glanced back inside the cave. It was becoming apparent that Ling's little pride was just that, literally.

She huffed and trudged into the territory. Her steps swift, even thoughe very muslce in her body screamed for rest. Her nose soon caught the scent of the leading male and began to follow it. She wondered who this new lion was.

Ling moved away from the cave, out into the open grass where he could keep this new lion away from the kittens and Nuri. He waited, and waited for the other to show, his patience getting the better of him as he clawed the ground with one paw. "come on...show yourself."

The lioness came into view. Her magenta pelt slightly shone in the light as she licked her maw. Her steps became slightly thudded due to some fatigue. Coming in a respectable distance, she stopped with her side to the male and gave a growl of welcome. Her tail waved out behind her slightly.

By this point in time Nola had done her best to wake the others and had come back to see what Ling wanted her to do next. She had heard him roar and wondered what was going on. When she got back to find him gone and the other male sitting there she looked at him questioningly. "Where did King Ling go?"

The male noted the fact that it was indeed a female that came into view. He did not know this female, perhaps she'd wandered away from some group or, maybe, just maybe, cloud she be a rogue searching for a pride? He moved towards her, his muscles bunching as he walked. He held his head high and glanced at the female before stopping before her. "What is it that brings you to my territory?" His voice rumbled, something rare for the good hearted king.

"Another lion has entered the territory and he went to investigate. He asked me to stay here with you." He sat down at the mouth of the cave and watched Nola curiously. "You can relax now and play if you'd like. I'll watch over all of you so don't worry."

She began to bow giving a soft rumble. "I am searching for a home..." She simply stated not saying much more. Her eyes were still casted downward and she still bowed.

"A home is it?" He sighed and walked around the female. He was surprised that a feamle such as she would be out and about without a pride, but who was he to complain. "This is a place of peace. if you can handle such a thing, then you are welcome here. I am Ling, thisi s my land..and you are?" He continued to circle her. She smelled of other lions, andother pride, had she abandoned them? had they left her? he would find out.

Nola tilted her head a little but vaugly understood what was going on. She looked over this new male again and noted his coloring. An inpulse was building up inside her and finaly she dove for his tail pinning it the to ground with a little roar of her own. It was arguably the most pathetic roar anyone had ever heard.

She raised her head and gave a slight tilt of her chin. Eyeing him, she gave a proud growl. "Thank you. I appreciate the offer and I will gladly take it. My name is Leanna. I come from a seperate pride. I left for..personal reasons...
